1 issue with driver side windshield wiper...it was constantly coming loose and flapping, have to stop, pop back in and then slow wipers down....other than that, everything was great!!

The only problem that I had was the over charge that was applied to my credit card for an additional 11.5 miles the system claimed that I drove. I drove 17.6 miles total but I was charged for 29 miles total. I was given Uhaul customer service number to file my dispute.

Teresa at the Fairfield location was wonderful and went above & beyond to help with all of the reservation issues I had with the uhaul. However your reservation system is HORRIBLE! I reserved a 10' truck to be picked up in Oxford, OH a week in advance. I was notified by Teresa (not anyone from UHaul reservations) less than 24 hours of pick up time that there were no 10' trucks anywhere close to Oxford and I had to use a 15' truck (which I did not need) that was located 30 minutes outside of Oxford. I had to drive 30 minutes from the original pick up location. And then the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas to start our trip. I also tried to call Uhaul reservations the morning of my pick up date to see if any 10' trucks had become available. The traffic agent made an incorrect change from what she verbally confirmed with me over the phone. So Teresa had to fix the error again in the reservation. I still can't believe that nothing from my original confirmed paid booking was honored during this process. I will not be using Uhaul in the future.

It was not the location that was the problem. It was the truck. I booked the truck on Thursday I believe, got the email confirmation on Friday. Saturday I got a call from the property saying the truck was giving the current people renting it problems, and that I would have to pick it up two hours later than I booked. Then I got another call two hours later saying that the truck wasn't going to be available at all anymore which I said was not acceptable so they called back and confirmed for the later time, not my originally booked time because they current renter was still having problems with the truck. When we picked up the truck the gas tank was not full (U Haul owes me for 2.5 galls of gas still). As we started to drive away we noticed that the passenger side mirror would not stay in place, rendering it useless and making the drive totally blind on that side and incredibly dangerous. We had already booked help so we kept driving. Halfway down to the property we were loading the truck started making a really horrific noise like the transmission was going to explode. It ended up going away after we got on flat ground but did that every time we were on an uphill or downhill and it was terrifying. The mirror continued to be a problem no matter how many times we stopped and got out to adjust it so we could see properly. The site manager told me to call UHaul and they would give me partial refund for this TERRIBLE rental experience and for the gas I am owed (I returned it full) however when I called, after taking my info they said someone would get back to me about the refund. I am still waiting.
