More updated truck cabs. These were stripped down models and very out dated. For what we're investing in renting these trucks we at least deserve automatic windows.DARRIN G.

My original pickup location cancelled my reservation and charged a 50 $cancellation fee. I arrived at 3 pm which was 2 hours after my 1pm scheduled pickup, however they were closed with no posted hours of operation. I had to arrange for another pickup nearby.DAVID R.

The ONLY complaint I have is largely my own fault. I waited late in the week to rent for the weekend. I was disappointed there wasn't more available. My wife called all over town and this was ALL that was available. I know that times are tough and maintaining a fleet is difficult but it would have been nice to have a truck available rather than a 5x8 trailer. Again, my fault for not calling sooner.KENNETH H.

The only reason I would not recommend the specific pick up location is because the furniture dolly we reserved online was not available when we came to get our truck. The lady said they ran out. I'm not sure why one wasn't put aside for our pick up that morning. I had to go out and quickly purchase one so we could move our furniture. I'm thankful I could find one because we could not have moved the heavy pieces without it. Can I count on the extra items next time I rent a U-Haul? Possibly notRan G.
They would not hook up the trailer other than put it on the ball - said it was too much legal responsibility. When I tried to hook up the 1st trailer safety chains, one hook was so bent it couldn't be used - had to get a different trailerEDWIN H.

The trucks passenger door handle was missing, the truck itself had a severe shake at 55 mph (I would have returned the truck if I had noticed it before loading it.), I told them I would be driving 1250 miles and was still given a truck I wouldn't drive 100 miles. I was told I would be given what was available. What would have happened if the truck broke down? Who would have had to re pack my household goods in another truck? This truck should have been removed from inventory.STEVEN R.
The ladies at Barnett's went above & beyond to help me. The online experience - AWFUL. That service -THE WORST. The info INCORRECT. Arrived to pick up the 10' truck I had reserved to discover I had no truck at all. If 10' trucks can't leave the state - TELL US! The ladies at Barnetts bent over backward to find me a truck to move our family. If a customer accepts all the listed requirements to reserve & pay a lot for one of your trucks - how about HOLDING the reservation for them or letting us know that what we want is not available so we can choose something else! Those ladies at Barnett's were amazing - y'all should thank them for their dedication to U-Haul's customers.KATHERINE H.

We just dropped off the truck late at night so I can't rate Barnett's body shop. I will say that the return instructions from Uhaul were not clear. I received my text message which gave a link for return location. When I clicked on link it just gave the address. We refueled the truck and returned it and put key in lock box after this very frustrating move. On the way home I looked at the text again and saw another link which said to take a picture of the truck in the parking lot. Then I was worried that I hadn't done that. Your company needs to make these specific return instructions more clear. Neither the man at the pick up location, nor the 3 people from 1-800-uhaul explained that to me.Bobby H.
You charged 20 $for after-hours drop-off for a 14,95 $/day rental. Doesn't make much sense. This problem is on you - not the dealer.BARNEY F.
We were told the drop off would return our deposit. We got there they were closed. Left info called the next day said U-haul would send us a check. Hello. The cleaning charges should have been paid by the people before me. It was a little dirty inside, but more on the outside( it appeared it had been stuck in the mud). I informed the person over the phone about this before I drove it from Madison County. She will remember that the gps would not recognize the location of pickup. The business was closed, so I had to call her to get access to the key. I answered the online questionnaire when I dropped it off and I said it needed cleaning, thinking you already had a record of it. I guess the system thinks I was saying I got it dirty. Truck seemed old and felt a bit old - especially after last rental from same location was near new truck that drove better. Headlights were very dim. Truck had less than 1/4 tank when I picked up. Despite driving a round trip of 9 miles - had to get gas before making initial destination (4 miles from pickup location). Prior experience was much better.Garett M.
The AC in the truck was not working. Only blowing hot air. The fuel was not full at pickup. Just over half full. I returned it full, however.Cris W.
