Original location did not have the trailer I reserved and checked in online. I get sent 14 miles away to another location where I had to hitch the trailer myself and text a pic to owner. Left tire of trailer was bald with piece of tread missing. From poor equipment to a reservation that was not kept delaying me by 2.5 hours. Would like to speak to someone about how to make this right

Auto Transport Trailer Had 3-4 Lights Not Operational... This Facility had JUST Received this Trailer....So I suspect the PRIOR facility did not perform a correct post trip inspection or repair of the equipment...

While both the Pickup and Drop off location personnel were helpful, the over all experience was frustrating. I reserved and paid for the truck several weeks in advance. Two days before the scheduled pick up date I got a call saying that the truck I reserved was not available because there were no 1 way trucks available. I informed the person on the line several times that I rented round trip, not one way, and I had the printed confirmation to show that. She never did acknowledged that but found another truck at another location 30 miles further from my home and it had to be picked up a day earlier than I planned because this location was not open on Saturday. In the end she gave me an extra day and 30 extra miles to compensate. When I showed up to pick up the truck they had no knowledge of the extra day and had mileage listed as 100 miles less than the original quote before the extra 30 mile were supposed to be added. The woman at the pickup location was very helpful and called U-Haul to correct the situation. U-Haul assured her that the situation was resolved even though the printed receipt did not show that. When I went to return the truck, a day earlier than the contract showed as the due date, they tried to charge me an extra $50 for excessive miles and returning a day late! Again the person at the desk had no knowledge of the extra day and extra miles that I was promised because of the changes initiated by U-Haul. In the end he got it straitened out but there are apparently some significant problems on the corporate side of the reservations process.

Barnum and Tenny was a great business to rent the U-Haul trailer! They were friendly and professional and had all the equipment I needed to convert my lights from a 7-prong to a 4-prong. I was able to drop off the trailer on a Sunday although they technically were not open. Thank you!

U-haul app does not recognize when you verify your email which makes 24/7 pick-up extremely difficult. Two days in advance I contacted customer service to inquire about the app (not working) and was told I would be fine at pick-up and I could call customer service should I have any trouble. I went to pick-up my truck at 8 pm for my reservation and could not access the keys because the app would not work. I was on hold for 40 minutes for customer service until I left and decided to come back in the morning. When I arrived at 8 am my u-haul had been reserved for someone else, despite me calling the pick-up location and leaving a message and trying to contact u-haul. I did get a truck in the end, but it was unnecessary stress when I was moving. Needless to say, I do not recommend 24/7 pick-up if using the app.

The young ladies working there and the manager were very nice, friendly and very positive in their attitudes. I really appreciate this because we started at 9 mile and Telegraph and the two people working inside didn't seem to know anything and were not helpful (except one young male outside) so we left and went down the street and found your employees to be helpful and very nice!

The 24/7 checkout takes a very long time, something I wasn't aware of when I first chose that option. Next time I would probably just drive the extra 10 minutes to the next u-haul location and get in person assistance. The part that took the longest was by far the agent confirming I was who I said I was, taking around 23 minutes.
