The cashier was very rude and down right disrespectful every question I asked she had a smart remark kept arguing with me and told me I must be stressed because I’m moving that is no way to talk to a paying customer Walked off the job. The owner and his wife was polite and helpful. That cashier needs to be fired

The service was average at best. Because of the process was slow and I didn’t get a chance to fully inspect my vehicle which only came out to have the truck light out so it was hard to move stuff at night. On top of that, the vehicle was parked too close to the fence and it was hard for me to back out until the guy came and finally helped me out.

There wasn't anything to improve upon in my opinion! I hope my next experience with U-haul goes as well as this one did! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Do your company a favor and Keep this staff around as long as possible!!

They were closed at 1:30pm... there was no sign instructing me on how to drop the equipment off okay... I called customer service and they told me I could not leave the equipment on the street in front of the business otherwise I would be liable if anything happened to it Brooke and Rachel... I had to go to another U-Haul to drop off the trailer... it was ridiculous!

I reserved in Vacaville and was informed a day beforehand that I would instead have to go all the way to Vallejo to pick up my truck. I then had to spend more on gas accordingly.

I am completely and utterly aghast at my experience with U-Haul. This is one of those experiences that plants a deep seed in your mind to *always* stay away from doing business with the company in question, and I will not hesitate to tell anyone and everyone about my experience. Moving can be one of the most stressful experiences in our lives. It doesn't need to be made even more stressful. Yet, U-Haul has the market cornered, is obviously the top player, and because of this knows that customer experience plays little, if any, part in the management and operation of the business. The practices I experienced yesterday have been shocking, and if U-Haul were a new company just starting out without all the market leverage it enjoys, I have no doubt it would be out of business within the year. It is apparent that U-Haul sees its captive audience and invests the absolute bare minimum needed to keep the company "running." U-Haul: Keep your promises. Don't deceive. Strive to take care of your customers. Experiences like this should NEVER happen, and would never happen if there wasn't an obvious monopoly. Hire better workers, strive for perfection, honor your customers, get your damn logistics in order, and don't EVER, EVER treat your customers with as little respect and care as you did me. I learned the hard way and I lost half a day and nearly a $1,000 because of it. If you've made it this far and you really care about your company, take this message up the ladder and make them know they have a problem. I, for one, intend to tell everyone I know try Penske, or any other company, first.

I don’t know if it’s Uhaul.com scheduling staff but renting a truck today was by far THE WORST experience ever. We reserved for concord and received confirmation for a pick up location for benecia, Vallejo. Ok fine we made our adjustments. Our reservation allowed us to put for 7am pick up since per UHaul.com, this location is open from 7am-7pm. But when we arrived at the 400 benecia place, it doesn’t open until 9. So we waited another 2 hours. Then we we were told that the our reservation couldn’t be found! Things couldn’t get any worst so we called U-Haul and then was told that our reservation is in Oakland! Although our emails and text confirmation were at the 400 Benecia! After 30+ mins, “somehow” our reservation finally showed up in their system and we finally were able to get our truck. Worst experience ever! UHaul, Please train better employees to coordinate reservations! It was the worst and stressful experience with U-Haul!

If all of the crew is on lunch, there should be a sign on when customers should expect them to return. But the staff was very helpful and helped me get in and out of the rental truck very easily. Awesome overall!

I tried to get a truck one way for a month. I moved from Alameda to Fairfield, ca. I would had to pick up a truck in Millbrae from Alameda to use a one way truck. Finally on my last attempt a customer service rep in Oakland told me I needed a round trip truck. I had to rent a truck in Vallejo drive it to Alameda to go to Vacaville and return to Vallejo. All the one way trucks were going out of state and they do not have enough trucks fo customers. I should had been told from the beginning about the problem with a one way truck. I was stress out about my getting a truck to move and this was not fair. The person in Vallejo was so helpful.

I am glad uhaul was able to find me a 15’ as reserved on my original reservation. They had directed me a location hours away and changed to a 20’ truck without letting me know in my moving date.
