Not much help to assist with the equipment. Somewhat unprepared to receive returns

JOHN SThe service at the pick up location was very good. My problem was with your on line reservation and check in system. I completed my reservation and check in online; however when I got to the pick up location I had to go through the whole process again: drivers licence, credit card, questions, etc. Also the U-Haul software at the office was very slow. I showed up for my pick up time of 10 AM and didn't get on the road until after 10:30 AM. Very frustrating.

Jeffrey SService at Bay Motel was excellent, but your booking process is miserable! I reserved the trailer with your app but none of the information was transferred to Bay Motel. We had to go through everything again! A huge waste of time.

Holger SOnce I made my second trip back to Seeleys Bay, way out of my way, 20 km's each way. The lady was very nice and helpful but the trailer was not ready. Stuck and in snow. After 30minutes of working in the dark. I was on my way and everything was good.

Vishnu RIt was so convenient to be able to pick up and drop off, close to home, and not have to drive into Kingston. It saved me money on kms too. One challenge is that being rural, it can be difficult to get through the mobile account prompts. The very nice managers of the property were able to give me a wifi password on pick up day, and this helped my drop off go very smoothly. Had they not been around however, I would have been stuck. Perhaps Uhaul could provide this if we need to call them. I will definitely return to use trucks from this location, and stay for Caribbean food when my job is done too!

Richard PThe tightening device was very hard to use, we didn't trust it and took a friends trailer. Later when I returned your trailer I ( nor the clerk) could get it off the ball on my truck. I had to pull the pin and leave my receiver behind to get picked up tomorrow. So something isn't right with it, perhaps it is bent or dirty?
WILLIAMLP EIt would be good if the bigger trailers had a tongue jack. Even when they are empty they can be difficult to lift up to the hitch and position it over the ball.

JOHN RThank god for Melanie! I spoke to two different agents and they both confirmed a pickup time of 7:30 pm including sending me a confirmation text. I arrived and they were closed as they do every day at an earlier time. Lucky for me Melanie had stayed later after she was finished worked and was able to check us in with our trailer. I am thoroughly unimpressed with uhaul lately as there have been issues the last couple times booking with your company. The fact I spoke to two separate people and got a confirmation time in text and all three were wrong is unacceptable.

ALBERT VAlthough the locations were great in terms of appearance and customer service. So very happy with that…. But there is room for improvement…. The original plan was for me to pick up at Seeleys Bay… but the lights on the trailer were not working and so I had to go to Kingston. So in the end with the extra time I actually "paid more" for the rental. Uhaul should empower all employees to ask the customer "sorry for the inconvenience how can we make you whole?" And then empower them to make it happen… No need for surveys if they do this….

Kate TAppreciated having a U-haul location so close to home. I ordered Wednesday night and the vehicle was available as requested Thursday morning. Service was efficient and friendly and the location and equipment were clean an easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend this location to others!
