The vehicle did not have operational taillights, and it should have been thoroughly checked out by the rental operation ahead of time. We discovered the issue that evening, when we were 90 miles to the north. We thought it might be a fuse issue, and bought a fuse tester and a selection of fuses, at which point we discovered that the fuse box cover had previously been removed in another renter's effort to discover what was wrong. It was apparently a wiring problem rather than a fuse problem, because our testing did not reveal a bad fuse, though there was a fuse or circuit breaker that had been removed and was sitting on the console. We had to rent a motel room for 110 $to avoid driving home in the dark. This was not a good experience for a van with only 9 000 miles on it. Frustrated and disappointed with the experience.

I made arrangements by phone for truck rental, pads and a dolly. When I got there I was told they had no pads and no dolly. This was a significant problem because it delayed arrangements I had made.

The computer that was being used was very slow and took for ever for the lady to bring up.the next screen to enter data we had rented the van gor two hours they some how got the milage wrong there needs to be built in to the program that looks at miles traveld to amount of time travled if the millage exceeds the amount it would tske to go in that time example 1000 miles in 2 hours needs to rase a few red flags theres no way the van can do 500 mphand if i am driving that fast i be getting a big speeding ticket

Direct customers to working drop-off sites. I was directed to drop off the truck at two sites that were no longer Uhaul drop-offs, even though they are on the internet and Uhaul customer service said they were. The third spot worked was open. It was quite frustrating, time consuming, and cost me gas.

Since it was a neighborhood dealer the woman at the counter had me wait 20 + minutes to get a confirmation from her supervisor before giving me the keys. I had phone screen open and pulled up to say that i had the rental and she would not look at it. Very unhappy with the experience.

This experience was terrible. THE TOTAL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 65 NOT 95!! ALSO THE SERVICE PEOPLE AT GAS STATION DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING SO I HAD TO USE THEIR COMPUTER TO MAKE MY OWN RESERVATION. THE TOTAL WAS 65 ON MY PRINT OUT SHEET.... U GUYS ARE TELLING ME ITS 95????? THIS WAS A TERRIBLE WXPERINCE IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO GET THE DAMN TRUCK FROM THE POOR ESTABLISHMENT OF UR GUYS THAT U HAVE......

Give assistance in hooking up trailer. I was blessed that another customer who was also picking up a trailer took pity on me and taught me how to do it. The trailer did not have the correct length of wiring so I had to go back in to location and ask for the piece that was kept behind the counter. Trailer was also missing one of the rubber pieces that held the fender in place.

The truck I rented hadn't been swept out. The "dome" light in the back had been broken but not repaired. I removed the 14 $insurance charge, but was charged for it anyway.

Everything went well. The lady knew what she was doing and was able to get me in and out quickly. You could tell the truck had a 145K on it. The steering seemed a little loose but I was going on the highway so it was fine.

I used Truck Share for the first time and I am impressed. I did run into an issue with no network error picking up and an error saying no photos were uploaded (but they were.) Still have to wait in line to pick up the key but when it was my turn it was a quick hand over of the key. Return was a breeze! I will recommend this to my friends and family.

With on line reservations and the professional attitude of this location my experience was perfect. Ease of refueling at their reasonably priced gas station was nice too. I use them frequently when I need to haul anything bigger than my Honda Accord can handle. I would definitely recommend using them.

My trailer had right side lights out and had to switch to a smaller trailer. I was charged the same for a small as the large I originally wanted. So fuck you guys for not maintaining a standard for these operators to follow. Glad Uhaul has such great service! Amazballs!!

I had to return the truck to the same place. Which meant that I had to travel over a hundred miles back to do that. I was also overcharged for the gas I didn't put in because I couldn't figure how how much to put in.

It took an hour to get the truck. Nobody else in line. The truck had several problems and ran poorly. Needed serious maintenance . Worst rental experience I've had.

I didn't have a reservation for this transaction, I just popped in to see if they had what I needed. For this having been a last minuet situation, the clerk, Tyna, made the whole thing go smoothly. She managed to walk me through the process, while simultaneously running the register. I never felt rushed, I understood what was going on, and I got what I needed, even though I failed to plan ahead. Merci.

I have been going to the same place to rent my u-haul and as long as Bayshore has u-hauls and I need one that's were ill go they friendly and most times fast but totally worth the wait

Have someone there that can assist with unhooking the trailer. She told me to just find a spot next to any of the other trailers out there and so I pulled into a spot right next to another trailer, I finally figured out how to unhook it myself and when it came undone, the whole trailer slide back about 15 feet. I was blessed that none got hurt including myself. All is well that ends well but.......

I ordered via Reservation:26076298 a 6' x 12' Utility Trailer with Ramp: for 14,95 $. I went to the place it was and they were unable to get the reservation to fully load although they could see it. So they had to do a new reservation and it cost me far more, which is my cause for complaint. They changed it to reso # 93748067 and charged me 35,75 $. I'd like a partial refund.

I had a great experience and the truck I rented was very helpful. My only complaint is it was extremely hard to get fuel in that truck! One of the employees even tried to help me and it's almost impossible to fuel that truck. She said she'll look into it.

I tried to using the self-serve option but it was a disaster. The app didn't work (so I had to use the website), and there were way too many questions that had to be answered onsite that should have been taken care of when I made the reservation. It's almost like the people that developed the service never actually tried to use it. The only bright spot was that support was available and got me through the process, but I would never use it again. Too bad too because it would be very convenient if it actually worked.

The truck that I rented was not clean and there was garbage in the back that I disposed of. When I returned the truck I was charged a cleaning fee even after contesting the charge. I will not be renting from u-haul again.

The mesh on the expanded metal ramp is poorly designed & caused damage to my washer due to a leveler becoming stuck by "keyholing" through the mesh. It took the better part of an hour to free the washer & the frame was damaged as a result. Since all levelers/legs on appliances are very close to the same size the ramp design should be changed to utilize smaller mesh to prevent similar issues. Trailers I've rented from your competitors incorporate smaller mesh & I've never had this problem in the past.
