I just dropped of the van and put the keys in the box. Really couldn't be easier. I suppose if they had one of the scan codes for the app posted that might be "ideal" but a drop box is pretty painless. Got my adjusted invoice first thing the next day so no headache or worry whatsoever.

Alexander TVery bizarre- I made a reservation to drop off the trailer in Gunnison Colorado. I received a text and phone call from Uhaul to quickly return the equipment for the next family. When we arrived in Gunnison, he said he was not accepting any more trailers. He said that in his system Uhaul said that we were to return to Paonia, Colorado- which was more than a two hour drive from Gunnison. Not sure what Uhaul's issues are- but this was not the drop off experience we wanted.

Amanda RU-Haul should work to understand the unique business dynamics of U-Haul locations that serve tourist / second home owner towns. I suspect these business dynamics make it extremely difficult to maintain a profitable trailer business.

joe gThe drop off location is a bit chaotic, but it is fine. It was closed, so did not engage anyone in person. I don't need it to be "clean and inviting," but it was unfortunately more than 30 miles from my destination so I was charged $1 per extra mile just to drop the truck off.

tim wThe location I contracted to drop off was changed and i still dropped off at contracted spot however the guy was not happy about it and said I'd probably get charged. I said I'd see them in court I have a contract paperwork with location set as Gunnison not Paonia. He said uhaul don't care. The company does it all the time switching drop off locations on people after they pick up equipment.

richard kThe business was closed so we pulled into lot to drop off trailer and self check-out. This man , owner?, walked over to us and told us to park in the street. Then he proceeded to tell us that we were his last trailer bc this wasn't worth it to him, he didn't get paid to refurbish these. He asked us how this piece of junk trailer had been. Very unprofessional, unfriendly. He should not be a partner of U-Haul as he is a poor representative of the company. He acted like we were an inconvenience to him when we would have preferred to do self check-out vs have this interaction with him.
Natalie RJunk everywhere in the shop. Manager was very helpful but he started calling and texting the night before our return date and time asking if we could bring it earlier.
Austyn AApp pick-up system is a total mess--slow and asks for multiple IDs (like a passport), which is ridiculous. Very non-intuitive. Truck cab was a little dirty and wiper blades needed replacing. Engine made a ticking noise that is probably a bad valve.
Kevin TBerfield's in Gunnison, CO took excellent care of us. It was a very smooth process from end to end.
Wayne MThe facility was not open when I returned the truck on a Sunday (early-afternoon). I parked the truck behind the building with some other U-Haul trucks. Hoping that was the best location.
Chris HThe guy running this place is awesome! He was extremely helpful. I would not say the place is clean and inviting but it is what I would expect when renting a moving truck. Overall, it was a good experience.
