Absolutely horrible key lock that needs lubrication. Letters obtained from the on line site verification, must line up exactly which was not very exact. I had to fiddle, and fiddle and fiddle. On line app directed me to a live customer service #/ person by phone and I was disconnected twice, third time I was given an alternate code, which also didn't work. Went back to original code and after multiple attempts was able to get my key! Overall check out took more than 45 minutes! Rediculous!

Make it simpler to rent. Advertised price is somewhat deceptive ... When one includes mileage cost, cost of gas, typical insurance, environmental fee, rental tax, the cost easily is more than double advertised price. Oh, well.

The location and the owner was professional and knowledgeable and my only complaint is that if you do not have an actual bank debit card then you are not able to pay any extra fees and you have to put down $100 on your card, otherwise it was good.

Actually I left the Uhaul trailer at Nicholasville Road State Farm location- I looked on Google maps and didn't feel comfortable backing a trailer at Rosemont Gardens location but at the Nicholasville Road location I could pull through the lot and park in the back of the building, used firewood I found back there behind the wheels to prevent slippage of the wheels. I returned this morning and apologized for the use of the firewood and offered to pay for it but Derek was very gracious. Maybe signs at the Nicholasville Road location telling us where to park would be helpful. The Uhaul service personnel Christy whom I called on the 800 helpline was very helpful- she made sure I wouldn't be charged for an extra day with the holiday, since we dropped off the trailer after hours. I had to wait 20 minutes on hold but it was worth it to talk to a real human.

It would be very helpful to list the pickup time on the mobile app and email. We didn't realize we only had 15 minutes from scheduled start time (that I couldn't find) to pick up truck. It was not so easy to correct.

Vehicle was clean but the truck is in need of repair. Had vibration and fair amount of play in the steering as well as noisy suspension. Trip took a bit longer than planned for fear of exceeding 60 mph

Hi! I still haven't received my gas refund due to gas gauge issue. I put 7 or 8 gallons over what I was supposed to put. I need my refund !!!!!

Staff at the location were friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease. I needed to leave my car because I didn't have anyone to give me a ride and there was plenty of street parking where I felt my car would be safe. There was also a BP fueling station right up the street that made refueling the vehicle very easy.

The website sacrifices clarity and discoverable behavior for upsell opportunities. Also, the website failed to work with GPS despite having access to location services, only to succeed later with no configuration changes. Don't overbook the trucks. And make weather cooler on moving day. 

The one thing I noticed is the floating gas gauge. I put gas in, it read ½ a tank. I parked it 2 miles later and it said it was below ⅜, the mark I had to be on. These should have better gas gauges so that the customers aren't confused or charged unnecessarily.

Understanding that personal circumstances occur, the Owner of the store was very late to open his store. Our scheduled time for pickup coincided with the store opening hour of 10:00am on Tues 3/22/22. By chance we got lucky - calling the Owner who was several miles away. We did not get keys in hand until 10:26am, which put us behind on our move, and ruined our moving day. If this Owner had been "Customer Oriented" - which by the way - they were clearly not! - they would have been courteous, prompt, and on time, at 10am sharp. They rent U-Haul truck's by the hour for Pete's Sake. Being on time is everything. To add insult to injury - there was no apology from the Owner. He could care less. He faked start time at 10:15am. We were so late at that point - do to his failures - we were forced to carry on, NOW late through no fault of our own. Very poor U-Haul experience overall - due to Owner/Operator's poor time management. Zero care for the undue burden placed on the Customer. Will not be renting from them in the future. It's sad when a grown man can't arrive on time to rent a moving truck. We had our reservation booked by 3pm the day before. There is no excuse for poor time management, and no concern for the Customer. This Customer was on time! Berkshire Trains & Vintage Toys??? Late, late, late (no excuse).

The gas tank was not completely full when I picked up the truck, but I still charged for returning it with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. Not enough to raise a fuss about, but not ideal.

Berkshire Trains was very knowledgeable. However, U-Haul itself was very disappointing. We had a reservation as a different location. No truck. Was told U-Haul had moved our reservation without notifying them or notifying me. Told we had to call U-Haul. When we did, they apparently had lost our reservation because we were told we had to start over. Very poor service.

Our original pick up was at Perry and Perry at State Farm and they were not ready for us and could not get the computers to work we drove five hours from Michigan and we were worried we were not gonna be able to move but fortunately we found the other place and he was great.

Although the truck I wanted showed available at my selected primary pickup location when I submitted online, the reservation was changed to the Berkshire Trains & Vintage Toys pickup/dropoff. I was thankful to have a truck reserved for the date & time I needed, but think I should have been offered a deduction for additional mileage the location change added to my fees (approximately 30-35 additional miles total).

Although the truck was clean, the floor of the box was sticky. It did not bother us (due to what we were hauling) but it was surprising given how clean everything else was. It was an excellent, seamless process though. This location was so convenient for me. I hope to use you again soon. Merci.

I received a confirmation email for pick up at squires rd. Lexington, Ky location. 2 days before I need to pick up I get a confirmation call and he said “I have a u haul pick up for 10 foot truck and dolly for you on Saturday oct 8 at 10:30” I said yes and he said see ya then. I get to the squires rd location and he tells me my pick up location has been moved to somewhere across town. Which made me an hour late picking it up. When I get to the new location he tells me he already gave the dolly I reserved to a earlier customer. Such a horrible experience, we will not use uhaul again.

I have a cell phone that I choose not to have all the bells and whistles. For instances, I don't have access to internet, I don't load apps. It seems to me, U-Haul makes the rental experience more cumbersome for me and discriminates against my tech choices. To complete my rental process I had to wait 47 minutes on the phone to talk with a U-Haul rep. Can't I submit paperwork with my key return?

I'm disappointed that uhaul needed to be reminded that I needed a trailer. The one I ordered was not where or when my reservation stated. They did huddle one up when I called about it 5 hrs later. Went across town to get it. Worked out.

The 24/7 app does not work unless I have my settings set up for phone location. I do not have this setting turned on for personal reasons. It would be nice if this wasn't required since my pick up location is already established. So this wasted an hour of my day waiting for the store to open. Another customer had the same issue.
