I was expected to show up on time to pick up the truck and the people were not even there to give me the keys. I had to wait 35min.

The mobile/self-pick up and drop off experience was abysmal. Poor cell connectivity, and I use Verizon on an iPhone X, issues with the app not recognizing that I'd granted location and camera access sharing, made for a terrible experience with pick-up and especially drop-off. I will not use the mobile feature again.

Charged double the price then what I agreed too. Left with the tank on E brought it back with tank on E yet charged for gas? Even after the owners father advised me to bring it back the way we got it. I did that and was still charged over 100$ after or agreed upon price. Highly disappointed. Contacting the better business bureau to let them know the scam and unorganized unprofessional way this facility is run. I will also be contacting uhaul directly. They shouldn't be allowed to rent their trucks running a business like this

The gentleman that helped us was very nice and polite. He actually came in to help us on a Sunday and they were closed. He did all he could to make sure we were properly taken care of and was satisfied

I wanted to share my recent experience with the check-in process for my reservation, and I believe there are some areas that need improvement. Firstly, I would like to commend the ease of making an online reservation with U-Haul. The process was straightforward, and I appreciated the option to upload my driver's license and emergency contacts directly into the system. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I arrived at the rental location and attempted to complete the mobile check-in. I had to upload my drivers license and information all over again. Not sure why. My main concern is that there was no physical desk with an associate available at the location. In my opinion, this site should exclusively offer mobile check-in. Moreover, there should be clear signage on the door, providing phone numbers to call in order to obtain the keys. This information was not communicated to me in advance, and it resulted in unnecessary confusion and delay. Furthermore, neither the mobile app nor the agent I initially contacted mentioned that the keys would be inside the back of the vehicle, accessible via a provided code. I spent an additional 15 minutes chatting with an agent who failed to provide this crucial information. I was left frustrated and had to resort to calling customer service, who then transferred me to another representative. This second representative finally informed me about the code to access the keys. To compound the issue, the mobile app incorrectly instructed me to go inside the location and show them a green checkmark, which was impossible since there was no counter at this particular rental location. In light of these issues, I strongly recommend that U-Haul take the following actions: Clearly communicate the mobile check-in process, including the location of the keys and how to access them, to customers during the reservation process. Update the mobile app's instructions to accurately reflect the check-in process at each location, including those without a physical desk or counter. Install conspicuous signage on the rental location's door, providing customers with clear instructions and phone numbers to call for assistance. By implementing these improvements, U-Haul can ensure a smoother and less frustrating check-in experience for its customers. I believe these changes would greatly enhance the overall customer satisfaction and efficiency of the rental process. The return of the vehicle was a smooth process and is spot on. This experience will not keep from renting from this location again.

The office was a mess and did not represent UHaul well at all. Furthermore, even though we added gas and returned the vehicle exactly as rented we were charged for a tank of gas. How 19,95 per day turned into over $100 is baffling and unacceptable.

I had set up a pickup time with a person at a counter, instead, the truck was waiting in the parking lot, and nobody was available, which began the nightmare of using the U-Haul app to try and get in this vehicle. It took over 2 hours to work through the app and also with talking with a rep. on the phone. Nothing would go smoothly. If an actual person was there like there was supposed to be it would have been much easier. And then after sitting in a dark parking lot in a not-so-good area of town and not getting into the truck until after 9:00 at night, the items I had requested were not in the truck, specifically the appliance dolly and moving blankets. I had a difficult move ahead of me and needed that appliance dolly to get it done, but it was not there. Because of that being left out of the truck, I had to hire a moving company to come and do the unloading of the furniture, since I could not accomplish that without the dolly. That cost me a couple of hundred dollars, which I was not prepared to do. U-Haul really let me down on this rental. VERY disappointed with everything. The truck also had no brakes. It was metal on rotors the entire time. What a nightmare. I won't be using U-Haul any time soon, I can say that.

The representative is located at a Realty Company office that was not clearly identified & was hard to find. When we arrived he placed a call to reserve listings he wanted to show to a renter. We waited for him to finish his call then told him we had reserved a truck & we wanted to return the 1 way rental in Haines City but he could not figure out how to secure that location so he charged a $45 fee saying that we did not know where we would return it & told us to call in & ask for the fee to be waived. He had already charged my credit card at that point.

When I make my truck reservation I was told that I will pick up the truck in the same place where i made the reservation When I got there to pick up the truck they told me that I have to go to a different location and when I arrived to my destination I had to waited for more than half hour because some guy in charge (jay) wasn't in the office. Finally he arrived and instead of take care my issue he decided to answer a phone call to some one else worse experience ever.

This was the second site. He did a good job. Look at your records. The original reservation site was dismal. I will never recommend it.

Location, personnel and office very unprofessional! No one was in the office for a long line of customers. There were no signs on the little office door, stating when someone would return. Customers were getting frustrated When someone did show up, the service was not good. Will never go to this location again.

The guy himself doesn't even know how to pick up the truck. I wasted at 30 minutes looking for his office. When I called, he was not there and he told me to download the wrong app. It was a mess. I called Uhaul and spent about an hour on the phone trying to create an account and open the lock. At the end, the guy gave up on me and suggested that I went to another location. It was frustrating. To top it all, when I finally got the lock open by myself, the truck needed services. The Brake light was on the whole time. I had to push the brake all the way down to the floor for it to work. It was my first experience with Uhaul, and probably my last.

The cabin needed a good cleaning and the handle that closed the back door was bent making it difficult to open and closed.

Horrible experience with this location, truck was disgusting when I picked it up. Been waiting on a call from someone that I haven't gotten yet.

Horrible all the way around. I did the check in online before my pick up date and it still took us 30 minutes to get our truck. Our movers were waiting for us for 30 minutes. The guy on the phone told us "we were doing it wrong" when he clearly couldn't see what we were doing. You have to download an app and STILL I couldn't see the code to the truck. The truck was DISGUSTING and smelled like urine. I had to put my own blankets down to keep it away from my furniture. He didn't have the dolly that I paid for ahead of time. Not sure why it let me order one. He clearly does not check on his trucks.

I have very mixed feelings. I was overcharged for gas. I returned truck with more gas than was in truck when I left. I took pictures. I still don't have a credit. I also was overcharged for mileage. Not happy. Still unresolved.

The Uhaul app didn't function properly to complete contactless/online check out. No one was on site for the checking out of the uhaul therefore it required me to wait over an hour for someone to give me access to the truck. The interior of the truck itself (where passengers sit) needs cleaning it also carried an odor.

My comments about my experience with Uhaul would take more room than you supply in this space. Needless to say I'm glad for competition. My next moving experience will NOT be with Uhaul.
