I returned my equipment on December 30th like my contract said too. They did not contact Uhaul saying I returned my equipment. I received and email 2 weeks later saying the equipment was never returned. After Uhaul reached out and got the confirmation I did return my equipment he said I returned it late. Which is not true at all and now I am being charged extra because of their incompetence.

The pick-up location was closed when I arrived at my scheduled pick-up appointment time with no employees present. I had to walk through the pick-up process over the phone with the owners of the establishment as they wouldn't be back for "another 30-45 minutes". Thankfully I have experience hooking up to trailers on my own or this could have been a very difficult and more unpleasant experience than it was.
The truck was full of cat hair and a foul smell. The tank also was not full.
