I received the truck with halftone of gas and more mileages that were recorded on the document. I received the truck with 65101 and recorded was 65083. This is not right. Now I am being charged for extra mileages. When I approached the attendant, it was OK to proceed and I won't be charged. Now it is different than what was said. I did not like it for being charged for what I did not use.

This was the first time I ever had a uhaul representative just point to where the trailers were and said, find yours and hook it up. There was no assistance, I'm glad that I'm a capable person. This is a dangerous practice that should be addressed.

Although I dropped the truck off at the required time and filled the tank to precisely where it had been when picked up and noted by Bob's on the contract, a notch above the half-way mark, the woman at Big Tows merely instructed me to put the key in the drop box, with the original contract, which I did. Apparently, there was no one at the location to verify the gas level or inspect the truck, or give me a final receipt. Since I had no choice but to leave the truck, I hoped they would be honest and send me a final tally receipt for the rental. Instead,, Big Tow sent me a statement via email, informing me I'd been charged an additional $10.60 cents to the total for gas, claiming the truck was below the line indicated, at precisely half a tank rather than a notch above, which was patently untrue. Since no one was there when I dropped the truck off, of course, I had and have no way to contest this charge. Additionally, I'd have liked to receive a full receipt of the entire cost (including the insurance I paid for), for tax purposes, but they sent no such receipt, only the statement of the added charge..

Rude liars I started with the Nanuet location you never gave me a real “but told me that the truck would only be available at Spring Valley location. When I went to pick it up they had added insurance I didn’t want and told me they were unable to remove it. They overcharged me I believe for the actual truck rental and then I learned that it’s normal for this time of year but the rudeness of William Clark the text messages he sent me or so rude I have a complaint them I will never use your company again and lied about storage telling me that it was only available in Asheville and finding out I could’ve used it anywhere - The stress I went through was unimaginable and the rudeness I encountered in the long waits on the telephone and the fact that their locations close at 5 o’clock when people are moving is just unbelievable to me- Boo U-Haul

Uhaul confirmed my reservation, but the location was actually close the day I picked up the truck. The other company at this location was able to process my rental. This would have been a disaster if I could not have gotten the truck that day!

I went online and reserved a cargo van. I picked up the Cargo Van at Big Tows in Spring Valley, NY. I wanted to reserve the van for 5 hours but the website online wasn't allowing me to type in 5 hrs and only accepted 1 hr for usage. I took the extra coverage. I got charged 19.95 + extra coverage for 5 hours, not the19.95 as advertised. My bill was about $80-$100 more based on all these additional charges that were never communicated to me. We picked up the van with 3/4 full gas tank. We dropped off the van with that exact same fuel tank level at 3/4 full. Big Tow charged us for 2 gallons of gas. The woman at Big Tow did not inform me that I would be charged per hour or that I needed to drop it off with a full tank. The only thing she told me was that I would be charged for mileage. We also reserved 2 dollies, which we had to go to the Nanuet U-haul location. Nanuet had no dollies available. The van was clean and in good condition but I don't think we'll ever rent u-haul again based on our above described experience. I don't recommend using U-haul. They have deceptive advertising and have no oversight for locations like Big Tows.

Only one… I chose the purchase of blankets but because the lady at the counter literally just handed me the keys and said “You can Go it’ll take too long to process the credit card for some reason It’s not working and I don’t want to hold you up”… As a result nobody inspected the vehicle with me and I didn’t notice that there were no blankets in the truck that I had ordered online. It turns out there were movers who let me borrow a few blankets at the location I was. So the only thing I would like is a $10 refund otherwise everything was perfect.

When we got there at 8:45 am for a 9am pickup we were told that the truck was not safe to drive and that someone from UHaul should have called us. No one called. The woman behind the counter called someone and then told us that it was just a bolt that needed to be fixed. How it went from unsafe to a bolt is beyond me. She said it would only take 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting over an hour. Also this location had the truck on Friday because someone called me to ask me why we hadn't picked it up because it was still there. That was another UHaul mistake. i had called and told the person on the 800 number that we needed to pick it up on Saturday instead of Friday and she supposedly changed that. So Big Tows had an "unsafe" truck from Friday knowing we were picking it up on Saturday and did not fix it before we showed up. Completely unacceptable.

Horrible horrible service. don't go near this location with a 1000 ft. pole unless you love being chased by a dog. When I returned the truck a few hours later than expected due to crazy traffic, they sent their dog after me. Had i not been near collapse from the horribly long way, i would have called police right there and then. If you care about our community, don't go to this location and let's show them ROCKLAND WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR!!

I chose that location because it was indicated that they had the cargo van that I wanted When I got the they didn't even know what they had to offer and do the didn't have the van they had a 10" truck I took that The truck was disgustingly dirty, had trash everywhere and even had an open container of alcohol in there Now imagine if we were pulled over we would have been in trouble big trouble with that open container So this was a horrible experience for me

When you pick up a trailer that not only has a flat tire but is also mounted on the wrong rim along with the wrong type of tire putting myself and my son at risk I get a little upset. Had to return trailer on emergency aid after it was loaded causing hours of delay to my day. The Roadside assistance company you sent to me did not have the tire or rim needed to repair the trailer good thing was I was within a few miles of the uhaul in nanuet and was able to change out trailers.

Discovered tire was losing air due to a nail puncture after had left Big Tows. It doesn't appear tires were properly inspected. Had to wait approximately 1 1/2 for roadside assistance. Customer service (Jill) in Phoenix was helpful with this matter.

UHaul changed the pickup location and time without informing us specifically that these had been changed, Needless to say I was incredibly unhappy when I went to my originally booked location and discovered I had to go to a new location. Once I arrived at the new location I found out that my truck rental would not be there until 12:00 when I had planned to start at 10:00. This set back my whole day and I was incredibly unhappy with the lack of communication to inform us of this important and vital information. As a first time customer I was unimpressed with the service.

I rented a 5x9 trailer. Once I got to my moving location and loaded the trailer we ended up with a flat tire on the trailer because there was zero pressure. We had a portable pump with us but it wasn't strong enough so we had to unload the trailer so that the tire would fill. And then reload it. Which added about 2 hours to my nite. So I was not happy.

They lied about the amount of fuel I returned the vehicle with (I returned it with more fuel then I picked it up with), which resulted on a charge for gas. I had to call and ask for the charge to be reversed. Terrible. Not going back. There's a better Uhaul on RT.59

there they made a price and they said they wouldn't take it out until you return the truck you made one price and then you made it even more money afterwards you took the money out way before so no I would not recommend use again and I would not use you ever again I'm disappointed I've been using you for years this time I will not against I paid a high price which was not what was supposed to be you have people there that don't know what they're doing, and that's wants it's all about , so again I will not recommend anybody and I will not do business with you ever again I paid a price out a lot of money,

Customer Service was very good at this site. However, the individual writing up the required documentation was not familiar with what needed to be done. I reserved a 6X12 Cargo trailer and they initially wrote up the order for a much smaller trailer. They had to rewrite the order. Today I had to contact the U-Haul billing group because I was overcharged by 1 day for the rental. I am expecting a credit in 4-5 days. To reiterate, good customer service, but needs more training on the U-Haul reservation and billing system.

There were mechanics in the yard but offered no help. And then I get a blow out. Maybe if trailer was properly checked I maybe would not have had a blowout

I returned the truck using the 24 hour drop off. it was not checked in until close to a week later and showed that I did not return it until then and my credit card was charged for all that overage when in reality I returned it within 12 hours of renting it. The main Uhaul number won't even refund me the money. I have to wait for a manger to call me!! what kind of business is this??

The personnel were very nice and made it easy to rent a moving truck-our first experience in doing so. The only thing I would point out is that the sticker x's on the truck indicated that the damage was already reported. Keep doing what you are doing-the process went very smoothly.

you should be able to drop the trucks at the other location in Nanuet New York on route 59 without a service charge.. its only 10 minutes away but it's a big difference in where the location is for local transportation.

Our reservation was confirmed for 8 am. When we arrived the office was closed. A staff member did not show up to open the store until after 8:30. When we returned the truck in the afternoon; there again was no staff member present. This was a horrible U-Haul experience due to lack of all customer service.

My trailer was due at 2:30pm. I called at 1pm and dropped it off by about 1:30pm. I was told I didn't need to sign anything, and I would be emailed a receipt. The emailed receipt shows that the trailer was returned at 3:30pm and therefore I was charged for an extra day of rental. Obviously I am going to dispute this charge.

I had rented a tow trailer and I have never installed one before so I had asked the guys there to install it after a while of asking they finally did it and then when I got to my location to pick up a car I had found out the trailer was not properly installed and the trailer had can dis attached from my truck causing damage to my truck I have to say this was one of the worst experiences I have had with a rental company
