DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!! I selected that I DID NOT need a DOLLY or any other furniture when I reserved the truck. There was no one at the office to assist, and a multitude of perturbed customers that could not get assistance in the parking lot. Of course we all know that prior to leaving with the rental truck there is a list that you need go over/check off of damages that may already be done, and gas, mileage, etc. I returned the truck on time, and with a full tank of gas stilI. A couple days later, I received ANOTHER statement showing an additional charge of $107 once I returned the truck, for a dolly that was never on the truck to begin with (four witnesses to prove). I submitted a concern to Uhaul, and then had Wanda Fary calling me stating that I needed to return the dolly. I asked Ms. Wanda if the dolly could have been left with the last renter? She stated no. I asked if she personally checks each truck once returned, and she stated yes. I am a very loyal and honest person with strong faith and did not appreciate being accused of not returning something when borrowed. Ms. Wanda and I both have long histories of family businesses in the area (my father owned a local grocery store and helped many in the community). I explained this to the Uhaul. Ms. Wanda Fary was extremely rude! She stated that if I had a concern, that I needed to call Customer Service! When I submitted my concern, the Uhaul area manager stated they spoke to Ms. Wanda, and "SHE SAID THERE WAS A DOLLY ON THE TRUCK"!? So apparently now. . It's s her word against mine. The way that I see this now. . It's a conspiracy! We have an old family business that people in town once respected, that they turned into a Uhaul rental location. Ms. Fary can set up their (whenever she decides to show) and tack on anything she wants to your rental. . And the Uhaul manager is going to back her up! I am not done with my case. I will continue to stand by what is right and fight for what I believe is mine and hope that no one else will become subject to the same issues. I will sign my name- Kelly "Spence" Moore

THE 24/7 SUCKS...I COULD NOT GET ON LINE BECAUSE YOU ID NOT RECOGNIZEE MY PASSWORD,WHICH I HAD SET UP AND TESTED 4 OR 5 TIMES BEFORE GOING. NOT EVERYONE IS TECH SAVY TO BE ABLE TO USE THEIR PHONE FOR THIS(I'M ONE). SO IT'S A WASTE OF MY TIME TO TRY THIS....MANY THANKS TO THE LADY THERE FOR HELPING ME TO RENT THE TRUCK....

My reservation was cancelled. The employee was rude and the company associated with uhaul, Movinghelpers.com has been a HUGE disappointment. I do not know that I will ever rent from Uhaul again and I will never use moving services associated with Uhaul.

Easy rental using my phone, never had to contact an individual. The straightforward process worked out very well for us.

The moving blankets were missing in our rental. We had at pick up time of 9am and it took until after 9:30am to get through the approval process. I would suggest having customers go through the process ahead of time. Finally, the customer service representative that called my wife to confirm for approval was rude only asking if it was her and once my wife said yes she hung up.

The mobile check in and check out process was time consuming (20 minutes each) and sometimes complicated when the mobile system would not accept alternate phone numbers and stop the check in process. The person in the room kept telling me to follow the directions on the paper which was NOT clear or concise, and if you have problems, call the 1-800 number for help. UNACCEPTABLE. Finally, after 20 minutes of frustration, she helped me check in. Never again at this location.

Better assistance or explanations on how to ensure your phone can properly work with U-Haul for the truck share. Although the location was allegedly closed, they were present and I found Wanda Fary to be rude. Her customer service skills need tremendous work.

Worst experience ever. Vehicle was dirty and service was incredibly rude. The truck ran so rough that I was carsick within 5 miles. Returned the truck to cancel the rental and was still charged even though I returned the truck without using it for the intended purpose at all. Worst customer service experience ever, will never again use this location or this company.

Bill Fary Ford in Gloucester, Va. was my drop off location and they were just as great as always. They are also the location for the Va. State required annual vehicle inspection that my family uses.

truck did not run very well..shifting was poor and cab space was not designed for someone with long legs. no discount for 1 day local like some competitors offer..a bit pricey for local use for one day and 100 miles.

This location was terrific. Before we could get out of the truck a lady was out there looking over the truck. Once we stepped out she looked at gas and mileage and said thank you hope you had a great experience.

Ms. Wanda was very knowledgeable and helpful. This was our 1st time and she answered all my questions like where to put the gas and how much air was needed in the tires. We had to look up in the owners manual on how to use the "cruise control." But, is was a very comfortable ride over two days of driving. We would hire you again. Rick & Ruby of Gloucester Point, VA.

The truck worked fine mechanically but it was dirty. Evidently during a previous rental the occupants had some type of animal inside that left hair everywhere and animal prints/spit on the window/door of the passenger side. In between that and the smell of cigarette smoke it was barely tolerable. It seemed no attempt had been made to clean the vehicle. The condition was mentioned at return of truck. The rental fee was fair and no problems with the on-line process or the mileage cost.

I use U Haul for my company. It is not uncommon for me to rent a truck 10 to 12 times a year. I see you have raised prices for weekend (Friday thru Sunday) . I'm not happy about this!!!

I have considered buying a small trailer myself, but for the price and convenience (this location is about 1 mile from my residence), my occasional local hauling needs are well served by your system. I am giving a good rating here for Fary Auto who fixed your horrible issues with self dispatch. We were on a strict timeline and spent 20 minutes in the rain trying to get the validation done. The people at Fary Auto fixed the issue but only after I was on hold forever and no one responding on chat. I should have used Penske like I had in the past. I will be leaving a one star review for Uhaul on Google and four stars for Fary Auto for saving the day.

The driver's side door was hard to close. It had to be really slammed. The salesman did not tell me about this nor did she explain the damages to the truck body. I had to go back into the office twice to address the above issues. She acted annoyed with me.
