Rude manager, when there was an error in mileage he didn't respond to Uhauls email and refused to talk over the phone to reach a solution. A solution was eventually reached when upper management at U-haul stepped in. I would never rent from this location ever again, nor would I recommend this to anyone.

U-haul was good but they recommended MovingHelp to move a piano to the trailer. First quote was $384 and after they were done with only one hour of work, they charged me close to $1000. When arrived to Colorado, the piano flipped on its back with some minor damage.. When I talked to them, they called me a liar and the supervisor was supposed to call me back and never did.

The old man barely spoke English He wasn't friendly or helpful He added on an extra charge for safetow while I was outside...he made me write down 3 ppls names and cell numbers on a piece of paper..which was weird..and didn't tell me why..He said all the chargers were automatic and didn't try to explain why the cost was so much higher than the online quote..He pointed to the trailer and didn't help me hook it up or make sure the lights worked or was hooked up properly..I didn't like him at all or the pickup experience at his establishment

Our pick up time was scheduled for 5:30 - in my reservation email it said we could pick up any time after 4:30 - we arrived at 5:15 to pick up and was greeted by the wife of the Owen of the establishment- she could not speak English but was able to get out of her that her husband was gone and she didn’t know when he would be back - we had to wait until 5:50 before he arrived and then he wasn’t too concerned that we had to wait or that he was late - this then mad us late for other appointments we had that evening - very poor customer service - would NOT recommend that as a pick up site ever again!

Didn't receive a receipt and the worker didn't seem to know what they were doing. Didn't speak Engish well, couldn't understand him. Uhaul had to call me later to obtain my information and get my DL #, which I had already given to the guy at the pick-up site.

After we do the I haul online I went in to drop the keys off and I had to rewrite everything down and check in with the guy behind the counter . So why do it twice?

Easy to park in. Hotel was clean and easy to find assistance. Super polite and helpful. Even offered us coffee and breakfast. Sent email for check in right away. Not was I was expecting at all, but much better. I would use this location in the future.

Re-set the “check engine” light, confirm before renting that the windshield washer fluid works on drivers’ side of windshield.

The service was very good. A little hard to understand at times but was a very nice man and very helpful.

Make sure the trailer isn't half frozen in ice When someone comes to pick it up. I had to borrow a hammer from the Motel keeper to break the ice holding the chains and plug.

Equipment was stuck in snow and ice. The person there didn't have any of the equipment ready for us. It took 45 minutes for me to dig it out. The only thing he did for us was watch out his window. Needless to say I will never go through this place again. Will not recommend this place.

Make sure they are told the drop off location could be in a different town than the one they're moving to. Or just let the customer drop it off in the town they're moving to.

This location was not what I was shown online, it was a secondary location out of the way. The person there while polite did not seem to know what was going on and quoted me the wrong price and charged another. He was also unwilling to accept cash for my uhaul which was an option given online. Not only was this miles out of my way but the entire proccess put us hours behind in schedule for when people were available to help us move. I would not recommend this uhaul location to anyone. Uhaul needs to find a better secondary location if they are going to make reservations and then change them. I have used Uhaul, penske, and Budget in the past and never had this many issues. Need to fulfill promises made online. Online price was guaranteed yet still had extra fees that were not quoted. thats not including the extra 100 the clerk tried to charge and could only tell me "I have to do what the computer says .. i can't change it" I even tried to call the Uhaul area manager and could not get through. Overall it was not a good experience.

Person at hotel was not familiar with computer checkout. No help at all with trailer hookup. Person was very nice but did not know about Uhaul process or equipment.

Mr. Patel did all he could to get me a replacement auto transport. He was not efficient with the computer and did not know how to hook the transport up. His boss, Devin, belittled him over the phone and to me. I understand he was frustrated but that is not how you treat people.

The online options might use some quality check. From reserving a trailer and checkingf it out, I had to load address and credit card information muliple times. I almost quit and was about to switch to another vendor.

we were originally supposed to get this trailer from the Sioux Falls location where the confirmation email said it was guaranteed to be there when we went to pick it up and when we got there they said they only had one auto trailer in del rapids...? And no one working could pick it up and bring it to the Sioux Falls location... so we ended up making the time in our already busy schedules (since it was moving day) to drive to del rapids in a storm... yeah it's a half hour drive but picking up the trailer was also another half hour and none of the prices we were quoted for the trailer and the truck was the price we ended up paying... I felt like they didn't really care about our time.. they gave us a 40 dollar credit for the trip to del rapids but that was an hour we could have spent saying goodbye to our families and also packing since we were leaving right away the next morning to move across the country... didn't appreciate the added stress when it could have been avoided by just having the equipment at the correct location that we reserved a month in advance... also the dolly we rented wasn't even in the truck so that was another trip back to the Sioux Falls location we had to make to pick it up when they said it was in the back of the truck...
