Went to this location without reserving online but they get me the truck without any problem, was in and out of there within 10min, owner is very friendly and welcoming, will do business again

It was a gas station that also rents uhauls, nothing special. Guy was helpful but I had a hard time understanding him.

We rented a truck at this location and gas tank was on E. At time of drop off we were charged for fuel but there literally was no gas when we picked it up. Please do better with keeping track of fuel and mileage on trucks

This was a corner store and I thought I've seen seen everything weird in Austin this takes the cake.

Location was in a sketchy-looking convenience store and wasn't well labeled, barely could find the place due to a lack of U-Haul signage. My parents and I felt very unsafe there. Specifically requested a different pickup location when I submitted my order, got a confirmation email saying I would pickup at that requested location, but when I went to pick up, they sent me to this location instead. Inconvenient, unsafe, and very poor experience. Only positive was the customer service at the location was decent and not horrible.

The gentleman that checked out and in the equipment made us hookup the trailer to the truck and then park the trailer and truck for him. This is something we've never experienced before at other locations.

The pick up location was in an economically depressed area. There were numerous indigent people loitering in the area. The clerk who checked me out was not helpful and did not walk me to the vehicle. I felt unsafe the entire time I was there and honestly was concerned about opening the truck bay area when I arrived at my son's apartment for fear I would find homeless people inside.

There was a check engine light, the Cala converter was cut off so the thing sounds like a jet engine I felt a completely unsafe through the whole time I really would like a refund thank you

The attendant at the register was the key to this experience. He was ready for me, even though I was late. He had everything prepared and was very helpful and patient. The only criticism I have is that there was a lot of animal hair in the cab. My spouse is allergic to animal hair and dander. It would have been better if someone had vacuumed that.

All was great. The guys who worked at the store were nice, friendly and quick. The truck was clean, had a full tank of gas and drove well. Returning was also easy. Plus, uber-convenient to hopping on 183 from this location. For those reviewers who complained about the location and called it sketchy. Please.....

I stated no above, because the equipment was a bit dirty on inside and in back. Service was good enough. So net/net, not too bad.

This location is in a small corner store/ shady area at night so come in daytime, however the employee here was awesome!!! He was leaps and bounds above the employees at the UT I35 airport location: those guys were the worst, I'll never go back there! My experience there was too much to type here. I was lied to a couple times and dismissed, discouraged from trying to get a truck that same day. Which I did get at the blue diamond a couple miles away for my needs!

The employee did not help me unhitch the uhaul trailer. They pointed on a screen and said that I should just park it close enough to a certain trailer. No one was even outside watching me unhitching.

Very unsafe area. Plus, there is no parking space. I highly recommend not to keep Uhaul in this place for significant safety concerns. Thanks

We dropped off the trailer after dark. Frightening location. An unleashed pit bull was roaming the lot. Approximately a dozen or so assumed gang members were loitering outside and inside the store. My family called the phone number multiple times to get someone to meet us outside so we didn't have to enter the store or exit our vehicles and it was difficult to reach anyone. When we did, there was a language barrier. I had my phone ready to call 911 just in case. I will never use this drop off location again.

I was originally scheduled to pickup my equipment at another location and uhaul change it to this small market. The owner was helpful, but had his hands full trying to run the store and rent uhaul equipment in the morning.

This drop off location was in the worst part of town with people who were not helpful and could not speak English. Police were speeding by during the middle of the day and I was there with my 6 year old child and men on the street blasting inappropriate music. I was in fear for my life and couldn't get out of there quick enough.

This is not a Uhaul, this is a gas station. The staff person was friendly and did a great job helping hook up the trailer and add a driver to our reservation. But, he was not wearing a mask and we had to come into the gas station to pickup. I had originally selected a location closer to me and I wish I had been able to pickup there.

If there was a sign on the building or by the U-Hauls that would be really helpful. I was pretty lost when I got there---I didn't know I had to go inside at first.

Cab was clean but box was dirty, had empty bottles and plastic ties tied on the. Rails , there probably used for tying off sections from the last rentals cargo. Neighborhood was a bit shady as were the people who came in the store. Clerk was very helpful but spoke nearly no English, but he did help us as best he could, but he had to try and wait on customers for cigarettes, beer and food. But the truck was drivable and ready to go. and took about 20 - 30 minutes to check in.

It was convenient. I would like to say, and don't know where else to submit this, but I had reserved a uhaul storage unit in Austin Tx on Ben white blvd with my truck rental and when I got there they were “over booked” and could not accommodate despite my reservation, and my being able to book a second reservation in the store in front of the clerk. So not only did I have to find a completely different storage facility, leave my movers waiting while I figured that out last minute, I also had to pay for a new storage unit outright when a months storage is included with a $3000 truck rental.

The owner was helpful getting me hooked up to the trailer and verifying lights were working. This location is near home and I was in and out in a jiffy.

As soon as I parked, I had a lady come up to my truck asking for money. It's ran out of a small gas station that looks like you better watch your back. Only one trailer was available. I don't think they should have this place for uhaul rental

This is for the original pickup location not Blue Diamond. My reservation was changed a day before because my selected location did not have the equipment i reserved. The new location i was given for pickup did not have any trucks available and no one present to talk to. The day of my move I had to settle for a smaller truck that was further away, so a 3 hour move turned into a 10 hour move requiring two trips.

Drop off location was in a bad part of town and hard to get to. The location was not well marked and clerk was not interested in helping much.

One of the tires on the trailer had low tread and ended up blowing out on the road. It took 3 hours to get it replaced. I had the person at uhaul help secure the car to the trailer since I had never done the before, when I turned the trailer in in Denver they were shocked that the person did not secure the car with the chains. Basically it was an extremely unsafe and potentially dangerous situation. I would like to have someone call me to discuss. 303-324-5744. Jim

The store is a small convenience store that does not appear to be a uhaul at all. The area is not safe feeling and while I was there several aggressive and antagonistic people came in and were yelling about purchases of cigarettes and other items - totally unrelated to uhaul services. It was just a weird and off brand experience and was not great.

Trailer was given to me with a faulty safety latch for the hitch. While I was on the highway the trailer came off the hitch and the trailer started fishtailing. Almost crashed. Roadside assistance had to change the safety latch ... Horrible experience

Was charged more for 5 extra hours than 24 hour rental. Attendant lazy and refused to go outside to check truck. Items from last renter in truck and truck received on 1/4 tank. Will be cancelling my futher reservation.

The person at the counter was helpful and able to get the truck checked in appropriately. I did not feel safe at the location, but was unable to do a 24/7 drop off at any other location. Unsure why since I've done it before.

This was the scariest experience. It's at a gas station where i did not feel safe at all to the point I had a panic attack. We were interrupted service to help other customers so they could buy lotto tickets and cigarettes in the middle of our transaction. DO NOT GO HERE.

The hand truck was broken and dirty,...but the bigger issue was U-Haul calling the day before to tell us that the 26ft truck we had reserved really was not reserved and we would have to drive two hours to get one. Now we have to rent a second truck to make this move work. HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTED with U-Haul. They did NOTHING to help us. They were in CYA mode.
