The location itself was great. But the mobile checkout needs improvement. I should have been told to bring extra ID, contact info etc in order to facilitate the mobile pickup. I thought I had submitted all the necessary information online and simply had to show up etc. Fortunately, the location was still open and the guy was really great.Brian W.

Told me on the day I would have to do online pickup when I had wanted to do it in person during there business hours, then they never scheduled it even though they called me and said everything was fine to pick up, waited a hour and a half on hold which caused me to have to drive a lot more then I had intended. Costing me more money, I have a complaint filled # 3437322. Worst experience ever and I expect something to be done about this, I was under the impression uhaul was a trusted company with trusted partners but it doesn't look that way from my experience and the google reviews of this pick-up/drop off locationRyan C.

The location that I picked up the van is weird, the first thing that greeted me at the outside steps of the location was dog poop by the entrance. It was drying up meaning it had been there for a while. The office to the location was just pure filth. I understand that the vendor is not fully employed by uhaul but please Uhaul give business to people with standards.TINASHE M.

The gentleman at this location was very kind and thorough, unlike my past experiences with Uhaul.Christine S.
To start with, a fee of 0,75 a kilometer was quoted and we know that the cost was actually, .79. The vehicle was filthy, from the marijuana and stale beer aroma, to the moldy peach pit beside the drivers seat, cat hair on seats and a steering wheel so sticky the my hands noisily peeled off of it This represents UHaul and when required, as such I will deal with another organization. The trucks passenger side mirror was seazed causing me to not be able to see that side of the truck. The mirror was taped in with clear tape and when I tried to adjust the mirror it cracked. That's when I noticed it was seazed.Patrick M.
Online service needs to improve website as it continuously crashed taking photos at every step of the process. When calling 1-800 number for customer assistance, was left on hold for 20min and therefore gave up. I returned trailer Sunday March 15 morning before 09:30 hrs. This morning March 16, Bob Pigott called me and rather indignantly told me I had not returned â€œhis trailerâ€ . I informed Bob that I had returned the trailer and it was on the south side of his lot near the highway. Bob looked outside his window and saw the trailer. I was not pleasedRob H.

The only complaint we have would be the mileage cost you charge. When your having to travel a total distance of 170 Km, or 107 Miles this adds a big extra amount, $ 118,77 for mileage onto what sounds like a great price your getting for a 10 ft. truck at just $ 19,95 per day. So $1,11 a mile or 0,69 cents per km to us seems pretty steep to charge. So total charge for a 2 day rental was $ 215.46. So we will be thinking twice before renting from you again in the future.WAYNE W.
I lived in Markham which is a large population hub and I had to drive 40 minutes north to pick up my rental. Was not convenient at all considering I was notified the night before. All said and done the location I picked up from was great and everything worked out perfectly. Customer service in Markham and Peterborough were top notch.Thomas P.

My daughter experienced a similar situation on Friday June 27th when she moved using U-Haul. She also had booked a 26' truck and ended up with a 14' truck. Not only that; she could only have the truck for 8 hours instead of 24 and got charged the same as if she had the truck for a full day. She had to re-arrange all of her moving help as they were to help her on the Saturday she booked the truck for but the truck was only available on Friday night. She also ended up moving all night long causing problems with her new neighbors and landlord. SHE ALSO HAS ADVISED HER FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBOURS OF HER U-HAUL EXPERIENCE AND STRONGLY ADVISED THEM TO USE SOME OTHER COMPANY IF THEY NEEDED A TRUCK.KATHERINE B.
