We had great luck with Bob and our uhaul we rented for the day. I had a hiccup when checking in online and Bob came right out to help me and make the process smooth for me! We will definitely use his services again!
I was threatened to bring the 10ft uhaul back or else he “bob†would call the police? I was paying for it and told him I would probably have it a full two days and wasn't sure how many miles I would need. I've used u haul many time and bob acted like I was using his own vehicle he is very stubborn and not to outgoing. Uhaul is great though and pretty affordable if your not going more than 50 miles
Great customer service.
Working with Bob was great. My problems were more with the website. I had multiple failures trying to track my reservation using the website. Bob stepped in and with me on the phone overrode some of the issues.
I booked a truck in one location and was later told it was unavailable. I had to accommodate uhaul by going to the location of their choosing even thought I supposedly had a reservation. I originally booked the truck in downtown Albany. I was told I had to go to west sand lake.

Bob was fantastic! He was very easy to communicate and get in touch with. He has a very small shop and you get to deal with him directly. The truck was really clean and practically brand new. We would recommend him again over any of the corporate sites. We will be back again!

It was such an easy process. The Owner of the was with and had us laughing the whole time. He's a great guy and a pleasure to rent from. He even came out to make sure the trailer was connected properly before we left. Great guy, great service. Will definitely go again!
I reserved my trailer online. Shortly after I received a call trying change my reservto downtown Albany. The reason I chose my location was for ease and convenience. Also I want to support small business. I was disappointed that uhaul was trying to change my location.
Super easy check in and drop off
Some sort of navigation system in the truck that was equipped to know what roads one can/cannot drive on would be nice.. Most GPS systems don't have this ability and driving around NYC w/o that crucial piece of information in your GPS is ... challenging..
Bob wasn't in on the Sunday AM of my truck return, but the lot had a clear parking space waiting for me right up front. I met Bob a few days prior on rental #1 of 2 and he was very courtiers and down to earth, a nice touch when renting from a national company - Thanks Bob & U-Haul for great sevice!

Bob was great. He was very insightful when he recommended a one way rental and discussed the pros and cons. I am so glad listened because I drove through almost three hours of an intense snow storm. I was so thankful I didn't have a trailer behind me. Plus, what I saved on gas nearly covered the extra one way fee. Lastly, I didn't have to listen to a empty trailer clunking my 12 hr trip. I would recommend Bob.

Allow more customers to utilize this location. He was fantastic to work with. Polite, helpful and understanding, unlike the people who called me and told me I could not use his facility. That woman didn't have an empathetic bone in her body!!!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Bob - he is simply the best and the ultimate professional. I wish Bob owned more businesses as we need more business owners like him. Leaving his immaculately maintained facility, I locked my keys in my car and pretty much shut down and gave up and within 10 minutes he had figured out how to get the keys out and did it. Bob to the rescue! I do not hesitate to use or recommend Bob for future jobs, etc. A stellar addition to the U-Haul experience.
improve? nothing. this was a perfect rental experience. clean, almost brand new, well-maintained, easy to operate vehicle. the site operator was knowledgeable and experienced. he kept simple simple, and I would rent from him again in a heartbeat. well done.
Bob is friendly, and his shop is just pleasant to be in. He takes great pride in keeping clean equipment ready for his neighborhood to use. It's a wonderful small-town rental space, with the amenities of 24hr rental, off-hour pick-up and drop-off, and easy ability to safely pull out onto the road with the traffic light nearby. I would highly recommend Bob's for anyone needing a UHaul.

I was not happy that I called to see if we could keep truck longer as we did not expect to be back by 1. I call she veriftrick was not being rented again. But would be $39 to extend to 3-4 pm. I was advised truck cost $19.95 then .79 a mile and gas that is it. So why the extra charge to be longer?!!
After booking online I received A phone call that the place didn't have what I was Looking for. They then informed me I would Have to go to another location and get one bigger and more expensive. I wasnt Happy. Bob was great. The system was down so it took a long time to get everything done. Again, Bob was awesome but uhaul should really fix their computer system.
Bob's Rental is a great business and a great place to rent a U-Haul. I hope he continues to have rental vans. His location, attention to detail and his concern for customers are outstanding and burnish the image of U-Haul.
