Best Uhaul pickup experience i've ever had.

JAMES TGentleman was very friendly and helpful. Equipment was in great shape.
JAMES TI went the Poughkeepsie ny u-haul location on rt 9. They didn't have a 6x12 trailer in stock.The clerk took my information and told me that u-haul would contact me the next day to tell me where I could get one. I waited two days, no one ever called. I found one on my own. Perhaps u-hauls customer service could improve their service by following up with their customers in a timely manner.
harold fI was charged for 3 days. I took the vehicle on a Friday 4:00 pm 10/4/2024 and returned it on Sunday morning 11/10/06/2024. This should be a two-day charger, not three days. Also, I was charged $20 for an afterhours fee. Why, no one was there attending to me at anytime after hours?? Please refund one day and the after hours fee as I feel both are inappropriate. I drove from Bogart U-Haul to Polo Collision Inc on Riverdale Ave, Yonkers NY. Other than the overcharges, the service and vehicle were excellent. My cell phone number is 845-891-1052. DENNIS JFront window was dirty along with the passenger side door panel. Other than that the truck ran very well! Overall good experience.
ANDREW SNo one was at the shop at 8am when they opened and I had difficulty using mobile app. Also, the van smelled of mildew. I had to buy a can of lysol and use half of the can and drive with the windows open on a 90 degree day to mitigate the horrid smell. Also, duck and hair the dash.

Neil PMake sure the truck is clean. If you charged the $25 fee from the previous renter, I must get the money then. Because I had to sweep and mop the truck before starting to load it. It had some mud on it. The was coffee spilled on the cabin and the floor was dirty as well.

William KI want to start by saying this was not the locations fault at all, and I would use them in the future. I use UHAUL 5 times per year to help with store my product at a large flea market. I was supposed to pick up a 15' truck from a different location Friday night. When I got there it was unavailable. A representative helped me find a replacement which ended up being a 9' cargo van (NOT big enough for what I needed), but would had to do because we needed something. This wasn't available for pickup until 8 am on Saturday. I leave for my event at 6am. My husband had to leave the event and pick it up. The dealer had no information about us picking it up. It hadn't been looked over or anything. The cargo area was disgusting and full of dirt and leaves along with a dirty blanket. I had to sweep it out before I could utilize it. The whole experience was a headache and really messed up the weekend. The charge for a SMALLER vehicle for LESS time was more than I ever pay. I would like someone from Uhaul to call and discuss this matter. Again, this is NOT the locations fault at all.

ROBERT BI ordered pads and none were provided. I gassed up before dropping off and somehow tank ended up less than 1/8 below where I started and was charged 27,5 I was charged a late return fee for overnight drop despite returning 15 h before it was due. I would not recommend this location.

Matt SI reserved truck ,omitted the safe move,as not needed where. I was going. Got charged anyway strike one I picked up for for 10 hour rental at 8:30am. Dropped off at 5:00 pm same day, put keys in hand of employee who was too busy to check me in but said thanks I was charged a 20 dollar after hours fee despite the operations hours being 8 to 5 Strike 2 The truck was returned entirely empty and as I received it, no debris of any kind . No dirt Nothing. Owner charged me 45 dollars and said it was standard practice. Strike. 3 When I called him he pretended that someone else cleaned it and charged that. And. I would h a very to call u haul to sort it out. I tried that and got a 2 hour hold time. With call back option. Still waiting for call back,,, I called owner back to tell him that. And asked if truck still there,so. I could see what condition allegedly was. He said yes, so. I asked if uhaul sends someone out to clean it, he said yeah, . I asked who, and he admitted it was him Upon which. I told him that I know the truck was empty on return. I have been doing rentals for 40 years and never had an issue. He hung up on me I think it's a scam to generate more income for him And would never recommend this location. I intend to dispute through my credit card company if. U haul doesn't make it right

Carlos GOwner claims he never rented a uhaul, therefore his answers to my questions were very vague. I got charged an additional $20 because no one told me to check in on line when I returned the truck. I scrubbed it clean and filled with gas, and returned within 24 hours. I needed it to go 5 Miles!, yet it still cost me $60

Ronald P2 minutes agoNEW Do not use!!!!My husband rented a van on Friday, the owner was nice an said bring it back on Monday. We didnt need the van anymore, on Saturday we looked up what time they close 4pm. We went to drop off the van 12 pm they were closed. Okay so Monday comes we return the van and then notice an extra charge for $92.00. We brought the van back 10am he said Monday morning. Now wants to charge extra Plus the van costed $200 would never do business here again. If you wanna waste your money this is the place to come. Sad were locals too for over 35 years. I will tell our community stay away.
DANIEL BYour app sucks and doesn't work. Always errors with the photo taking and uploading. I was stuck 30 minutes trying to take a pic of the milage. I use 2 phones. I had to go through your mobile site instead.

Kevin DMake sure that your pick up and drop off works properly. Hire more customer service reps. I should not have to wait 30 minutes to speak with someone for help with my rental.

THOMAS RStop adding bullshit fees. Shop is only open from 8 am - noon on Saturday and NOT open on Sunday. I picked up at 8:15 am (because the owner was late) on Saturday. I rented the trailer for 24 hours. I returned it 11 hours later at 7:15PM Saturday. I was charged a $20 fee for returning it after-hours. Tell me, when the fuck was I supposed to return it - when the shop opened on Monday or 3 ½ hours after I rented it? This fee is bullshit.

John RMy biggest issue was with the app. All the pics I had to take just to get out of there and tour system wouldn't accept them. Wasted over 30 minutes of my time and then overcharged me.

APRILN TThe mobile return process requires to many steps I returned my rental late in the night, the drop off location was very dark and taking several pictures to add before return was very frustrating. Dwana BEverything was perfect except when I returned the truck nobody was there. On their schedule it was posted 7:am to 12:pm, and we got there by 11:30am. If someone would be there to return the truck, it will be nice.

Bogart's will clearly be my first and only choice for my frequent "Local" daily U-Haul equipment rentals from now on. Thanks to Bogart's for making this a breeze!!! I am delighted to do business with them.

DANIELLEMARIE ZVery disappointed in this trailer the latching devices were frozen and took an hour with oil to break free. Plus obvious breaks in the welds were the tirds go . Very unsafe trailer .
