Buck's Rental (Jill) was great. She was very patient trying to deal with U-Haul's customer service. They (three different people) could not get the contract right in the system. Then, I had to call U-Haul, customer service was TERRIBLE. Guy sounded like he just wanted to go home. Lazy, not knowledgeable, no interest in my call.

I found out halfway to destination that there was no license plate on the trailer. Fortunately no related issue developed.

The trailers lack a jack. I had to use my truck while I was loading the trailer. Once loaded, I had to use a jack to pick up the tongue.

The truck was never swept from last move,I have photos. I had to go get the check in lady to show her a few areas of unmarked damage to truck. She did come out to truck and mark up the damage. I took lots of photos before I started the truck.

Have the truck available at the location I wanted. Traveling an extra 50 miles was incredibly inconvenient. The dolly I requested was not available and made our move far more difficult than necessary. In other words, give your customer what was ordered. The people at buck's were great btw. There were several people ahead of me and that wait was understandable but not appreciated.

Placed an order and paid movers through Uhaul but the movers never showed up. What was I supposed to do with the truck if there is no one loading the goods? Waste of time and money. Perhaps UHaul can better contract with reliable movers.

People at this location outstanding, prices for rental are way to high. Cost over 400,00 $ for a one way trip that was 316 miles, I returned truck with full tank of gas in 2 days, so total was almost 500,00 $. I could have bought a truck and paid a full month's payment with that.

We asked for a 10 foot truck but got a 15. Also there was no equipment like ropes and blankets Also, the trucks really need updating with USB ports and electric windows

Have the vehicle at the location it was reserved at 2 months prior. Don't call a customer less then 24 hours before the pickup to tell them they need to travel 30 miles to pickup the reservation. Regional Sales Manager "Matt" was condescending and sarcastic.. Absolutely NO discount for the inconvenience. Have a license plate on the vehicle I had to travel to pickup, which was apparently dropped off the night before with no tags, or according to Matt, it was stolen? Waited an additional hour to get another truck, of which was already reserved but was told....and I quote "screw them." Extremely poor customer service except for the initial reservation made. Excuse after excuse....never once offered any discount for fuel or mileage....oh wait...was given and additional 25 miles. Truck was absolutely deplorable. I could continue but what's the point, I'm sure it was my fault, because according to Matt, I'm not the only one renting a truck 2 months in advance, interesting managerial skills.

Either wrote the mileage down wrong, or gave me the wrong truck. According to drop off location, start mileage was 1700 and change, but the mileage at the end was 42 000 and change.

The trailer had no Jack or stand. The staff handed me a bunch of papers and said “good luck”. How about basic customer service? Even if you refuse to provide basic tools and don't want lift the trailer with me, you could have at least helped waive me back to line up the hitch. It was a really poor service experience and I will never return or recommend. I would drive you to another service station or town before using bucks again.

Make the hidden 1 $environmental fee optional or include it in your rate upfront and don't mention why your rates are a dollar higher then, just charge it. (so instead of 19,95 $ rate it would be 20,95 $ or 5 % more)...it would just be more honest and fair to your customers and not leave them with this dirty feeling like they were forced and tricked into paying for something extra. Adding an environmental "fee" after a decision to purchase has already been made seems unethical, forcing others to pay for your environmentalism. If you are going to charge others for your environmentalism it should at least be optional to the customer or if you insist, then it should be clearly part of your advertised rates up front. It's actually disgusting your company forcing me to pay for your environmental activism at the end of a transaction, even if just 1 $...We do notice what you are forcing and there is enough annoying extra government "fees" already on rentals without your company adding even more. You should know this irritates people.

The steering wheel was soiled and there was a pair underwear in floor console and they did not have the appliance hand truck that I had ordered so I had to drive to a rental store to rent one. Penske here I come!

The initial information listed $.89 per mile; the contract increased that charge to 1,39 $. Why would you list the lower price when you charge so much more? I feel cheated.

More selection of trailers are all locations. Couldn't find a smaller enclosed trailer within an 80 mile range and paid double for a bigger one.

There was a lot of confusion with ordering a U-Haul due to the covid-19 many places weren't open. I ordered a hand card and didn't get it. It seemed a bit expensive but it did the job.

The UHAUL app did not work in order to complete the return. In addition, the email and text hyperlinks did not work either. No fault of the location at all. Please fix the gliches with the app, which had worked well earlier this year when I had rented another truck.

the problem is with the website. it would not give me a requested location and I was given a pickup location miles away. so I did not use the website and went direct to pickup location nearest me. Great experience with location, bad with website.

Do not allow customers to schedule pick up times outside of the location's open hours. We got there at our scheduled pick up time and the u-haul website said we had to wait til the location opened even though I specifically chose u-haul share 24/7 so that I could get the truck whenever. I am not happy with Uhaul because of this.

It was not clear from the online ordering process that we were given less than 24 hours with the trailer. Pick up was 1:30 on October 24th and the paperwork had drop off the next day at noon in State College.

Trucks are kept offsite. Dirty, tires were low, empty windshield washer fluid, dirty windshield inside and out, sticky steering wheel, damage on truck exterior. u-haul email link for checklist when picking up truck timed out. 800 number on hold for 20 minutes, so i hung up. rental location did not know what link i was talking about. Truck return after hours location, i called 800 number and hung up after long hold time as well. Rate uhaul.com and 800 number a 4 out of 10. pick up location 6 out of 10.

My experience was horrible! Because I hired 4 people from to different companies thru Uhaul and NO ONE showed up! IT made the whole moving experience very worrisome and stressful! You should tell people to fill out the online drop off before they put the key in the drop of box!

No appliance dolly was there for my reservation. And I was unable to get the Uhaul app to locate me when returning so had to navigate a return for additional days I was charged when I didn't have the truck. Also strange to not have the trucks at the location.
