It was a little inconvenient to drive 30 minutes out of the way. We were prepared to have to drive some, but it put us 30 minutes further into the heat of the day. Cell phone reception is not good in Beardstown, Illinois. The odometer photo never confirmed that it was loaded. The local manager gave us permission to take the truck.Scott E.

Very odd to me to pickup rental equipment at a low end motel but they did have a lot of Uhall rental equipment on site. Very difficult to communicate as most of the staff did not speak fluent English. Staff was somewhat friendly but mostly indifferent. Not really a professional operation at this location, would have been better to go to Springfield, this location is way out in no-where-ville. Better hope you don't need addition supplies in this location.David V.

rental reservation pickup location was different than I requested due to availability. Had to drive hour to the pick up location and an hour back. The pick up location was a budget inn that was in the middle of nowhere. When I got home to open up the trailer it was dirty and had to be sweeped out due to a black dust, was terrible.Aaron T.

The lady at the Budget Inn who checked us out Spoke very very poor English. She was Mexican and spoke Spanish. We did not understand anything that she told us. Find a place that has English as their primary language!PARKER P.

The person I was working with could not speak english and was on tge phone with the owner so I had to talk to him over the phone while he translated she didnot understand the compurer side of it after a hour I finally had the car dolly never again!!DONALD S.

I reserved a vehicle for pickup in Jacksonville, Illinois about 1 month ahead of time. 2 days before pickup I received a call saying that there were no vehicles available at the location, and that I'd have to pick up a vehicle in a different town 40 minutes away. This was a major inconvenience. Why can't uhaul honor reservations and ensure the availability of a vehicle after they agree to do so? If the reserved vehicle will be unavailable, why can't uhaul provide me more than 48 hours notice? I wasn't able to adjust my plans. Very unsatisfied with the experience and will look for a vendor/renter that I can trust in the future.MARGARET C.
Had pre ordered truck... but was there close to 45 min trying to get the truck. The people spoke very poor English and was having trouble with the card I had ordered with. After about 4-5 phone calls to various people finally was able to get the card to work.TOBY B.

You should clearly tell people on the website that you have to drive to the location that has your equipment. We didn't know until 2 days before that we would have to drive about an hour to pick up the equipment.Jonathan T.

Not pick up locations fault but we had to drive 40 minutes one way (1 Hour and 20 minutes total) because our hometown location for some reason couldn't get a truck. Even though they let me know 5 days before pickup. Not for sure why they couldn't have gone and picked up truck so we didn't have to make the extra trip to go get.Brett R.

The reps barely spoke English. I picked the dolley up in Bardstown IL to go to Republic Missouri. Seemed to be a huge misunderstanding with them that I was not bringing it back there.Daniel G.
