Truck was parked in and there were no keys. No dolly or furniture pad as orsered once owner showed up 45 minutes after pick up time.

The parking lot was so extremely full there was literally nowhere to park the uhaul except in front of the 2 garage doors. Which I know you aren't supposed to do, but there was no other option.

michael sConfirm pickup, including transfer of keys/lock box etc. with location and customer. I arrived 10 minutes early and the place was closed. The on-line U-Haul Reps couldn't help. I tracked the location mgr down on my own about an hour later and he came by to get me the key.

mike sMake sure truck is where u say it will be! There was broken glass in back of truck! I was told I got $60 off at first, then was told I got 50 extra miles where I actually picked it up, then I was told I didn't need to drop it off until Monday or Tuesday which no one told me. I was also told that extra day were free from drop off location but when I originally booked the truck the U-Haul rep said it was 40/day extra.. I am very dissatisfied..

mike sBuffalo Motor was not the problem. Mike was excellent to work with. The problem I had was with u-haul on line booking. I reserved a trailer on line. To pick up in Eau Claire Wisconsin on morning of 5/18/19 Got to the store and I had no trailer on reserve for me at that location. They look into and found my reservation was moved to a different location to pick up a trailer. 40 miles away. And they would not give me a different trailer or truck to use or go get the trailer from that other location. I wasted my time and gas to fix somebody's screw up I will not rent trailer from u-haul again and I will be telling my family and friends about what took place. Todd Roth

Mark GThe issue was not the fault of the shop by any stretch. However, because UHaul changed my reservation, I had to go 30 minutes away from home to pick up the size of truck that I had reserved. The shop that had the truck didn't have the furniture pads so those had to be picked up locally (a separate/additional errand). The truck was at a shop in a small town where we had difficulty with both cell and internet service. Because the shop had adjusted their hours for the day, we needed to use the 24/7 self-checkout feature. Not a problem, except that your phone is required and as previously stated we had very spotty usage due to the location. Also, we were not informed that the status of the order could not be changed (ie: you cannot self-check the vehicle out) if you were late. We were 10 minutes late, therefore it was impossible (in addition to the spotty internet access) to do the self-checkout. I had to do everything over the phone. I was told at that time that I would have had to wait until the office was open in my area in order to change the status and check the vehicle out. It would have been helpful to have this information prior to going about picking up my equipment. However, all of the hassle was primarily due to UHaul changing my equipment and I had made my reservation.

allen wThe inside of the trailer needed to be swept out as I was moving nicer furniture. There was a set of wires to a side marker light that were contacting one of the tires which I noticed when gassing up my truck. Luckily I had some electrical tape to make a temporary repair.
jeremy wI not happy w uhaul company themselves! Feel as though I was overcharged mileage, etc. When I call, I always wait over ten mins and get no where. I want a mánager or an owner to call me asap! Call me or my attorney will be getting a hold of you...
carol bUhaul called the day before pickup and changed locations on us to 20 miles away. Instead of them moving the truck and trailer to our desired location, we had to go pick it up. The truck we picked up got us to where we needed to go but sounded like it would break down at any moment. Don't think uhaul ever checked it.
Teri DNot make someone drive an hour to pick it up when the rental is so expensive. Also clearer communication about the phone process to pick up would be nice. I didn't know I had to do all of that before I got there. I also spent an hour on the phone with uhaul trying to get the process going so I could get the keys.
