Truck transmission was horrible and UNSAFE! Doesnt shift and high rpms before shifting even when truck is empty , truck windshield was unsafe and filthy and wiper washing fluid was non-existant and did NOT work.... Staff was polite and RATE is NOT what was agreed to on-line for a smallewr truck. Going back to Ryder! I used Uhaul because it was closer to my house but experience with reservations was HORRIBLE and sent me on a truck hunt and the txt messages were inaccurate and the WORST customer experience. FIX YOUR STUPID TEXT MESSAGES that sent me across town for a truck you NEVER had and then back to the original location for a old barely functional truck that was small er and charges me DOUBLE ...NO MORE UHAL.

After spending $746 on a rental, watching your friend sweep it out, cleaning the cab, folding the blankets to be told we didn't sweep it out left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. He gave us a broom and we proceed to resweepd it. We collected the debris to find it was fuzz off YOUR blankets that came off. Anyway.....next time I use PENSKE. They were $49 dollars cheaper. Should have used them this time.

I was surprised by the final bill. Fees that were added on that jacked the price way up. Cleaning fee for instance. We had the truck for less than 4 hrs and brought it back spotless! No cleaning was needed. Also the $75+ that was immediately taken out of my account at time of pickup was only the first of 2 charges. Another $82 was charged to my account on TOP of that. I was told my bank “eventually” will credit the first charge back — in maybe a week. So I’m penalized by Enterprise not just charging me the difference of a few $, instead of creating a whole second charge! Agent said it’s the bank’s fault because they want that $ to sit and earn interest. I say it’s Enterprise’s fault for not just charging me the difference between $75 & $82! Also, the agent simply stated $82+ was due without blinking an eye. I had to ask for a breakdown of the fees and an explanation of why the deposit wasn’t applied to final bill. They need to be more up front.

Uhaul has lost the direction that founder Sam Shoen embezzled apon every employee. Stand tall ,be recognized ,honest,with the integrity and knoledge to be the best at what you do in a comic strip policy sort of way.. Present day haul is bring th elude at someone point u will need it. Dishonest mf. What a bunch of cheap dogs in the middle of the freeway. Terry.Palmer

This rental experience was unfortunately horrendous. It took us HOURS to rent the truck because the computer system was down and therefore could not unlock the truck access via cellphone. And because the system was malfunctioning we had to go to MULTIPLE U-Haul affiliated locations and ended up at a full-service one. However, EVEN with the service representative, she could not charge our card or release the truck to us because even she couldn’t work within the computer system. So what was only supposed to be a quick one hour rental, turned into SEVERAL hours of frustration, irritation, and headache. We really appreciate the rep at this Buffalo location that apologized and did everything in her power to help. We knew it was not her fault whatsoever and she helped make the experience a little less painful to the best of her ability.
