The man at the desk was not very friendly. I assume he didn't like gay people. His tone and body launguage spoke words. The inside of the equipment was not clean so I left it that way as well. Bad experience overall.

I had to wait about 20 minutes and look for a person to contact the owner to get my truck. They reached him and he came to the location in his personal vehicle. I arrived at the location 10 minutes prior to my appointment, so it took 30 minutes in all to get the truck. The 26' truck had awful transmission problems and the RPMs would rev to 4000 to 5000 whenever I put on the brake. I drove the truck to the cargo location and then a 3 1/2 hour drive to Longview, Texas. It was an awful trip in this truck. Very disappointed after using UHaul many times. I have never had these issues before.

Mostafa AThe older man that was running this location was a dick. He needs to have better manner to customers. Also when I arrived my my truck keys were not in the lock box. I unlocked it and and had no keys. Went back to the other building where the older man was to let him know that it wasn't in there and he had an attitude like it was my fault that the keys were not in there. Will not ever use this location again.

LAFAYETTE KMy reservation was originally set for a different location: Portwest Commercial Truck Service LLC at 2555 Blue Mound Rd W Haslet, TX 76052. That location was very sketchy. Back of a storage lot for semi trucks. Not staff onsite. Office with UHaul signage is possibly someone's home, but not the UHaul person. I would not send a female to that location. Any time I utilize UHaul, there is never an option to utilize the UHaul rental location at 287 Storage (Avondale). It has trucks & trailers I use, plus I have storage at that location for that convenience. I am always sent somewhere further from my home location. The location that I actually rented the trailer from was top notch. Organized and on it.

Really shouldn't be running the front desk because he doesn't have no customer service value. if I didn't need the equipment short notice, I would have chewed the guy out. Corporate should have a talk with that guy and get rid of him.
Carlos CBurrells really came through for me when I had a reservation for a truck at a different location but the other location only knew how to take a reservation but not hold a reservation. There was no truck when I needed it because they rented it out to someone else. I would recommend Burrells..

Also believe that this location lied about needing the insurance but will need to confirm. How this location keeps its uhaul license is beyond me

He went over the details, did the walk around and sent me on my way. I've passed by this location many times and this was my first time renting from there. I'd rent again!

RODNEY STotal charges were incorrect, clerk added additional coverage after already selecting my preferred coverage on the U-Haul App while booking the U-Haul truck. I was also charged for fuel even when I photographed my fuel level before and after and it was the same if not even more fuel than starting out. Be sure to read the fine print and not get stuck with $70-$80 extra than what you originally planned on.

BILLY AMy family is from Ridgefield, WA. My mom grew up with the kids that inherited UHaul from their parents that started UHaul. Probably doesn't mean anything to anyone these days but we've always tried to use UHaul. The customer service here is not good. Cannot recommend due to older man as written about in other reviews.

Linda HThis location will work if you need a U-Haul but don't expect to receive any kind of friendly service. The trucks were in good condition but nothing was actually cleaned. The gentleman who ran the place gave the truck a quick sweep with his hand and called it good. I mean, it'll do the job but I'll be going to another location with cleaner trucks and better service for any future needs.
