Very bad experience

Candace MiaFirst time using mobile pickup and drop off. Found it very time consuming. Sat at gate uploading info given at reservation. Taking pictures of my license, front and back. And of truck at actual pickup.Long time to upload pictures on app and website. Truck was average, what I expected. Requested add ons, dolly and blankets not in truck. Wasn't charged. However, truck fuel gauge was at less than 1/4 when I picked it up. Drove it 15 miles total and was billed $31,5 in fuel charges. Drop off was glitchy. Wasn't exactly sure if it completed the transaction or not. All said and done. Definitely use a store that's open and staffed unless absolutely necessary.

Tom McIntoshOne of the worst experiences I've had dealing with U-Haul these past few days. I booked an after hours truck pickup at a different location that said they guaranteed it would be ready. Incompetence with the employees at that one location led to hours of waiting on hold to talk to someone just to say that location never set the truck up to be picked up. U-haul moved my booking to this new location and yet again had to deal with more failures on their part with the gate code not working at the pick up. I added on to the hours of wasted time due to Uhauls ineptitude until someone was leaving that one site so I could pick up the truck. In the end I had to add an additional day to my move after their multiple failures. Would strongly recommend booking another rental company as I will myself the next time around.

Kim SuarezThe previous renter was careless and dirty. Also, the mileage and fuel were incorrect so they were not respectful with your equipment. I appreciated the incentive to fill up to 1/4. The van itself is in very good condition so thumbs up. What I disliked was the return. I wasted a full hour at night because I waited 45 minutes on the phone for a representative to help me, simply because the mobile app REFUSED to upload the photo of the odometer/fuel gauge. This is the only reason for the 1-star review. Without this, I would have given 3-4 stars. Please get a chat function for the return or fix the issue with the photo not uploading. Why was I able to upload photos when I picked up? (The pickup experience was fine). If I continue wasting time like this, I will consider other services.

ROBIN LEVYThe office is in a storage facility and really hard to access. The gate code needs to be provided both when picking up AND dropping off, it was NOT included in the pickup instructions so we had to wait outside for ten minutes for someone to come behind us and let us in the gate.

Melissa MeyerIt seems as if the independent U-Haul stores take advantage of the consumer. There were so many unexpected fees. No flat rates, 0,79 per mile. I was no pleased with the experience at all.
Andrea DavisVivian went above and beyond to resolve a problem I was having with the location at 2600 N Tampa st. She deserves a promotion for her customer service and dedication to do a good job. I cannot say enough about the great lengths that she went thru to get my reservation transferred to her (at my request after getting no response from the Tampa St. location and no conformation call the day before my scheduled pickup). I picked up truck just one hour later than my reservation was for. THANK YOU VIVIVIAN FOR CARING THAT MY RESERVATION WAS HONORED.
