When I rented the 5X8' trailer, the agent told me that he would leave the drop off location open as there are four in Yuma, AZ. When i got to the drop off there was a drop-off location already defined 20 miles away from my house. This location was only 2.5 miles from my house. The representative went out of his way to make a phone call and allow me to leave trailer at his location. Hats off for going the extra mile.

I called 3 times before I rented and spoke with Lynette, Michael and another male. 3 times was told that the 39.95 was for 24 hours rental. Even while renting made sure that it was 24 hours. We rented at 6pm on 10/3 and brought truck back on 10/4 at 4.31. That's 22.5 hours! They charged me 2 days rent and 2 days insurance, just because an employee at this location did not put the right information in the system. I called Uhaul customer service, and they told me they can make a formal c?complaint, but it will rake 72 hours to get back to me. That's unacceptable!!! I could have easily rented from Budget or Penske, but chose Uhaul based on many prior experiences with a facility that knew what they were doing. This facility clearly does not! The times speak for themselves. We rented less than 24 hours! You already could not accommodate my original booking for a 10ft truck, not even a 15ft or 17ft truck. I was forced to rent a 20ft truck. I accepted that this would cost me at least $20 more, and even got the plus insurance. However, I DO NOT accept the charge for 2 days if we only rented it 22.5 hours. Your employee made a mistake, seems to me like it would be an easy fix. I'm extremely upset about this whole ordeal. You advertise rentals for 24 hours for 39.95, therefore, 22.5 hours is 1 day rental, not 2.

They changed the allowed mileage and charged us. They also claimed we did not fill the truck back up when we did.

fuck uhaul. this location does not accept cash, they overcharged for a “late return” when they cut our rental time short because it took an hour for them to even get a payment or start any paper work for us. my reservation was at 10am and i didn’t leave until 11am i never even started paper work until about 10:45. my rental was cut by a uhaul employee from 10 to 9 hours, it says it in the notes of the rental, they never called to confirm my reservation or to let us know that location doesn’t accept cash. never using uhaul again.

equipment was not working. I needed a receipt, they couldn't give me one. Asked to at least take a picture of the one on the computer. that didn't happen. after 30 minutes of working with the employees the manager came out and was very rude and disrespectful.

I had no issues with the Uhaul itself. However, the lady who helped me at the Cal Ranch Store, Susan, was very unpleasant. She spoke rudely to me and treated me as if I knew nothing. The first thing she said to me was "you know you're late to pick it up, right?" This is unfortunate because I have used Uhaul many times before and always received excellent customer service from the employees at the 4th avenue location.

Even though I returned the 6x12 trailer early, the trailer was not logger in correctly and I received a call the trailer had not been returned U was charged $31.76 for an additional day. I submitted a refund request but have not received the refund on the additional day.

Their computer system was down and they did not record the correction to the fuel level. It was between 3/8 and 1/2 but their paper original said 1/2. I corrected him and pointed ut out but he wasnt able to put it into the system. After moving our items, I filled the tank back up to where it was before but they insisted on charging me a $7 fuel fee even though I already put it back to where it was. Even after the original empolee verified the fuel level they still charged me.

This was the worst Uhaul truck that I have ever rented. Things we noticed during our trip: if the truck is turning left it leans so far to the right that I was certain it would tip over, there loose wires under the dash you know this because the high beams worked when they wanted and the fuel gage and oil gage work off and on , the brakes squealed so loud, and the constant rattle that only got louder and I do have a video if you would like to hear it and in the video it was a quiet moment. At this moment I can honestly say that I will never use Uhaul again. I know at some point that truck was wrecked. My phone number is 580 574.6713.

I paid to have my vehicle loaded on the trailer since this was my first time using the service. Everything seemed fine until the straps on one of the wheels came off and I ended up calling for service to help re-secure the vehicle. Apparently the straps on the front tires were not installed correctly and I was also told to put the vehicle in neutral which caused the battery to die. I would like to request a refund for paying to have the vehicle loaded, which was done incorrectly.

We got a call the night before that our pick up locations changed, which was fine. But the new location didn't have any moving blankets and we requested a dozen online. I was sent across town to a different location and waited almost an hour just to pick up some blankets. No one was prepared even though I made the reservation well in advance.

Unfortunately the staff did not know much about how to use the equipment, and since I did not either, neither of us realized the car tow I was renting had a bent lever. It was incredibly difficult to use and gave me so much difficulty I thought I was crazy since the videos made it look so easy. When I dropped it off they recognized it immediately, and were surprised someone let me rent it. I would offer additional training to the staff at this location. They were really friendly and nice, but did not recognize a big problem existed with the equipment they had.

The agent at this,location (cal ranch, Yuma AZ ) first informed me that none of the trucks are available and that I must try at another location. At the other u haul they found online that a truck was infact available at the cal-ranch location and the agent was kind enough to print me the reservation. I then drove back to the cal-ranch location to pick the truck. But Jessie at the cal-ranch u-haul was very helpful and that's the only reason I gave a positive review.
