I was charged more than quoted. I was returning rental truck after hours around 11:30 PM. Online return didn't work so I called customer service couple of times, but kept getting disconnected after receiving error messages. Then I did online chat with U Haul representative and was told my return is completed. But next morning when I checked online, it was done so I went to store to finish return. When I got my return receipt I was charged almost twice the amount I wax quoted with same rental time period. When I asked clerk about charges I was asked to call customer service. Next time I will think twice before renting u haul.Viral U.

The website said that they couldn't find my location to verify that I was dropping it off at the right place. I eventually had to call Uhaul directly to make a note of the situation at the drop off.ATIMALALA P.
The experience was absolutely amazing! I rented a 26ft truck with an appliance dolly for 2 days. The equipment worked perfectly, the ramp made loading everything that much better, and driving the truck was super easy as well. I only moved everything from my 3bed 2 bath home to another in two trips!! Renting from CAL ranch is amazing. They are always very helpful! Highly recommend on everything!Sean D.

Location requires pickup before 7pm. (No lock box available to pick up keys, only for drop off). Luckily Cashier and Manager were very helpful and able to sign in to system and locate the keys in a drawer. Kudos for excellent customer service. U haul Truck Share 24/7 option is convenient and easy to use, option to upload photo's of truck to report any damages before you drive off and at time of return down side is the fact it directs you to get the key from representative inside store at pickup. & U haul's front windshield was full of dead bugs.Cecilia B.

The 24/7 mobile phone pickup didn't work. I showed up at 7am, my schedule time and the truck was not processed for early pickup. I called u-hauls 800 number and was â€œ waiting for the next available operator â€œ for some time. I had to sit in the parking lot until the store opened at 8am to get the truck.Bart W.
So many problems with this rental. I even had to take an extra day off of work to handle everything. From the truck being dirty and missing both dollies to having to go to the store a second time and being lied to then trying to return truck and finding out the truck I was given was the wrong one and the drop off location refusing to take it back I had to take an extra unpaid day off of work to sort it out. My issues don't necessarily lay with the location but with U-Haul itself. The people at CAL Ranch were amazing and so very helpful. But U-Haul made the process so much more complicated then it was supposed to be. I had a 10ft rental for 1 day. I realized I was going to need it for more than that and decided to extend my rental. Now, U-Haul told me when I tried to do so that I couldn't because that 10ft was already scheduled for another person. I understood and decided to return it then get another 10ft the same day. Well when I went to return the U-Haul I was retiring couldn't be returned for some reason and the one I was due to get wasn't available so I was told to Keep the truck I had and the wonderful workers at CAL Ranch would take care of everything else. So I did so. When I went to return the truck on my final day of use there was yet another issue with the return on Uhauls side of the house. After the workers at CAL RANCH combined with minor assistance with the regional manager the issue was somewhat resolved. My credit card hasn't been charged yet but is going to be here in a couple days once they fully resolve the issue. Overall equipment usage was great. No problems with the truck what so ever. Like I said my only issue was with U-Haul itself!Sean D.
The trailer tires were in unsafe condition for travel, and we had to have roadside service come to replace tires which delayed our overall departure from Yuma. The person checking it out didn't seem to care that the tires were in poor condition.Frans A.
Hook up the correct equipment. The location hooked the incorrect trailer up to my vehicle. When I went back into the store to let them know. No one ever came out so I had to disconnect and connect the correct trailer.Erika P.
I rented a 6x12 Cargo Trailer. I live in Long Beach, CA and was forced to drive over 600+ miles to Arizona to retrieve Uhaul equipment. There were plenty in California and saw multiple at stores near my home. The company refused to allow me to use local products nor tried to compensate me for the 600+ miles to retrieve their equipment. This whole experience seemed to have a lack of proper management of their supply. I will not use their product/ service again and will tell others to use another service.nick S.

I ordered an appliance dolly and 24 moving blankets. When I arrived they did not have a furniture dolly or any blankets. I had to rummage through the returned trucks and was able to find the appliance dolly and 12 of the 24 blankets.EVAN P.

1. Don't allow online bookings, if you don't have the inventory, and then call the customer TWO DAYS, before a cross country move that you need to change their reservation 2. Don't quote someone a price for a service, change the reservation, and then OVERCHARGE by 200 dollars THE DAY OF MOVE, and then tell the customer it's take it or leave it with no other options. I was changed from a 20 foot truck to a 15 foot truck with a trailer and promised the price would not exceed the original quote, on the day of pick up the price was 200 dollars more, even after â€œhelping from the managerâ€, and told the day of my cross country move that I didn't have to pay it if I didn't want the service as if I had the time to figure out another plan. I was also asked multiple times after the original change to change further, and the drop off location was changed without my choosing or even notification, and I had to call around to all the UHAUL drop off areas in northern Colorado due to the change without warning. I'm still waiting on a refund for the trailer which I ended up not needing and it took 3 additional hours of asking, planning, and going back to the store in Yuma before it could go back, in a day where I already had to pack, clean, move out of my home etc. To be honest, I'm so displeased with uhaul, it's poor customer service, it's lack of care for the consumer etc, I will not be recommending or utilizing this service againMadison H.

Daniel the assistant manager had no clue what to do & thought it was funny to keep us standing there for an hour. I'm 6 Months pregnant and we had a reservation. He only has like 2 employees that know how to operate the U-Haul reservations. How does a manager not know how to use the system. It was awful. I scheduled pick of vehicle for 630 pm but waited almost 30 min to get vehicle. I did not get vehicle until almost 7pm. I turned in vehicle around the same time. As such was charged extra and not my fault.Gerardo M.
It would be good to inform customers that a "Retail" rental location such as C A L Ranch Store is not equipped with a mechanic or tools to fix situations that require one or both. I had to change the ball on my hitch and they couldn't do it there at C A L Ranch. I had to go over to a Uhaul Service Center to get the fix taken care of.John G.

I reserved online, got into town and was called and told my trailer was not there, I'd need to drive another 60 miles to the next closest place. We drove there, it was a storage place and they refused to answer the door or phone. Had to drive to this final location in Yuma to get the trailer. It was 120 extra miles overall for that trip and I was comped 20 $off my bill--I spent 40 $on gas going the extra difference. Overall LOVE using these Uhaul Auto Transports, they tow supremely and very easy to load and strap.James D.

Worst experience of my life. They rented a broken truck,waited 5 hrs with my family for a tow truck,had 900 of meat in coolers that spoiled due to the truck breaking down. They admitted fault by.towimg the truck and getting me and my family a room for the night. But after taking pislctures of the meat in their truck telling the road side people about it in the first five minutes. And making over 37 phone calls each well over 45 min each. They just keep passing the buck until either you give up or harass them so much they call and deny any issues what so ever and you take them to court. After being out of all the expenses Ã-2 . They take advantage of the fact you dont have the time and money after such a loss to persue reembursment and screw you royally. But I saved receipts and pics tes and dates of who I called along with names of who I spoke totalling 37 calls in 7 days time. So bet I wont see this to the end just for simple.priciple if right and wrong. And cal ranch uh haul is faulty thru and thru. Bewear u will be screwedDonald A.
