The gentleman who helped me at the location was fantastic and very helpful. Any negative feedback I have is about the age of the trailer itself. The strap for raising and lowering the door needs to be replaced and the ball connection mechanism was so touchy to deal with that the trailer popped off at one point and was extremely difficult to deal with. Thankfully it was empty and I was traveling at very low speed (5mph) and so nothing was damaged, but it was still scary. I hope this type of mechanism isn't a feature of newer u-haul trailers.

This location does not open until 10am, other locations open at 7am or 8am.

I ended up going to this location because the location I had requested could not take in any one-way rentals. Owner was polite and listened to my issues.

Said my application was successful for renting a trailer I get there I do all the paperwork any hands me a piece of paper that says I can't get it and I need to call because there was an issue. Why won't that been said right when I did the application online I drove there wasted my gas wasted my time and I was in a hurry, and that failed as well because you flagged my account for using a passport how ridiculous very unprofessional especially the one who reported it. I don't see a problem in that at all and that should never be an issue.

My Experience with U-Haul was Terrible My reservation was made at 8:30 AM at one location, when I arrived to pick up my truck I was informed that location does not handle 26' trucks and had t go to a different location 3 miles away to get my Truck Upon arriving at new location They do not Open until 10 AM. So I had to call Service Department who tried to tell me that I was called to inform me about Change

Staff are great but not as efficient as dedicated U haul center. Bike shop first, U-haul second.

My equipment I paid for and was supposed to be in the truck/trailer was not in there and I never received it and it took 20 minutes to get my U-Haul because they were helping bike shop customers after I had already checked in and paid. Very unorganized unfortunately

I reserved a return to New Brighton. My contract decided to change the return location to Mounds View. Try maybe honoring the customer choice for return location. New Brighton opens at 7, Mounds View at 10, which is why I chose New Brighton

I had to drive to this UHaul because my original location did not have the truck I rented a week prior. Once I got here, the owner of the bike store kept letting regular bike customers in front of UHaul customers causing a delay. I did the online app check in, but still had to come in a wait in line because they hadn't "checked" in the truck I needed and needed to "check it in" before they could "check it out" to me. I was overall inside the store for 2 hours while the owner tried to figure out how to check in/check out the truck. It caused a delay of the movers that I hired and a delay for the entire day. Overall an extremely frustrating experience.

Great location, great owner! The only thing I would do is improve the system on the UHAUL side. The Owner had to reenter all the things I already entered into the system, and the system didn't ask for my drivers license so the owner of the site had to put that information in, too.

The guy who received my trailer drop off was excellent and helpful. This drop off location changed on me last minute so that was undesirable.

This location was unstaffed so we had to use mobile pick up. The u-haul website kept crashing so we had to call support for the mobile pick up and then the lock on the key box was frozen. I suggest using a staffed location, or pick up during business hours.

Everything went smooth, I was able to drop off at the same location we picked it up which was nice. When I rented on line it didn't give me the option to do that, it would have been nice to have just set it up that way. The clerk said it was because it was a one way rental.

Overcharged for 20 miles over what was expected. 30$ for 20 miles does not seem right. I would not recommend this location.

My reservation was incorrect so the app would not let me check in to get my truck. I had to call customer service and waited over an hour to get my truck and keys. They kept saying my time was 10am but my confirmation email showed 6am like I originally scheduled.

I was sent a text message with the address of the place the day of the rental. However, the directions were off. That would be the only compliant I had.

The agent at the location arrived 20 min late: I was told the trick would be available at 10:00 a.m. and he arrived to start his day at 10:20 a.m. The truck had not been swept out by the previous user and there was damage to a wheel that ended up being a non-issue. The manager provided no explanation for his delay and at no time did he apologize for the inconvenience. I had arranged through UHaul for packers to assist load the truck and I was on a tight timeline to be ready for their arrival to ensure the loading of the truck was completed within the window of time they were available.

Truck Share 24/7 at this location worked great! But I requested two dollies and furniture pads. They were not loaded into the truck and I had no way to retrieve them from the location since it wasnt open and there was no instruction. Not the end of the world but its extremely inconvienent if you are planning to have them. For this reason I will likely never use U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 or rent for a neighborhood dealer again.

Uhaul for the second straight rental switch my location. They send an email the day before assuming the renter has access. never a phone call or consideration on the impact to the renter. There are reasons why locations are picked for pick-up. If the selected pick-up location is not capable of providing required equipment take the off the list!!

Had to go to a whole different site at the last minute because they didnt have a 26 foot at where i reserved it from a week prior. The new site wasnt even open at the time i needed the truck. Had to go pick up the key & fill out paperwork the night before. Big hassle. Very disappointed!

The location was great. Unfortunately U Haul did not follow through with their guarantee of getting me my reserved equipment at the location I originally sent. Extremely disappointed in their lacking ability to provide what they promised. I ended up driving out of my way and paying more in mileage because of their lack of preparedness. This had nothing to do with the Mounds View location, and instead with the original Blaine Location and U Haul as a company. I would hesitate to contract my companies services with them in the future seeing this is how they treat people when trying to simply move a home.

The store did not open on time as posted. Customers have to wait for the store to open. Also, the person that open the store did not know how to rent out U-Haul equipments. I believe all staff should be trained on the U-Haul rental process and not relying on one person.
