Philip D.When I clicked the link to pick up the truck, I consistently received an error saying the page did not exist. I arrived at 5pm, so one of the employees who was leaving did it for me from her device and stayed until 5:10pm to help me.
Brian K.Rental went fine. Convenient and great price. Only negative was they did not have a dolly (hand truck) available although it was on my reservation. Recommend you get more of those as they would pay themself off quickly and make it more convenient for customers. No reason to be out of them.
Ronald A.I was charged for two days when I only rented and used the U-Haul truck for one day. I picked up the U-Haul around 9:40 even though my reservation was for 9 a.m. The location was supposed to open at 9 a.m., but the front office worker did not arrive until 9:30. Her excuse was that U-Haul was supposed to change the earliest reservation time to 10 a.m., but the business is still supposed to open at 9 a.m. according to their own signs. After picking up the vehicle later than my reserved time, I used it for about 3 hours and returned it. I was scheduled to keep it until around 7 p.m., but I returned it by 1:30 p.m. I parked the truck directly in front of the facility office, gave the keys to the same person who was still in the office, and was told by her that everything was good to go. The next morning I see that I was charged for two days. I called the office, where this same individual picked up the phone, and I was told that they didn't check the truck in until that morning. When I asked her to refund the money, she stated that she could not, and I needed to call U-Haul. When I asked her why it didn't get checked in, I was told "I don't know" even though she was the one that took the keys from me when I returned the truck. I find the morning employee at this facility to be one step above completely incompetent (at least for those two days), and I cannot recommend anyone use this location. I attempted to contact U-Haul, but I was told that there was a one hour wait to connect to a customer service agent. Instead, I submitted a complaint electronically to customer service. I still have not heard back from them, and it has been about 48 hours. I will attempt to update this review if they ever contact me and refund the overcharge.
Brandon H.App is real buggy and times out a lot. Too many questions trying to sell additional items and insurance. These all make the mobile experience weak IMO
Derek G.My issue is the whole rental experience. I was given a truck with a flat tire, took three hours for a tire contractor to come. Overage oh gas non refundable, truck was given to me with half and returned with full tank. Loaders damaged almost all of my furniture, that I now have to replace at my expense. Will not use U-Haul again

I reserved a truck in Birmingham only to be contacted a day before pickup that a truck wasn't available and I would need to drive 2 hours out of my way to pick it up...if you can't keep the reservation don't take the reservation. By waiting until a day before pickup U-Haul made it impossible to make other arrangements and therefor locked me into transferring the truck for them at an expense of gas and time. I will not be using U-Haul again if it can in avoided. And do you think there was a discount applied or offered for my inconvenience...nope.
Patrick L.Not this locations fault, but I was charged for extra day. Dropped off rental on date agreed? Had 2 rentals reserved and no trucks were available as promised. Cullman location found a truck but inserted random drop off location. I was told to drop off truck and any location which was above.
Darris F.The location itself was nice, but we had to drive an hour to it from Birmingham because it was the closest place with a U-HAUL. The personnel here were nice and helpful and it wasn't their fault we had to do this. This is on U-HAUL'S current system for "reserving" moving trucks.

NADER J.Horrible experience yet again with U-Haul!! I reserved a U-Haul for a 12:30 pick up, but the lady wasn't at the office and had to wait almost an hour before she showed up and I could leave. I ordered a dolly and 2 dozen furniture covers which they didn't have either. Not sure why I'd have the option to purchase if I really didn't have the option. I need to do a one-way rental since my destination was close to 70 miles away. I didn't see an option to select this, but asked the super tardy U-Haul representative if I'd be able to, and she said, “Oh, yeah, you can just drop it off anywhere.†For some reason this had me wondering if this was true, so I called 1-800-U-HAUL to confirm. I was greeted with a super rude call center lady that told me she was sorry that I was told I could do a one-way, but my contact says it's an in-town rental, “so you're going to have to take it back where you got it.†On top of that, I put $60 (32 gallons) worth of gas in and got it well over the half tank mark, but just got my receipt and it shows that it's halfway between a quarter and a half a tank. When I got it, it was under a half and I brought it back with more than a half. I'm pretty sure those get more than 4,7 miles per gallon, but even if it did, it would have been exactly where I got it in gas, not under!! My past 2 experiences with U-Haul have been a complete joke. I definitely won't use you guys again!!
Adam R.Returned a 26 foot uhaul truck. Very little places to park. I kept the truck one day extra but was charged for two. Spoke to Kimblerly and was absolutely useless. She said you need to call U-Haul directly. What a freaking joke these folks are. Total lack of professionalism!!
VAL V.I was charged almost $400 for having the u-haul for a day and half . If I would have known it would have cost that much just for the small amount of time I had the truck I would have just paid someone with a trailer and pick up truck to move my stuff. This was my first time renting a u-haul and this will be my last! I will make sure to tell everyone how outrageous the price is and how it was not explained to me that y'all were charging so much! How come I rented the u-haul for $105 for a day but for the 1/2 a day extra I had it I was charged over $200 for just that half a day??????

DALVIN A.The destination drop off process was a complete debacle! At my assigned drop off location (Skyland Blvd), an employee was quick to tell me I could not turn in the trailer there, even though my contract advised that was my preferred and assigned drop off location. When I asked her what I was supposed to do, she told me to call U Haul. She did not offer to provide any assistance and she advised finding an alternate drop off location was not her job. I was finally able to get a secondary drop off location assigned, only to get there and find the place closed. When the U Haul employee arrived to reopen, I was forced to unhook and drop the trailer with no assistance or post operation inspection to identify any damages. U Haul, generally speaking, needs a lot of work on customer service!

Justin M.Uhaul should not be selling equipment at locations that it is not available (dolly). This is not necessarily the location's fault, it is the fault of U-Haul as a company. Furthermore, it is truly absurd that uhaul's policy is to not confirm pick up time or location until the evening before. I will go out of my way to ensure I do not use Uhaul in the future because of the complications this policy caused.

There was no one present to help solve the problem so I moved my washer and dryer with the utility dolly. I emailed your customer service two weeks ago to dispute the bill but I still have not heard back. I would like some assistance.
