Still waiting to get my refund. I was not Happy with the Ina Rental because as we stood in line to pick up our rental that was Reserved over a month in advance and listened as they rented our last 10 footer to someone else. Then they sent us to Oracle to get the truck I ordered, so I wasted time and gas and miles out of my way. Not good business practice. BUT Oracle was great. Wish I had gone there in the first place.

I was asked to hook up the trailer myself, and I declined. I did have to unhook it when I returned it 3 hours later during normal business hours when they were open. Also, no safety chains were on the trailer, so none were attached to my towing vehicle. I thought safety chains were required...?

The truck I was given had not been cleaned from the previous rental. They did not have the Appliance Dolly that I had requested with my online reservation. I had to drive out of my way to another U-Haul location to get an Appliance Dolly. I only receive 11 of the 12 moving blankets that I requested with my reservation. The name on the location building was actually Midas not C&C Tucson Rental (very confusing when I was trying to find it).

I was charged more then what my reservation was for. agent wouldn't let me leave with the tailor unless i paid for the insurance even though i clearly selected that i would reimburse u haul if anything happens. Agent also would not give me a copy of any paper work or receipt.

I had reserved a van at the Auto Mall location, once I got there I was sent to a different location to rent a 15’ van. I was not told that the Uhaul location I had been sent to was a Midas on Oracle and Fort Lowell. I passed it 3 times until I realize where it was. Although I had good customer service by Mike White there at Midas, I had told Mike I was going from the Northwest side to the southwest side and the location on Ajo Way/6th Ave was closer to drop off the van he said that would be fine. When I dropped off the van at Ajo Way/6th Ave the guys there were not friendly, and not helpful at all. They just said they couldn’t accept the van because it was not theirs and didn’t even explain to me why. I had to drive to the Midas Location across town adding additional mileage to my final cost when I was already at a Uhaul location. I was very upset because not only I wasted time and gas in my own car driving around to drop off the van, now I had to drop it off 10 miles and 30 minutes further. I dropped off the van at Midas and it was already closed. I then drove to the Auto Mall location so they could explain to me what went wrong and why the Ajo Way/6th Ave location could not accept the van. I was told after the guy there looked it up in the computer, that Mike White had set up the rental van as a in town contract and this is why another location could not accept the van.. if I would have been told and explained this ahead of time then again I would have not had an issue and would have acknowledged this.. I specifically told him the Ajo Way/6th Ave was closer and that was the location I would be dropping the van at and he replied to me, “sure you can do that, that will be fine.” I request for a recalculation of the miles and for a refund of the difference. First off, Uhaul says "save $100 by dropping off at one of these locations" instead of where I wanted to drop it off. So...I play their game and picked one. Ended up being over an hour drive one way and then on top of that it was actually a Midas Muffler place in the heart of Tuscon with NO indication it was even a Uhaul place. Total waste of my time, money and fuel. DON'T opt for that horse crap!

I tried to reserve on the web site, but it5 was very complicated and trying to sell to me many products that I would not need for my simple move. That can confuse customer. some product were checked already to add on the order. should all be checked off and if somebody want something he will check the item. A little frustration, but being attached to UHAL, I used phone to call and reserve.

Agent added $14 Safe Move when I specifically declined it online when reserving truck. My fault for not looking over the rental agreement before taking possession of truck. I drove the truck only 6 miles but was charged for 10 miles!! Truck was NOT clean when I got in it! I will definitely not be renting from this location again!!!

Don't lie about being able to return vehicle to another location by calling in. Don't add bogus gas charges, I filled up 2 gallons and kept the receipt, I only drove 13.8 miles and didn't leave the vehicle idling any time and you charged for an additional 4 gallons. 6 gallons for 13.8 miles? - contacted customer service about this and they've submitted a refund request.

Did not rate on location being clean and inviting since this location is first a auto service center which tend not to be focused solely on u-haul rentals. The service representative did a good job at obtaining the necessary paper-work for being able to drop off the trailer.

The truck had not been cleaned at all. The truck's windshield was dirty and bug spattered. The cab was dirty. I wasn't impressed by the peach pits, cigarette butts and empty drink bottle that were in the cab. I ordered and paid for 48 furniture pads, but the location only had 45. I rate the location above average because the personnel who took care of us were excellent. Too bad they don't maintain the equipment they're sending out.

This location is a Midas muffler shop. The staff at this location displays contempt for UHaul and made their unease with the rental process uncomfortable for us. This Midas staff has no respect for the value of UHaul and disrespects the Brand, a brand that I AM loyal to. They staff is untrained, the equipment was FILTHY and the paper work provided was inaccurate!!!! UHaul is a great company. This location SUCKS.

I rented a U-Hual on 08/22 (5:16 pm), I did not double-check the actual mileage on the truck and the mileage claimed on the paperwork, I thought the staff will make everything perfect, but they were different, 4786 miles on the truck and 4728 miles on the paperwork, and the tank was not full either. I noticed that when I got the receipt, as they charged me a lot. When I found it, I tried to call dealer's number 5202931738 many times but no response. Then I visited their store to claim this problem, they called someone else and told I will get the reply in few hours, but I have not got any phone calls from U-Hual yet. There are just about 4 miles from my new apartment to the old one, and I returned it at 7:47, which means it is impossible to drive 68 miles and move an apartment in 2.5 hours. I am still waiting for the reply. Thank you

I was fooled once again buy the Uhaul site's truck size classification (I think it happened to me once several years ago): the truck length INCLUDES THE CAB. They really need to make this more apparent. Why the hell would I care about the size of the non-cargo portion of the truck?

Still waiting for the refund of the gas cap we had to buy because someone had stolen it. We handed in the receipt approx $15. Gas caps should have locks on them. I'm just grateful no one stole the gas!

Basically speaking, I parked my car overnight at the location while I rented the truck, and the car was vandalized. The license plate was bent and possibly removed and replaced. Not a good scene to return to. I am happy my car was still in one piece. As far as the rental went, OK. Good truck, good equipment, good people with the rental process, fair deal. Thanks.

Super nice people here. Small but very accommodating. Definitely would use this location again. Our only concern was the drop box. It's tooooo accessible to people. It just seemed way to easy for people to get in to. Thank you!

The location was not a problem however I was not happy with the run around I received.I had a reservation for pick up on Saturday between 1 and 2 o'clock pm. When I arrived at 1:40 to Downtown Shift I was told by a gentleman named Keith they were closed and the only reason he was there was because he had things to do in the shop. He reported he did not have a 26 foot truck. He stated a truck was supposed to come in at 12 noon. He called the customer. He was told she had called her agent to extend the time. Keith tried helping me by calling different agents but he could not find a truck. I called traffic and they were able to find one but it was clear across town. It ended up costing me Double the miles cost because of the lack of communication between uhauls and the agents. When I asked for a discount the lady from uhauls customer service stated uhauls would not. I purposely scheduled a pick up by my home to save money. Uhauls needs to improve communication with agents and reimburse me half the mileage cost..that's the honorable thing to do....thank you!!!

They only had one 5X8 trailer on site. I assume it was the one reserved for me. The personnel on site did not act like I had one reserved. He said oh we've got one on site you can rent.

The contract was not written up properly. It showed me picking up and taking back to the same location in Tucson after I clearly reserved the vehicle with the drop off in Scottsdale. Also the mileage was not logged in correctly with my contract originating in Tucson. Finally, I was given the vehicle without anyone looking at my drivers license or doing a walk through with me prior to my leaving the Tucson location. Many problems.

They weren't ready for us. The car wasn't clean. The stated gas tank amount was off and so was the stated mileage. Fortunately, we caught both before we drove off, otherwise we might have been paying almost $300 in mileage. No apologies, and in general, sub par customer service. Oh well, life goes on, and we got our move completed.

I called the number given several times but no one answered. Had to call the 1-800 number. Still received the text twice the next day.

Rented a pick-up truck on Saturday, returned on Sunday (dropped off). Received final receipt on Tuesday. Local rental outfit keeps calling me about having not returned the truck... even after being told that the truck has been returned.

The vehicle was very damaged. When we got it onto the freeway, the steering required a lot of over compensation from poor alignment. When the vehicle got close to the speed limit, the entire steering column would rattle. I'm also unsure how fuel efficient a small u-haul is, but filling the tank 3 times in less than 300 miles with A/C off is an indication that something is wrong with the vehicle. I did not feel safe in the vehicle. There were other vehicles available, but when asked about swapping, the supervisor told us ours was the only one he was given permission to cross state lines. This doesn't sound ok to me.

I was charged $10 for a appliance dolly per the original reservation I placed, but never received the dolly when I picked up the trailer. The store nor I realized it. I was pressed for time, so I had a neghbor help me move the washer and dryer without a utility/appliance dolly. I tried to call the tucson store several times to get a credit for $10 placed back on my card and no one ever answers the phone at the midas shop where I picked up the trailer. The drop off location said I needed to deal with the other store in order to get my $10 credit. I am really frustrated at the whole deal. I really dont like renting from UHAUL and it never goes as planned.

C&C did not have a ball and hitch to purchase nor any pads to rent. I had to go to a different location to purchase these items. I tried to pick up a rental trailer from the new location and they did not have the correct size. Thus, I had to return to C&C per my reservation. At this time I was told by Tim that U-Haul was a side-line business and I had to wait until the Midas customers were taken care of first. Next I was told he was locked out of the computer and needed to contact the manager, who was off duty for the day, for the password. After 20+ minutes Tim received a text with the password. The password did not work and Tim still could not access the computer. Next Tim tried to call the area office for assistance and was told there was nothing she could do to help because it was computer system. Once again I was told to wait for Midas customers! Next Tim called U-Haul reservations to access my account. At this time I was told by the woman on the reservation line she did not have my reservation and I needed to provide all the details I submitted online when I made the reservation. Upon completion of this I handed the phone to Tim to make sure he would release the trailer to me and he spoke with the woman. He then hung up and we walked outside to hook-up the trailer and he asked me the number of the unit I was renting! The woman on the phone never provided this information to me nor to Tim. Thus, he was left with calling back to retrieve this number. Overall, it took 2.5+ hours to pick-up a trailer I had made a reservation for online. This, fiasco took up precious time I had set aside for my hired hand to help me load this unit and clear out of my storage unit on time. I was very disappointed and upset. Each time Tim made a phone call to the area supervisor or both times to U-Haul reservations he was put on hold for a very long time.

I was surprised that upon return of the trailer that there was no walk around condition inspection. I asked the associate if I needed to sign something and he said no. I just figured I would need to sign something stating the date and time in which I returned the trailer.

This was such a terrible experience. I will NEVER rent from UHaul again, and will be sure to tell everyone looking to rent about my experience. The dealer gave me a vehicle with a dead battery, misinformed me, then blamed me. After a week of talking to them and UHaul and everyone being confused, I was told I shouldn't be charged. Then, I was still charged over $80. For a vehicle with a dead battery and the worst service I've ever received. I cannot believe you didn't even try to make this right. Really, really terrible.
