The app didn't work so well. I was trying to "return" using the app, the app was having problems taking pictures, and it didn't give the option for me to upload photos I had taken apart from the app.TIMOTHYJOSEPH W.

Auto transmission needs servicing. Didn't shift out of first or second until fairly high speed. Also, Juan, who walked me through the pick-up over the phone, was fantastic. Being on hold and listening to a repeating 20 second message for 40 minutse sucked, in a word. Hire more people to handle the phones, that was ridiculous.regis G.

The equipment was damaged and the system would not allow me to upload the correct photos identifying the damage. I had to go through customer service to upload the photo's. I thought this was very unprofessional as this would cause someone to inherit the cost of the previous drivers expense. This also delayed my move since i spent an hour out of my reservation time on the phone with customer service trying to get some help. I also experienced an unpleasant experience on a rental this i rented on Friday as well. These 2 rental this weekend caused me unbelievable expenses that i did not expect. I have used U-Haul services in the past and next experienced this kind of service.SERENA V.

The UHaul Share experience was a total failure. I had to go into the shop where the lady at C&V automotive in Fishkill NY helped me and promptly processed me. If it wasn't for her, the system you have in place would not have worked. Although this is not regarding the location, the customer service side from the 800 # for uhaul was shoddy to me. After struggling with the self service part of our truck pickup, I waited on hold for 25 mins and the rep was able to get me logged in correctly, however when she wanted to hang up with me right after I asked if she could please wait a minute more for me to finish the process and she replied with "no we are not able to do so." You would think they would want to make sure the customer gets it done successfully, no not them. As for the drop off I had another problem with the process however it was mainly bc of my cell service. I had to call them again and the rep told me she couldn't help me but a different department could. After 15 mins of being on hold originally I get another rep and he asks me all the same questions again and he says, I'm sorry, I am unable to help you." Now I was annoyed bc I sat on hold for him to tell me he can't help me. Basically they left me there to figure it out myself. We planned to just leave the truck and call the location in the morning and explain what happened but I was able to finally get service and finish the process in which I got the confirmation and all. However, the next morning I get a phone call saying I never dropped off the truck ! I will never do this process ever again, it wasted time that me and my husband had to make our move.Christopher V.

While the van we rented was in good working order it was definitely filthy inside. It seemed like the previous renter had a dog sitting in the passenger seat and they also left garbage throughout the cabin. I had to take pictures upon returning so I'm not sure how they got away with that.ANTHONY B.

The location is great. Uhaul check in software is not. Make the software user friendly or stop using it. It takes far too much time to both check-in and return. Take pictures on both ends and not have human contact to help. Glad I won't have to rent again anytime soon.Carl P.

C&V Tire and Brake's Regina and John were terrific. We couldn't have worked it out with out them! After we reserved the truck and trailer, we tried to scan in the code on your sign there at the pick up office but it never worked to pull up our reservation so Regina had to do it all for us! She did it with a good attitude even though it isn't her job! You also neglected to tell us the trailer/truck didn't come with the ball attachment! so Regina and John loaned us their attachment. You should inform people when they are reserving a truck and trailer that that is not included. Also there wasn't enough STRONG attachment hooks for strapping in the trailer, just the weak rings on the floor of the trailer.James G.
The woman was nice and answered a few questions I had. The truck served its purpose but had over 90 000 miles on it and really felt it when i was driving. The inside of the cab was not clean. Although it was neat it really didnt smell ckean and everything was sticky. When i wiped down the steering wheel and cup holders the dirt on the wipes was not acceptable especially considering during the covid 19 crisis. For that reason i feel the owner of the rental location was average or below.james M.
