This was a terrible experience, I checked in online and provided all my information ahead of time (including my DL and emergency contact) and none of that was in the system when I arrived. Had to do the check in all over again. When I finally got the van it was disgustingly dirty inside and out. Looked like it has been sitting for months and there was an awful smell in the cabin.

BRITTNEY WU-Haul was very dirty not clean Gas level deferent than what they mentioned and I showed them and uploaded the photos to the Uhall system I surprised when I got the invoice there is charge 20$ extra for gas
HUSAM AThe management needs to make sure someone is available to properly check in the trucks physically. The truck I received was filthy with human feces, sand like dirt ans smelled of urine. This gas station location has a lot of homeless people and with this truck being left open meaning no lock a homeless person probably saw it as temporary shelter. This is a bad look for Uhaul not the gas station. Also the moving equipment such as Dolly's etc this gas station doesn't carry any of the equipment as advertised on the uhal site. No happy with the service at all.

Matthew BThough parking is difficult for both picking up and dropping off U-Haul out of this overcrowded gas station, but the two gentlemen that run the market and the U-Haul are very kind and accommodating. I've done business with them twice in the last two months, and I would do business with them again.

PAUL DThe location and business are terrible!! The people running the business are extremely rude,bad with customers!! When you talk to them, they talk to each other in their own language.In front of you not letting you know what they're speaking about!!Then they laugh! When you turn in the vehicle,they lie about the gas meter and mileage, and try to get more money out of you!!They yell at you about where the vehicle is parked after you turn in the keys to the vehicle!! They also threaten you!! I absolutely do not want anyone to rent any type of u haul from them.And I will spread the word about them !! They are awful and terribly rude business owners!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! They Absolutely should not have a license to rent any type of vehicle to the public!! They "SUCK"!!!!!
Don MThe app would not geo locate and held me there for 1 hour and 15 minutes while I had movers waiting costing me money. I finally got support to instruct me to use the website which worked finally. This created so much stress. Time and money. I complained to uhaul and the fix was a credit of $25. What a slap in the face. Especially after I already rented a 26' truck, a 10' truck and a motorcycle trailer for my move. Bad PR.

Dillon BEvery aspect of my choosing U-Haul to fulfill the services needed for my out of state move were extremely poor. Not only did I have to change my plans because within the first day or two of driving the truck rental and beginning my trip, I realized that it was incredibly unsafe, specifically the brakes not working properly when driving on the freeway. This has been within the first few hours of my driving the rented truck and I realized immediately that there was zero chance that this vehicle would be safe enough to complete the cross country trip if planned. Every communication with U-Haul staff via phone had been flat out lies. The most important part being the $2400 I was immediately charged upon first picking up the rental and when I was forced to change my plans and remain within the same city limits that I'd started in, I called U-Haul once again regarding this charge. I was told over this call that upon returning the truck I would only be charged for the days and miles I'd used the truck for and the original $2400 charge would be returned to my account. This did not happen. The day after I returned the truck I received a receipt with a $0 owed balance and no return of the original charge. There are multiple other issues with this entire experience that were very poor but this is obviously the most important at this time. I will be reporting this fraud with bank and following up with U-Haul relentlessly and until my money is returned and what I'd been told by staff is actually completed. I will never again use U-Haul for any services and I will also warn anyone I speak with who are in the process of planning to move to avoid this company at all costs. This wasn't only poor service, this entire experience was flat out fraud.
Helen MI had a horrible experience this time. The guy at this location gave us the wrong truck and after we left he kept calling us in the middle of moving to bring the truck back since it had an engine problem. He kept calling and harassing us and we decided to bring the truck back after a few hours. We were scared that the truck would stop in the middle of the road. I'm very unsatisfied this time and would like to be refunded. I won't be picking up from this location in the future and this time it was waste of my money!! Horrible
Lily JThe tire pressure check turned on about 30 min after starting my drive i recommend regular checkups on the condition of the vehicle so that a driver wont have issues during their rental
Jeffrey PI've been renting U-Haul trucks for years. This place by far is the worst slow incompetent. They tried to lie about the gas that I put back into the vehicle. I would never ever rent from this place again they are trash. I should actually have my money refunded back to me.
Richard LUsing the app to pick up a rental is very challenging especially to have 2 people verify your identity. Alit if steps to go through though we understand U-Haul need for more security.

Anton SEmployees were not helpful. I believe his name was AJ. When I told him I also payed for a dolly he told me they didn't have any. And when I asked again they told me to confirm I payed for one and then the miraculous had one. When I advised them I payed for a appliance one they advise that they only had the smaller one and not to worry because it was all the same price. I advise them that was incorrect that the one I requested was more expensive they just told me if I wanted it or not. Horrible customer service. That and above the first location also not being able to get me my rental was a horrible experience overall. I will not be using Uhaul ever again with employees as disrespectful as I dealt with at the location.

Marina CThe three different representatives (pick up and return, then followup) at this location seemed detached and not very concerned with the rental service process. They are primarily the service station attendants and provided limited attention to my rental experience. They gave me the key and took the key back upon the return. I did not receive a closing statement to my contract #24461755 and I could not contact anyone thereafter as the phone number listed to this location (818)456-0055 is out of service. I had to travel back after one week to question my bill and I was referred to call the corporate office to determine and confirm my closing charge. Customers should be able to speak to individuals representing U-Haul who are more responsible for the rental service. I was expecting a credit to the estimated closing charge since the used mileage was 50 % less. I should not have to search for my closing statement.
Ferdinand MI can't tell whether or not the equipment was well maintained, however, the outside and inside of the equipment was dirty. Not filthy, just dirty. The windshield hadn't been washed, the cab internal hadn't been vacuumed.
Doug LThe vehicle was generally clean but could use a slightly better wipe down. Also, I forgot to tell the attendant that the tire pressure light was coming on.
Joe MThe passenger side - mirror was broken. I noticed it had electrical tape. I would adjust it but then it would move when i hit a bump or etc. huge safety issue cuz u need the side mirrors to perform lane changed and checking the blindspot. That was my only issue.
