Easy-ish drop off place. No frills
Thomas EThey closed early, during the time we were going to pick up the truck. The person on the phone at this location got very rude, said they were a car wash, not a uhaul, and I should be thankful he was helping me at all. I WILL NOT be using this location ever again.

Benjamin BDidn't give me the dolly I ordered. Was forced to go back the next day when hey opened which put me behind schedule. Truck cab was not clean. Floor was dirty, passenger door didn't want to close all the way.

Daniel SInspect the trailers. The hitch was hard to tighten. When the guy hooked it up he thought it was tight but it fall off of my truck when I was going down the road.
Sean CInitial order acknowledgment showed Requested Pick Up Cameron Park- Correct. Then it changed to El Dorado Hills. I called and confirmed that's where the truck was.BUT the pads, hand truck and dolly were missing so they added them back. Then it changed to Roseville. I called in and was told that didn't matter it was in El Dorado Hills. Then I got a call from the Cameron Park office and they said none of that mattered then truck is at their office. They said they would not be open when I picked up the truck so just check in on line and I will get the code for the lockbox to get the keys. I checked in on line and uploaded pictures of my drivers licence etc. did not get a code. Called in they told me I would have to check in again at the site using a different process. Got to the site at 4:30pm. Found the check in process- failed because it could not LOCATE me as being at the site. It took over an hour and a half on the phone to determine that my phone was not set up to allow location determination. It took three tries to upload a picture of me and I had to take pictures of my licence again. It still did not pass. The lady on the phone finally said she had enough and gave me the code. Got the code and the keys. THEN....there was no gas in the truck (not sure if this is standard but not used to an empty rental). THEN the radio didn't work. THEN..there was a rolling Dolly included that was supposed to be a small hand truck. THEN when I dropped it off the only thing the guy said was- I'll take a picture- send it to my boss and your good to go...nothing about how I will find out how much I paid. Nothing about how I would get an email explaining the actual charges. Overall- each person I worked with was Great...but they were working with a complicated and demanding process and sometimes they were not accurate. I haven't rented a truck in years...but this was NOT a Good experience...even though I really liked most of the people.
Dave SThe owner of this location was completely unprofessional and not only did he make his employee look bad in front of me…he also insinuated that I (his customer) did something wrong on the app that caused me to be charged twice the rate. He is a horrible person and because of him I will NEVER do business here again. I have been a faithful U-haul customer for MANY years and have NEVER been talked down to like I was by this person. I just moved into this area and I will tell everyone I know NOT to do business here. And I know a LOT of people working in healthcare. Sucks to be YOU!

Gus GThis is not a reflection on the location at all, this is a Uhaul complaint. I reserved a van Sunday for this afternoon (Tuesday) at a location 15 miles closer to my home as they said it was available. This morning I got a text that was no longer the case. Normally not an issue, but since you pay per mile, the rental cost was 20$ more due to no fault of my own. Annoying if you ask me.

JOSH PTold me 12 pm on. Wednesday, & called me saying it was supposed to be back at 9:30am…then over charged me after I put more gas in than there was when I started.
Donelle AHad to help them move trailers around and we dropped the trailer off 3 hours before scheduled drop off but then we got charged for an extra day and were submitted as dropping the trailer off at 5:30 which was not true.

Irfan YThey struggled with the computer system, had me reselect a drop off point, I had to remind them I wanted the insurance and to give me an appliance hand truck, they struggled to locate an appliance hand truck that matched the system and they kept me there longer than they should have. It delayed me over an hour. Your costs are highway robbery. I should not have had to pay $1 000 for a trailer to go one way from CA to CO. In fact, I'm thinking of reporting this and have my Congressman look into.

Aria RI booked it a week in advance, and two days before I am scheduled to pick it up, I get a call that I actually have to pick it up an hour away. The people on the phone were extremely rude and did not care at all. Next, when it was picked up, the person did not properly attach it to the car, so after leaving it unattached from the car. Luckily, we were able to pull over and re-attach, but it could have caused a serious accident or damage to our car. It's unacceptable. Next, the U-Haul workers at this location told us to drop it off at a different location in Los Angeles than requested. They said the new information would be emailed. However, nothing was ever emailed to me AT ALL. We were left confused where to drop it off and had to call for help yet again. Last, I was told I would pay $117 for this, BUT I was charged over $123, and I can't find an itemized receipt anywhere that shows what the $6 extra charge is. I now have to wait 1,5 hours for someone to call me back just to ask why I am being charged a different amount. If it's some sort of tax, of course that's fine, but my receipt does not say where this additional charge comes from. It's absolutely wrong to charge my card a random amount with zero explanation. There was an issue with this reservation quite literally at every step. This was an absolutely awful experience, and I will try to avoid U-Haul at all costs in the future. I am so frustrated and disappointed from this experience.
Erin HI called before I was to turn in the truck to tell them I needed to keep it extra days parked right down the street because my home was not done being painted I wanted to leave the stuff in there and I asked them how much a day she told me 2999 so I kept it almost 2 weeks extra then when I go to drop it off it’s $1000 oh well there’s insurance well the staff never told me that and I called twice and asked another person I just want to reiterate I still have the truck she quoted me 2999 a day and he goes oh yeah that’s fine a joke and I am going to dispute this very unhappy and would not recommend

MICHAEL RPick up was fast and person was friendly. It quickly went downhill after that. Equipment was dirty on the outside and inside with multiple damages that were not marked - some photos were submitted through your app. I rented the equipment for 3 days with 100 miles included. After 2 days check engine light came on and the engine ran rough. Had to use dad's truck to finish the job. Returned the UHaul a day early due to the engine issue. The location didn't check the truck in for two days after being retuned so got charged for 5 days and no 100 free miles - cost was more than twice original quoted price. Contacted pick up location who reluctantly agreed to help by contacting area manager. eventually got a response saying they were charging only $142,09 (in line with original agreement but without any discount for not being able to use the truck for the full charged term) however, I also got another charge of $258,49 more than doubling the original cost. I'm still trying to sort this mess out while I am now out of the US on a 14-hour time difference. I'm not sure what happened here but something went VERY wrong on UHaul's side, and someone needs to step up and take care of it. I am contactable by email and can call if given a direct number (not the wait on hold for more than an hour customer "service" number)
Steven WThe two pick up and drop off locations were fine. The Fremont Ca. Location where I thought I was going to be able to pick up the truck did not provide me with the right information. I was offered a early pick up , in Santa Cruz , about 75 miles away !!! What type of service is this!!! I wasn't told how the one way truck rentals work. I was given extra miles due to the pick up location , big deal!! I had to pay for more gas!! I will not use your services again. Very very disappointed with the lack of transparency in your operation. I will also post on Yelp!!
john bDropped off vehicle a day early, was charged for returning it a day late. There are no clear markings of where return is. There are no clear return instructions. Basically hand over keys to staff and hope for best. Person that helped us was VERY nice, just seemed to be following how they do things. Had to spend an hour on phone with customer service to get refund of charge that should never have happened.

john kThere was a bit of a mix-up with a furniture dolly. Owner thought I wanted to rent one. I said I wanted a regular hand truck and an appliance hand truck. He sent me to another uhaul dealer for one and extra pads. But then I got a $75 charge for the furniture dolly when I tried to drop the uhaul off at my destination. Luckily the lady at that end believed me and chopped the $75. Strange.
sean OThere was some confusion when I returned the truck, due to the receipt showing a discrepancy in the gas gauge amount when I picked the truck up. Reggie, the owner, was very helpful in making sure that the discrepancy with your company receipt was rectified before I left the premises, making sure I wouldn't have to deal with any problems down the road.
William HHave rented the motorcycle trailer more than a few times. Always clean and good mechanical order...I recommend them..

Doing so generat4ed 14 extra miles and a 25 min wait for Uber. Do Not call customer and change locations

Edwin FHad I known how easy & cost effective renting an Auto Transport (Car Trailer) was at Uhaul I would have been using them many times before. I was in and out with the trailer in about 20 min. They asked a few questions about my truck & what I was putting on the trailer, & they had an easy process by way of a text Message to scan a pic of my drivers license. The next time Im in need of anything that Uhaul has I will be back to this location in Cameron Park specifically. Thank you for such an easy hassle free experience.
Michael OThis time the truck was not cleaned to past standards. I was never given a contract to sign. I was charged an extra day.
Eric HService was great, friendly, astute, attentive. However the truck did have 2 problems. 1) moderate odor of animal urine in cabin. 2 Drivers side door / window not sealed well when closed and made a lot of wind noise while driving. This was no foreseeable fault of locations owner / manager and I would recommend this location for U-Haul rental.
