Maybe double check your trucks when renting them out. Truck I received still had stuff in the back from previous renter and trash in the cab. I also was charged $21 more for gas even putting $20 gas in and calling to tell them it only has 1/4 tank. I took pics of it all, the mileage, gas and trash. Not even an apology or a refund.

I used a rental truck from Carolina Pack N Go Movers and they were very helpful and responsive. I had an issue with my contact and equipment rented and they responded very quickly and fixed the problem. I spoke to Justin and he went above and beyond to help me. I would recommend using this group for any moving needs.

Very helpful people who make sure your needs are met. Need to get Google map fixed and put on their website and Google map that it is wrong and what shopping plaza they're in. Also the UHaul software wasn't working right and couldn't get it to recognize the truck on their lot was available. I finally got the truck after 1 1/2 hours because of the UHaul software.

Was notified the evening before pickup pickup location had changed the location did not open until 8 am had uhaul movers scheduled for 830 whichade me late getting there....also the truck was supposed to have half tank of gas, only had one quarter which meant I had to stp for gas before loading very unhappy woth uhaul

I was told that I was financially responsible for a tow Dolly supposedly missing/ stolen from their lot, because my name was on the rental contract. My stated plan as to rent a truck and tow dolly, load the truck, and return with loaded truck for them to hitch up the tow, and secure my car. When I returned to Mountain Packing, I was met by a man in the parking lot who had no visible connection with UHaul…uniform, name tag, etc., who started into this long explanation about why the dolly was not on the lot, how I had to file a police report because my name was on the rental contract. 12 hours and two other UHaul dealers later, I finally was shown and charged a second time for a tow Dolly.(equipment and insurance), only to face the reality that my Toyota Corolla could not be towed by any UHaul equipment without ripping the front bumper off my car. 1. Why could not any one have told me 12-24 hours earlier after seeing my car in the business parking lot, that it could not be towed without causing damage. 2. Why was I accused/held responsible for UHaul equipment that didn't exist. 3. Why have I been charged over $800 for a truck I DID use, yes, but equipment, fees, and insurance for two different tow Dollie's that not only were NOT used, were IMPOSSIBLE to use without damaging my car. The result of this fiasco was that two people had to accompany me on the move out of state…one to drive my car, and the other to drive a third car for their return trip. I hope an actual person sees this and will work on my behalf to rectify the huge financial, physical, and mental burden this has placed on an already stressful moving experience. First of all the app wasn't working at all so my son had to go through his phone to try to get the mobile reservation to work so we started out late then when I got in the truck it's dunk of smoke cigarette smoke and then there was an engine light on that said maintenance tires so I got out and I looked at the tires they seem to be all filled but the same time shouldn't have to get into a truck with an engine light on The pastor Visa was missing a clip so that was hanging down all in all it was a horrible experience and also the truck wasn't filled with fuel was 3/4 of it away filled so that was a pain in the ass to bring it back the same three quarters filled

I don't think the average person should be expected to hook up his own trailer. Lifting the trailer, installing the chains properly and making sure the lights work should be part of the service U-Haul provides. At this location it is not.

My location was changed four times in 36 hour period. The drop off location had no box to. deposit the keys. Apparently it had been stolen days prior ( we found this out after this episode)So at 9pm in Charlotte with no box and I'm supposed to figure it out on my own. Simple fix would have been to not allow drop offs at a location with no place to leave keys! No common sense. Will not use or recommend ever.

Very nice equipment every thing worked as it was suppose to. Towed like it was not there. Will use again. Thank you to all the people at UHAUL for a great experience Has non applicable 2x (did not go in Dropped off Xmas day)(did not speak to or see anyone)

I had to wait for my truck to be brought to the location. My pick up time was 9 and i didn't leave until 10. And I was charged an extra 20 dollars. Yea had to go back and ask for the appliance dolly

They did not have the pads I reserved. Did not make effort to find them at another location. The employee didn't know what she was doing. Took an hour to print contract. After calling another location for help. Did not inspect the truck with me and did not give any operating instructions. Very rude.

Location not willing to checkin rental at proper return time. I was told by staff that the rental would not be checked in until 9am when "the guys" arrived at work. Rental was due back by 8:30ish. I was expected to leave the rental at location while still liable for anything that may happen to it between check in time and time staff was available to properly check in rental.

This location saved the day by coming through with a 26' truck and dollies when our original location (reserved and confirmed) gave our truck away. The crew here was helpful and kind. Our heroes!

Be sure to check in the returns. We had lots of packing blankets that came with the truck. But they were wet! Who could use that? We dried them in the sun so the next person didn't have to deal with that but it was quite a surprise. We luckily had our own packing materials.

Charged us $87 for a 1/4 tank of gas. Had a 1/2 tank and 228 mile range when I picked. Dropped it off with 1/4 tank and 144 mile range. I think they got us on that one. And no AC

HOWEVER, the Problem was that when we arrived at the drop-off location (525 S Grove St) YOU specified. The doof told us "he cant take the trailer" and that "he had worked out a deal" with the "new guy" over at Carolina Pack and Go, to take equipment. So we find Caroline Pack and Go and dropped off the trailer, only to be told that they had NO AGREEMENT with the the jerk at Grove St. That A$$hole at Grove St was LYING to my face, and made the other dealer and UHAUL look bad. Your district manger has to crack down on the "drop-off poker", and GET RID OF the dimwit at Grove St, before he embarrasses your further.

1. Originally tried to charge me more than twice as much as what I had already agree to when I reserved the truck until I showed them my printout from the reservation and insisted that I be charged that amount contrary to the owner who claimed I was the one who had made a mistake when I overheard him talking to the man checking me out. 2. Truck was dirty in cab and back. Passenger mirror was broken and taped. Not all equipment worked. No checkout or instruction given or offered whatsoever. 3. Gas was actually below the empty mark on fuel tank not like what was on the paperwork, and the mileage was also 40 miles over what was on the paperwork. 4. The odometer etc. display did not work because a warning light was constantly displayed about a tire pressure monitor problem. 5. Then to top it all off, unfairly charged me a $53 cleaning fee after I dropped the truck off, for leaving a small clean pallet I had already removed from the back of the truck and was getting ready to break down, when one of their employees asked if I was going to throw it away. I said yes and he asked if he could have it for his chickens and I asked if he was sure. He said yes, and I said fine with me. I can ignore the 1st 4 items since the bill was finally reconciled per my reservation, and I did not get stranded since I put gas in immediately but want the unwarranted cleaning fee of $53 returned to my credit card. I have rented many U-Haul trucks and trailers over the years, but I feel this was the most dishonest place I have ever done business with.

When the truck you reserved isn't there and you get stuck with a smaller truck and a trailer, don't hold your breath waiting for an area manager to get your final bill back to the amount of the original reservation.

Great people…. Arrived 20 minutes early and wanted to know where I was…I didn't get there until 10 minutes before the hour.lol That's what I like showing up early and being ready to go. Hired them to unload the truck and realized that was where I needed to drop it off too…. I didn't even have to go to the facility from the drop off location. They took care of it there and gave me a ride to the airport as well. All 3 of the gentlemen were polite and did exactly as I asked. There was a little confusion on my end about the 2 hour minimum. Apparently that is fairly standard in the industry. Would highly recommend them. Merci

People pleasant and helpful but they have only been open a week and currently have limited parking available to them in a mall parking lot. We were met by a gentleman in the parking lot who unhooked us. Never saw a building/office. He arrived in a truck.
