Chanel BThis location is easy to get into and out of and they have a good variety of rentals including my favorite size truck which is the 17' length. Also friendly, helpful and frankly, hard-working staff. I am now planning to make all my rentals from this location when I can.
GEORGE SHave your employees not tell their customers they don't have time to deal with them and to take the broker trailer and go. I'm a real nice calm guy. I've never been treated this way before. My ill and post surgery mother in law and I were miss handled greatly. We made an advance booking online and it turned into us having to go to four different U-Haul locations because no one had what we booked. Lost a whole day of packing because we were at the U-Haul dealer. Due to the long checkout process we had to cancel our moving crew Friday evening. We were unable to do our apartment check out Saturday morning. I'll now have to do a check out with apartment management Monday morning. Causing me to miss more work. I loose working money. Maybe no one cares. Maybe there's nothing you can do about it. But being kinder, having good equipment checked/maintained and more efficiency in service time would help customers not have such a traumatic domino effect on their lives. What should have been a sooth fast process took hours. My mother in law who had a big shoulder surgery just 3 days ago missed her medication time because of all the unexpected hiccups with U-Haul and her pain/swelling went sky high. We booked a truck and car trailer, but due to U-Haul we did not get our rented car trailer to pull the car behind the truck. Now I will have to figure out where to leave our car parked $$$ in Texas while I move my mother in law to Indiana, find a way and time to fly back $$$ to Texas, and drive the car myself to Indiana. More missed payday work for me -$$$ and have to drive the car up , gas $$$, plus another hotel stay $$$. All because U-Haul did not come through for us. So disappointed. Let down. No one probably reads these messages. Of if someone does , my deepest apologies. I would not like that job. I'm not the kind of person to post hate on reviews or social media. Don't worry. But thought you should know how our experience was.

matthew dI took the vehicle back yesterday and received a notification just now that rental is return. The place has multiple dogs running around. Not clean at all. The vehicle was not clean with blurry windshield from dirt.
ISMAEL MCarefully examining the equipment before customer takes the equipment. Our trailer's front tire blew out on an interstate. A metal piece of the trailer had punctured the wheel causing the blowout. We waited over 2 hours on the shoulder of the busy interstate for roadside assistance with an infant in the truck. After waiting and getting the tire replaced, we had to drive to another location to switch out the trailer because we were told the original trailer wasn't safe to drive.

Ronald OI paid for safe move roadside assistant, but was charged $150 for accidentally locking the key in the cabin.

Libere NI was immediately assisted with parking and unhooking the trailer. This location was great. On a separate note, there was no location to drop off a trailer in Elgin or Manor which forced to me to drive back to Austin. I feel both these towns are large enough to have a uhaul location. With many people moving east out of Austin it may be wise to expand to these areas.
alex PThe staff acted as if they didn't know what they're doing. Besides a very long wait, they asked questions as if I was just making the reservation. It had been done at least a week before.
SERGIO LTook a day for me to get confirmation that the truck had been turned in. Only received that confirmation after I had made several calls. Initial booking was with Richarson, Picked up the truck from Royce City hence the extra miles. Had been informed at pick up that the extra miles from the pick up location which is 45 miles away would be factored in but I was still charged 9 for extra miles

The website timed out and wouldn't give me the code and that's when he verified I had everything submitted properly and got me the keys I was very thankful for him otherwise I would of been stuck without a truck. Great place to rent from!

Jose LI desperately needed a furniture dolly and included one in my rental to arrive to pick up the truck and find out that they had none at their location. Me and my daughter moving one large and heavy armoire rented a whole large truck to get the ramp and use a furniture dolly. I could have rented a smaller truck with no ramp because we had to lift it ourselves to get it in the truck and the ramp was useless without the dolly. It was critical and if rented and not available, someone should tell you that before hand. I had no time and no choice but to take the truck and do the best we could.

samuel sDidn't have correct dolly. Starting mileage was not correct. Starting fuel level was not correct. Moving sheets were dirty. Customer service reps were all very nice and helpful. I was not overcharged for the above issues.

Jonathan TWas charged 3,5 gallons of gas. This is while I had done the same as well. So this extra charge was a surprise.
SEYED JAdd insurance to my reservation without telling me. Because credit card information was asked at the time of reservation, so Uhaul basically can charge customer any hidden fees as they wanted. I end up paying more than $50 as I was told at the time of reservation on line.
SHU LThere is room for improvement with the facility's lighting. It was hard for me to park the U-Haul at night.
DINESH RThe truck was clean but the maintenance on that vehicle is another thing. Main issue was the misfiring and constantly dying out at a stop sign and the feeling of being stranded during a 1100 mile trip Second issue was breaking it will pull to the left. Third issue was the tires were all choppy which means very uncomfortable ride (constant vibration). The fourth issue was when it actually died and I was 100 miles away from my designation trying to call roadside assistance was a pain you call the one 800 number they tell you to use the online process but out in the middle of a cornfield was a little bit hard for data services so after an hour A figuring that out and then waited another 30 minutes I tried to start my U-Haul truck it turned on and I went balls to the walls to get to my destination and when I was about 10 minutes away that's when the roadside assistance called me back which is a bit of BS.
