Gunner HudspethMy problem wasn't with the Tomohawk location. My problem started when I made reservations Wednesday night to pickup Friday. Thursday Nov30th 7:15am I received a call saying truck wouldn't be available for pickup Friday Dec1st and if I wanted to get it I would have to pickup that exact day but closest location was Crugar (30 miles away) and I let CS Agent know that I reserved the truck for Friday because that's the day funds would be available on card Agent assured me that I wouldn't have to pay at time of pickup but I would when I drop off that Saturday so I agreed to pick up.I paid a friend $25 to take me there the 30 miles away only to get there and be told that I couldn't pickup because I would have to have the funds available and I let them kno agent told me I only had to pay during drop off. So the next day I tried again. Reserved the U-Haul but now they tell me to pick up in Tutweiler which is an additional 45 mins from the location in my area. So again I pay the same friend $40 to take he to pick up the rental and while 10 mins away from pickup location I was on the phone with an agent and she told me that no truck was available in tutweiler for me to pickup. I'm sure you can imagine my frustration by now. So now I'm livid and crying because my furniture has to be out of my house on Friday but still no truck. So now the agent tells me that grenada has a truck but it's not the 26 inch that I reserved all they had was a 20 ft so at this point I've already drove around the world and paid $65 to drive to these locations and still not have a truck. So again I agree to pick up in Grenada but I tell the agent I can't drop it off back in Grenada because I'm pressed for time so she told me I can do it One Way and drop off in greenwood so we set it up to pick up so I go to Grenada and pay $25 AGAIN to go to another location. That's $90 in total driving all over the world dealing with un organized hauling company. Truck was available but once I get the truck. NO DOLLY OMG I WAS LIVID ALL OVER AGAIN! I PAID FOR THE DOLLY AND DIDNT RECEIVE IT! Contacted CS and let them know and also let them know that without the dolly I was pressed for time and it was just me moving my furniture and only to find out they wanted me to drop off in a Crugar and I wasn't scheduled to drop off in Crugar I agreed to do ONE-WAY! Turned the truck in the following day and received my receipt only to find out that I HAVE A BALANCE! I PRAY I NEVER NEED TO RENT FROM U-HAUL IN THE FUTURE BECAUSE I CRIED FOR 2 DAYS STRAIGHT FROM BEING STRESSED AND I STILL DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETELY MOVE ALL OF MY THINGS. I'm waiting for my $50 deposit. My refund for the dolly, and my mileage also. 3/10 I DEFINITELY WOULDNT RECOMMEND .

Stanley buckBottom line U-Haul you need to re-evaluate these tiny pick up places and force them to upgrade their locations with the proper signage, lock boxes, presentation and cleanliness. Most of these operations are actually hurting you, clean them up or close them down, my pickup experience was a train wreck!

So had to send someone to the location. I'm in another city, hours away from U-Haul location. It's a business and someone needs to answer the phone.

Ashley CarpenterWonderful guy. He didn't have the 5x8 I originally asked for but the 4x8 worked just fine. Trey came out and hooked everything up and made sure I was taken care of. Its good to see that some places still have good service. If I need another uhaul, this is where I will go.
Earl McadamsThe pickup location is quite far out of town and has huge potholes that were full of water and mud. The location did not have the 12 blankets for us that were ordered with the trailer.
Mark BinkleyAs i was renting the auto transport, the guy (trey) asked if i wanted u-haul insurance, I DECLINED THE INSURANCE but when i returned it and looked at my receipt, I WAS CHARGED ANYWAY FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE WHICH I CLEARLY DID NOT ASK FOR!!!!

Derek SellersI was sent to this location after originally reserving for the equipment in Starkville. There is an inconvenient factor UHaul doesn't seem to recognize other than adding extra miles. I was coming from out of state and almost had to pay for a hotel that I couldn't use given the change of pick-up location. Uhaul need to either 1) hold the reservation better and/or 2) notify the customer 72 hours or more of any pick-up location changes.

Doris CheeksHe did not give me all the information needed. Did not let me know there would be an after hours drop off fee. He charged me an extra $21 and said it was corporates fault. And did not give me a copy of my contract. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Very poor customer service. And would not return my calls I had to go back to the location to speak with him again.
