Absolutely a joke, had to go out and lift a tandem trailer on to my hitch by myself which just screwed up my lower back to the point of numbness in my arms and right leg. Guy never left the counter. l was shocked to say the least. Never sent the drop of location . This place changed my entire outlook on this company allowing people like this to represent their rental company.

They were just as mad I was about the experience I had with the equipment I was rented. They couldn't believe they didn't inspect the trailer before I left the lot. Also this isn't the first time they have heard horror stories about them...

"Ray" was very RUDE. I dropped off the 17' UHaul as instructed 4/6/19. They were "closed" at 4:30 Sat. so we left truck outside in lot in front of door & placed keys in drop box. On 4/10/19-- 4 days extra rental, etc was charged to my debit card. I called Ray in Castle Rock, WA (Castle Rock Auto) and he was rude from the beginning. After quite an discussion he said he would credit my account immediately. Then he said I left the seat of the truck dirty (sticky and dog hair) We had NO animals in the truck, no drinks nor food nor smoke! Instead of crediting my account he charged me $25 for CLEANING! I called Van the regional Rep and he kindly took care of the credits due me and was very professional and apologetic. He took care of the issue immediately. Thanks to Van I will continue to use UHaul but Castle Rock Auto/UHaul I will NOT. Very poor customer service and unprofessional.

Closed at 4pm, our 24hrs was till 6:04. This is where we were directed. They then charged us $40 dollars for a extra day even though we used the key drop and contract drop as instructed. Rip off

It would have been nice to know that the day after my pick up date the price per mile went from $1.09 to $0.89. That would have saved me $50. I could have easily made plans to move things the next day. Also the Uhaul was dirty. I have pictures of the dirty Uhaul. The floor in the back of the Uhaul was dirty with dirt/mud. I stained 1 of the items I moved because of it. The cab on the Uhaul smelled like cigarettes. I had my 7 year old son with me. The ashtray had cigarettes and ashes in it. The only nice part about my experience was the fact that the guy the worked at that location was super friendly, professional, and cool. If I decide to use Uhaul again I will for sure go back to that location. Thanks, Brian Wellin

Don't give away the next customer's reserved truck. Make sure it's actually cleaned and not reeking of cigarette, full of dog hair and greasy food residue. I would like to add that the guy that helped me the morning of pickup was extremely nice and apologized for the mix up and gave me two air fresheners to try to make it better. I appreciate him.

Your call in customer center is horrible!! The original booking agent led me to believe she arranged drop off as well. She blatantly lied, on recording, I had to call back the day of renting, sit on hold for 20 minutes and talk to two different people to return the vehicle. Your business sucks!!!

Allow 2 weeks to reserve a truck instead of one week. We do a yearly canned food drive and use U-Haul trucks to bring the food to the food bank and would like to be able to reserve the truck 2 weeks before the drive.

I dropped the trailer off after closing on the 5th day and today I was charged for 3 days late. Will be refusing that on my credit card and never using u-haul again. Ignorance in the drop off location. Ignorance thru corporate on the phone. Extremely poor service.

The uhaul web app kept crashing on the clerk but they remained composed and apologetic for the delay. I actually got only 5 miles down the road with a car dolly but had to return due to car trouble and while I did not feel like I was entitled to a refund the clerk went above and beyond his responsibility and was able to give a partial refund almost half the cost I am very appreciative of that and his courtiousness.

Nick was extremely rude when I explained that my brother was in a bad auto accident I would not be able to pick up the truck on that exact date but maybe the next. His main issue was he came in early to pick the truck up from Longview and they get a commission for each uhaul truck they rent out..

gas guage reading on contract did not match truck gauge for start of rental--they could update contract-so the added a hand written note which was accepted at dropoff called them iniltially for terms for a truck rental--rates/terms were totally different than I received after I called uhaul Vancouver 360-356-1577 the folks at uhaul Vancouver were a pleasure to work with.

I called to see about the price to extend another day and I didn't tell me the insurance was per day... The cab smelled like sweaty fat guy. Yuck! I wouldn't have purchased insurance if I knew it was per day I paid insurance for a day the truck didn't drive

Tell the customer what they should do would help. I was left at the counter, after the guy yelled for someone else 3 times, and I didn't know if I could go or had to stay. Finally the guy who was being yelled for earlier came out and told me I could go and the receipt would be emailed.

You can either include milage in the price for a flat rate and not charge for gas or just bend us over like you did and fuck us! The gas tank wasn't full so really hard to guage how much gas to put back in and then to pay .99$ per mile on top of that was way too much for a local move

I am very disappointed in my recent move with U-haul in general, but also this location. I made my reservation for this location in advance and the day prior to pickup I was called by U-haul to notify me that the pickup site had been changed to a location 20 miles away. Only several calls and insistence was I able to pick up at this location and even then they did not have the furniture pads I had ordered requiring me to drive to a location(40 miles round trip) to be able to have them that day. They also had to substitute other equipment which was comparable, but not my preference.

The ramp on the truck was broken and when I pulled it out I could not get it back in. There turned out to be a broken piece hanging down that was keeping the ramp from going back in. I had to crawl under the truck and have someone push the ramp I fed it back into place, I then had to tie the ramps broken piece up and in place. It was a bit of a disaster overall as I had some heavy stuff to move and was on a tight schedule. Otherwise okay except this and a discount would have been in order but none was offered.

Real friendly staff. The U-haul 800 number rep was trying to get me to take the trucks to another location instead of the agreed drop off of castle rock. These folks got the trucks dropped iff at castle rock for me, the rep on the phone wasn't nice but the frop off people were great.

Clerk was helpful, and followed through with a phone call, did a great job in spite of the computer being "web page down". Also, the Castle Rock, WA location was NOT on the website, found out it was "there" purey by chance.

Make sure there is someone there that can do the paperwork for rental appointment was for 8:00 was not able to pick up truck tell after 10:00 witch put my whole day off. Then when I was done the person could not do the payment paperwork so I had to go back the next day then someone that could do it would be there
