I went to image auto body first and the combination didn't work. I was there over a hour but the agent was very good and changed locations for me. I had to catch Uber at the first location then the second. Not happy with no one at image auto body to help on a Saturday. Bad business practice. Saturday is probably the busiest day to rent a Uhaul and no one at the location ronald B.

Very poor check in and out experience. I was standing in the middle of the parking lot for 15+ mins waiting for an â€œapprovalâ€ in order to get the key. No phone number to call just â€œwaitingâ€. Then some one called Tasha responded with a demand of â€œanother contactâ€ or passport or a rental lease agreement for verification. I've provided another contact for the self checkout process. How many do you need? Just one more. Why didn't the system just tell me to put in TWO contacts in the first place but had someone to tell me get another person on board in the last minute when I was standing in the middle of the parking lot waiting? Otherwise you think I got my passport or other rental agreement handy for a U-Haul truck? Half an hour wasted. Then the return process was a nightmare. The process got stuck in the middle of sending photos. Now what? Is it done? Should I wait for someone? It kept saying â€œinternal errors have occurredâ€. Another half an hour wasted. No, I won't recommend U-Haul anymore until there's absolutely no other options available.Koon C.

Very easy process to get my uhaul. I got a call from the store right when I was supposed to pick up my rental truck. The guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful.Robert P.

Attendant and in person customer service was great. It's the U-Haul site and inability to add on another driver that made the experience inconvenient. The location services do not work with dropping off and makes it hard to check in. I was overcharged for 2 days because of this.MARIAN M.

I returned truck on same day & a total of 5 hrs . When I returned truck , I wasn't able to download u-haul app for return. So I was charged 3 extra days for rental . My mileage was 18 miles . RIDICULOUSNoah S.

I was surprised an alarmed and how poor the condition of this van was in. It was dangerous to drive and was not properly ready for me. I expect more from renting from U-Haul. Why are these vans not maintained? There were several times that the car would not move even though it was in drive. I was stuck at the gas pump for a time because the car would not move after filling it up with gas. I cannot see myself renting from U-Haul again based on my last experience.NATHANIEL B.

Returning the van was quite a hassle and annoying and makes you lose your temper. Getting the van was smooth and the agent was very nice. You should improve your procedure to make it easier without sacrificing your desire of avoiding threat of thief.ROBERT V.

I payed 30$ extra for a hand truck, furniture dolly, and half a dozen furniture pads and none of it was available when I picked up the truck. I tried calling U-Haul customer service about this and the first time I waited an hour, someone picked up (I could hear voices in the background) and they hung up before saying anything! I called again and waited, again, for an hour and no one picked up! I doubt I'll be refunded for the equipment I requested, in fact, I'm half expecting U-Haul to charge me for not returning the truck with the missing hand truck, furniture dolly, and furniture pads. My move was very unnecessarily stressful because of the incredible lack of customer service on U-Haul's behalf. Non-existent support and unfulfilled ordered items made for a terrible customer experience, I doubt I will ever use a U-Haul truck again.Kelly D.

I requested a online checkin but the website did not work properly and it did not detect my location, even though my GPS was on and I used google maps to get to the location. I got my uhaul truck 1 hr late and had to wait for a actual person to open the store. Not only that, the person that open the store was not a normal employee, she worked at a different location and was covering a shift that day. I only used the Uhaul truck for less than 6 hours, but I was charged for 2 days. Customer service was terrible, I was transferred numerous times during a call. I could not get someone to help me. Go to another location or just rent a truck through Home Depot. Worst rental experience I ever had.CLARENCE A.

I pulled out of the lot and noticed there was only a 1/4 tank of gas. I didn't have enough money on me to put gas in the truck until I got paid by my customer. So I drove around the block and returned the truck with not even a 1/2 mile on it. This asshole that works in the office said it doesn't matter, I drove off the lot and I have to pay for the full day including insurance. This POS does not belong in customer service at all.CARLOS M.
