Truck was old and I run able on freeway and had to use locals to get time my location; unable to swap with better running truck due to no other trucks available

Lori S.I walked in and reserved a moving van a week prior to the pickup date. When I arrived the van was as not available. What's the point of reserving when they do not provide what they promised. Very disappointing.

JOSEPHLAMBERT V.I was surprised an alarmed and how poor the condition of this van was in. It was dangerous to drive and was not properly ready for me. I expect more from renting from U-Haul. Why are these vans not maintained? There were several times that the car would not move even though it was in drive. I was stuck at the gas pump for a time because the car would not move after filling it up with gas. I cannot see myself renting from U-Haul again based on my last experience.
NATHANIEL B.Returning the van was quite a hassle and annoying and makes you lose your temper. Getting the van was smooth and the agent was very nice. You should improve your procedure to make it easier without sacrificing your desire of avoiding threat of thief.

HENRY M.I payed 30$ extra for a hand truck, furniture dolly, and half a dozen furniture pads and none of it was available when I picked up the truck. I tried calling U-Haul customer service about this and the first time I waited an hour, someone picked up (I could hear voices in the background) and they hung up before saying anything! I called again and waited, again, for an hour and no one picked up! I doubt I'll be refunded for the equipment I requested, in fact, I'm half expecting U-Haul to charge me for not returning the truck with the missing hand truck, furniture dolly, and furniture pads. My move was very unnecessarily stressful because of the incredible lack of customer service on U-Haul's behalf. Non-existent support and unfulfilled ordered items made for a terrible customer experience, I doubt I will ever use a U-Haul truck again.

MARIE B.I requested a online checkin but the website did not work properly and it did not detect my location, even though my GPS was on and I used google maps to get to the location. I got my uhaul truck 1 hr late and had to wait for a actual person to open the store. Not only that, the person that open the store was not a normal employee, she worked at a different location and was covering a shift that day. I only used the Uhaul truck for less than 6 hours, but I was charged for 2 days. Customer service was terrible, I was transferred numerous times during a call. I could not get someone to help me. Go to another location or just rent a truck through Home Depot. Worst rental experience I ever had.

JASMINE H.I pulled out of the lot and noticed there was only a 1/4 tank of gas. I didn't have enough money on me to put gas in the truck until I got paid by my customer. So I drove around the block and returned the truck with not even a 1/2 mile on it. This asshole that works in the office said it doesn't matter, I drove off the lot and I have to pay for the full day including insurance. This POS does not belong in customer service at all.

JIAXIN L.Gas tank should be filled up so the customer doesn't have to figure out how many gallons to replace. I ended up spending $10 on a 15 mile usage because i return it with full tank not knowing that it wasn't full when i rented it.

Al L.I had requested for a dolly and a furniture mover for my order, and it wasn't available the day of recovery. Customer service stated that for some unknown reason they were taken off my reservation, and I would have liked to been notified as to why. Better communication needed!

Alvin B.I went to check and pay for my rental truck. There was a miscommunication about my miles. I had to go home to reschedule with the traffic number. The traffic person said he could have modified the reservation so I would not have wasted a day. There was only one person, I had to wait both times I was picking my rental up.
