The person who helped me was Samantha Gutierrez. She was very rude and wanted to charge me for missing gas after I explained to her that the truck was given to me with 1/4 tank. While we were on the phone with the pickup location trying to get verification, she said her job was done and she put charges through for the vehicle and gas without waiting for us to resolve the situation. She then asked us to leave the office, she slammed the door, locked and lowered the shades. When I realized she hadn't given me a receipt, I knocked on the door but she wouldn't answer. I think that U-Haul should pull the license from this location.Susanne M.
You have trucks from the 1980's but expect people to download apps and upload drivers licenses....give people the old school option of just handing the license to the person at the desk and getting receipts printed and given in front of you.SEAN B.
The online check-in was one of the poorer experiences I've had in a long time. I uploaded my license the day prior and added quite a bit of info to my online acct. Regardless, the online check-in process the next day made me re-enter all that info. Additionally, there was a photo/facial identification step that should have been more clearly noted prior to having people make the choice between in-person and phone check-in. I don't know what you're doing with this info/data, if you're selling it or what. The whole online check-in process took about 20 minutes and we ended up having to call the 800# to complain. Uhaul, this is the last time you get our business. If you're reading this review, try Lugg or a rideshare instead of Uhaul. You'll get much better customer service.Brandon W.

The store was closed when I came to for my reservation. The car was not in good condition. Gas was nearly empty, tire pressure and oil change indicators we're on. I was not told about a after service hours charge.John H.

Road Construction makes after hours delivery impossible, but not reflected on the website. Was directed by security to drop vehicle off at a certain spot, then after returning via the website, was told I had to move the truck to the street because he couldn't allow the truck to be left in the warehouse. Location has no after hours key drop box so it just went in their office mailbox. This was a horrendously poor experience.Alex C.
If someone is doing a contact free pickup, tell them they need to submit additional information to be â€œapproved.â€ I made it to the location to pick up the vehicle and had no idea I needed to do additional steps, so I ended up wasting part of my rental time to go speak with a representative. I received multiple emails from uhaul and not one of them had a note about this.LAUREN K.

First of all my reservation was somehow cancelled. Miraculously someone returned a truck, smaller than what I reserved, so at least we had that. The truck was dirty in the cabin and was dusty in the cargo area. Cherry on top, I was charged $25 for cleaning, even though I returned the truck cleaner than it was. Would not recommend.ALDO M.

Rep seems very adamant that she provided correct information about the rental. she first gave me the wrong truck and made it seems like it was my fault that she had to cancel and reorder the truck. Did not tell me where the dropbox was if she would not be in the office.SAMON P.

When requesting the Uhaul online, there was no information that said if you do not select a drop off location, then you would have to drop off the truck at the same location as the pickup. There was also no warning that said some Uhual pickup locations do not do one-way trips. I found out the day I picked up the Uhual that I had to bring it back, which added another $300 charge. The woman assisting was not at all understanding or compassionate and this experience has ensured I will be using another company next time.KATHERINE G.

On October 4th 2021 at approximately 10 a.m. I rented a pickup truck from U-Haul. The truck only had a sixteenth amount of gas and was very filthy dirty and not sanitized per pandemic safety protocol. I made a report to U-Haul customer service on October 5th reference number 342584.Alton M.

Personnel seems overwhelmed and can't spend time to appropriately explain the return process and tried to get me rent a truck instead of a van that I wanted because the van was not yet prepped. Upon return of the truck, she can't spend time to inspect the van and give me a final bill. I worry that the bill will be higher if they find things that I can't be present to verify.GARY L.

Did not receive a full furniture pad pack, only received 6, then charged for the missing. There was confetti and empty wine bottles in the truck on pickup. When attempting to return the keys the metal door in front of the office was locked, after trying to use the app which wouldn't accept any pictures of the odometer taken; after being on hold for about an hour with technical support, who couldn't properly assist because they had outdated information provided by the location for after-hours drop off. Technical support said they added a note to our file that we would be arriving when the business opened in the morning, which actually opens the office for returns 45 minutes earlier than posted on their website and on Google business information, when I arrived early, we were informed the 6 furniture pads would need to be folded in the cabin, which is information that is not posted anywhere on the exterior of the office.Eric P.

The uhaul truck that we rented had an oil spill in the cargo area. We had to spend a lot of time cleaning it to make sure we didn't get our furniture dirty.DAVID M.

Hire friendly or the very least professional staff! The young woman behind the counter was rude and unprofessional! When I told her that my son and I noticed the cargo van we rented was not cleaned out and had tape and leaves all over the floor bed left by the former renter she replied "it wasn't in there when I looked in it" seemingly to accuse me of leaving it dity and went as far to say "I don't know what you put in there" I mean really!? Why would I tell you that it's in a mess in there if I was the one who left it a mess!? I'm not sure of what kinds of people she is used to dealing with or her moral character but I wouldn't lie about this like that. You need to hire better people to run your front desk, this young lady needs to be retrained on what customer service is..Jaden L.

The representative was not nice. I understand she probably deal with different type of people, but I wish she have treated us better. U haul provided us with pick up/drop off hours that didn't match up with the location. When we arrived at our u haul pick up time the site was already closed. We had to rush to return the uhaul by 7 (even though we paid for 6 hours and were told by u haul that we could drop off by 930) because gates were locked at 7. The location and staff was wonderful. Providing the correct number to call the office is important. Be honest about the price of the Rental Pads and how the rental works *Before* overcharging the customer. Be clear about office operating hours since the posted sign is incorrect. The van return process after hours was easy.DEBORAH R.

The vehicle had small chards of glass in the cargo area. I mentioned it to staff. Staff swept it out promptly. The interior windshield glass was dirty. I cleaned it. I did not notice the dirty windshield glass until after leaving the facility. I cleaned and adjusted the mirrors too. Fueled the vehicle and returned it with more gas than it had in the tank when I picked it up. I added 10 psi to all the tires, improving fuel efficiency from 11,9 to over 19 miles per gallon. The max. pressure listed was 80 psi, so I was able to bring them up to about 70 psi warm. By the time I dropped it off today, all 4 tires registered approximately 66 psi. Merci!DAVID W.

Customer service employees on site leave a lot to be desired in terms of their style of communication. One was not very knowledgeable about landmarks around the site which is a little difficult to find. The other was quite rude and not helpful when I had problems with the web check-in process. I probably was not a fan of just the location because it's not really where it says it was on google maps, also I wasn't super clear on the drop box location, I wish there was a sign or a box present that was more obvious since I Just dropped the key through the door.
