I'm highly upset and already filed a claim with my bank. I rented a uhaul from this location TWO MONTHS AGO. And had already paid what was owed at that time, again, TWO MONTHS AGO. My card was charged YESTERDAY for another $55,04 and that was not approved or owed. My number is 843-909-6235 if you would like to communicate on behalf of this matter. Otherwise, my bank will handle the return of my money. I tried to contact the person who manages the uhaul that I rented from and the phone apparently has been disconnected. I went down there to speak in person and someone had said they hadn't been in the office for 2 days. I'm very disappointed in this service and will not recommend that particular location to anyone.Emily D.
For over 48 hours no one answered the phone. No one was at the location. I ended up leaving the truck and dropping the keys in a lock box. I was not even sure the truck or keys would be found. Horrible area. No service in person or on the phone; corporate should consider revoking their license.Kim C.
When I arrived at my destination, I called U haul as instructed and was given a drop off location, which turned out to be a gas station with a drop box, no personnel to inspect the truck. There was no instructions where to park the truck , no U haul signage. I have to call another locations for information and ending up going to a different location to drop off the truck. This place has to be the most unprofessional location ever. No one is ever working so you can forget asking questions. I was notified at the last minute that some one would be late for pick up because everyone called out. Once it was time to return no one could be found. I was charged for an additional day without warning, did I mention no one is ever at this location? So the issues I ran into upon returning, I had to deal with and as a result I was charged an additional day. I'd never do business here again!Travis L.

This location is awful!!! Do not use if at all possible!! It's located in a bad part of town that did not feel safe. The first parking lot was very small and there was little room to maneuver a 20ft truck between the trees. No one works inside. There is a number taped to the computer for customers to call, but the number was not accepting calls. There was no drop box for the key. We spent 30 minutes or more trying to get someone from U-Haul on the phone to figure out what to do. Finally, through online chat they told us to just leave the key in the truck and lock the door. Very stressful experience especially being out of town and having no one to contact for help. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!Melissa A.
I arrived during â€œhoursâ€ and no one was there to help. It was clear they had left for the day. So I parked the truck and followed the after hours drop off instructions provided on the app. Next, I discover that there is no key drop box. Even after a thorough search of the property it could not be located. I was forced to bring the keys back the next day and still there was no one in sight. The office door was unlocked so I left them on the desk. Absolutely horrible customer service and a massive inconvenience to meFranklin S.
We scheduled online (during the day) to pickup after hours. Unfortunately, this location doesn't offer that option but we were never informed prior to our arrival. After driving 3 hours to the location (arriving at 8:30pm) we were unable to reach anyone and customer service rep could only move the pickup reservation time to the following morning. We had to get a hotel room and return the following morning. That said, upon arrival the next day the staff was so friendly, and apologetic; we were also compensated for the inconvenience and added hotel expense. My only recommendation would be to remove the after hours pickup option for this location. Outside of that, excellent location employees with great personalities and customer skills!Jeani W.

Upon drop off at 4 pm (less than 24 hour rental) I was told just to give the key back and would get a receipt in about an hour via email. Although the person was nice, this did not seem like a good idea as no one inspected the return, the mileage, etc. I did not get my receipt until around noon the following day and found it difficult when following up. Then, when I did get it, I had to make more calls as I was overcharged $57,6 and had to have a credit issued.Tim H.

I was sent to 3 different locations to pick up truck and though I reserved a 15 foot truck, I was given a 26ft truck with no communication that it was the only one I could get. Truck was too big. I was afraid to drive it and it did not fit in either the move out or move in driveway. The pick up process out me 2 hours behind scedule. I will not be using uhaul for any future moving needs. The representative at this location could be more courteous. The truck was not ready for pickup. It had to be swept out and inspected while we were thereâ€¦ she showed up about 3 minutes to 9am. I highly encourage all people to AVOID using the Remount Road location in N Charleston. Not only did they not answer the telephone anytime I called, they did not return my numerous voicemail messages. They were late to the office when I had an appointment to pick up the uhaul. They did not give me the blankets or dolly I ordered along with the truck. The truck was filthy in the cab and in the backend. STAY AWAY! Use the uhaul location on Rivers Avenue.Tiffany P.

I would recommend an overall mechanical maintenance on the trucks to ensure customers receive a truck that drives smoothly. The truck I rented drives rough and jerks as if the automatic transmission had a hars time to shift.Eric B.

Waited about 15 minutes to be served. From there service was ok. Called the number indicated on the back of computer (843) 952-8450 to extend my rental. Got voicemail. I called number on website (843) 261-5344. No answer and recording for another number came on. Went to return the truck and waited 30 minutes. NO ONE was available to greet or accept rental. I called another U Haul facility while standing the the lobby for the return to see if there was another number for the location I was in to get assistance. After about 5 more minutes of waiting, 3 people came from the back. gentleman asked what I needed. Told him I needed to return my U haul rental. He said ok, I handed him the key and e said a copy of your receipt will be emailed to me. he asked where the truck was parked. I advised him , it was park on the side street where there rest of the U hauls were parked. Truck was inspected after I left. I was not asked if everything worked out. I was not asked if I was satisfied or anything in reference to the truck or my experience. Customer service really needs to be improved.FELECIA E.
