Julie CAgain my problem is caused by the online portion. Somehow the booking was until the 26th…. It was not needed that long. The tow dolly was what I wanted ended up with a trailer, I didn't need the insurance and declined it but I was charged for it. This aspect really bothers me and when I'm in a pickle to move I had no choice.

Michael WI received a text that other families needed the truck, so we worked to unload a day earlier so that others could use the truck. Ideally we would receive a credit back for early return. I tried to call a few times, but was on extended hold.
Anthony MNot open when I returned the trailer. So I couldn't turn in my unused boxes.
Laura WI noticed that I could see more of the trailer on the passenger side when I was driving. I had no probably with the trainer, but when dropping it off, I was told that the coupler was bad and the trailer was dangerous. I traveled over 650 miles with this equipment and that is quite concerning.

Alexa SAlthough it was no fault in this location, my reservation was changed that caused me the loss of 2 hours time and required additional mileage I was required to pay.

Krystal HThe location and the staff at this location were amazing, nothing but great things to say about them. I do believe the cost per mile has on some levels made renting and using uhual for a move prohibitive and no longer my first option.
James GWell, no one was there to check us in, even though their posted hours said someone should be there. So, I called U-Haul Traffic and told them we had arrived, but there was no one to check us in, and that I did not know how to do it on my phone. The young man I spoke with was most helpful, he checked me in over the phone, and then recommended I take pictures of the 6X12 trailer we rented, plus the surrounding are to make sure we were not billed anything additional and to prove we had dropped the trailer off as we were instructed to do in our contract. The trailer was great, just wish the dealer was there, yet hope there wasn't some kind of emergency that caused them to close early, but we'll never know that.
connie tI was very disappointed that the truck we requested was not available at the location we requested. We had to drive 15 miles one way to pick it up and 15 miles to drop it off. So we had to pay for 30 addition miles when it was not our decision. That isn't fair to the customer to make them pay for the miles when it wasn't their fault. In addition, I had requested the truck 2 weeks before our move, so it was known we needed the truck for that specific day, far in advance.
Levon LOpen on time, make sure equipment is serviceable. The roll up door was very hard to open, was told it's just cold. When I got to destination the door wouldn't open and I had to struggle because the cable on the torsion bar was broke

Loren GJust a note: The radio aux input was broke. I was hoping to use it with my cell phone. The 1200 mile trip through many areas of no or few radio stations, the loss of this option was greatly missed.
Steven DFairly easy process however, the U-Haul app on my pixel phone wouldn't let me move past the photo portion for taking a picture of the mileage. I had to have my wife download the app on her iphone in order to turn the vehicle in.

Randy CI thought everything was great. The only thing that I would change is letting people know the turn in process. I ended up dropping my keys in before I could get some pictures and such. Other than that the service was great, and the owners were really nice.

SYSTO RThis Box Elder SD location went above and beyond after a stressful day. That is why I rated them a Excellent. But I would rate my experience with U-Haul Poor. U-Haul called on the morning of Friday, June 25th. I was in Dickinson ND and an U- Haul representative said I needed to drive from Dickinson ND to Box Elder SD which is four and 1/2 to 5 hour drive to pick up my truck. I asked if I could take a moment to think about and call her back and she said if you don't want it we have other people that will take it. I had my reservation since May 17th. My reservation meant nothing to U-Haul. It is stressful enough moving and this fiasco on top was overwhelming. I ended up needing another truck and went thru the new Penske location in Dickinson. I called the evening of Sunday, June 27th and it was delivered to the location by 7:00 the next morning. It was more money then U- Haul but I will use Penske or another moving company before I will use U-Haul again.
