I have been overcharged. I paid 1/2 the amount by CC online. This location has charged me the full price. I cannot get a response from them nor from the regional manager where I left a voicemail.I have spent 7 hours on this. The location doesn't answer the phone and the voicemail is full. The regional manager never returned my call.I was charged for blanket I never got and without my permission 2 hand trucks were added to my order. I still have no reasonable response but am finally on the phone to the customer support line, after being on hold twice for more than 30 min the first time. This has been a week of patience on my part and I am pretty done with it. I have been promised a call from a manager within 24 to 72 hours...we shall see.

This is a general comment on uhaul, and has nothing to do with this specific location. While this is the location we picked our moving truck up from, this was not our first choice. I booked through the uhaul website. The location we originally booked was changed on our reservation without our knowledge, something we noticed the day before we were to pick up the truck. The new location was an estimated 45 min drive away, which definitely wouldn't work for us. Upon calling and asking why our reservation was changed, we were told that the location was just a preference but not guaranteed. This should have been noted somewhere because I never read it when booking. Truth be told, I had wanted to book with Budget Rental Trucks but no trucks were available for the specific location nearest to our home. To me, this is a good business practice rather than falsely advertising pick up locations to customers. The agent then offered to change our pick up location to a site 2.5 miles away, which sounded perfect and I don't understand why this wasn't done originally when they changed our reservation. Well, we arrived at this new location and there was no uhaul truck, and despite some signs for uhaul trucks, the address was for a barber shop. No one was at the location, though the smell of marijuana may have been the reason no one answered the door. Additionally, the phone number provided did not work. As I left to go to my car, multiple people loitering around the street asked if I needed drugs. I again called uhaul, explained what had happened and they apologized and found us a new truck pick up location. The new truck was located at a site about 12 miles away, but at this point we didn't care. We called before heading over to make sure the truck was there, but the person told us the truck wasn't starting and asked us to call back in 15 min. Upon calling back, he said the truck was fine, it was just that the previous renters still had a balance due on their invoice. This made no sense to me, why were we told that the truck wouldn't start when clearly that wasn't the real issue. Anyway, we go to the location address provided by uhaul and it is not the business that was specified. We googled the business and found that the address was wrong, it was a mile further down the road. We arrived, finally saw a uhaul truck and were relieved. I signed for everything but when I checked the interior of the truck, neither the utility dolly nor the furniture pads were there. I asked the location agent and he said he didn't have these, but called the main uhaul phone line and they directed me to go to yet another location to go pick these up. So, I drove another 4 miles to an actual uhaul rental location, where they did have the items but said I would need to pay $20. Mind you, I had already paid for these items in my contract. I told the agent of my whole ordeal thus far with uhaul and he simply took a picture of my contract and said his boss would figure it out, telling me

HORRIBLE location. System was working and owner had awful attitude. He belittled us and wasted an hour of our time. We had to cancel our order and now we’re starting all over.

I just checked my credit card and you guys charge me $40 for gas after I put gas in I'm not sure what the problem is but I'm going to fight this on my credit card statement this is total BS trying to rip off the customer I put the receipt for the damn gas in the truck and you still want to charge me $40 for 20 miles of gas you guys can kiss my ass I will never rent a truck from you guys again I wish I would have seen this before I rented the truck yesterday
