I confirmed a 20 foot van . On the day of the rental U-Haul changed the location to an inconvenient alternate location much father away. So then I had to change my reservation to pickup a small van and I had to do twice the mileage.
COLIN JMore specific instructions once pulling on to the lot would help . Just a " call this number for Uhaul" There are sign but they are also for another business at the location .

Daniel CJust a pick up drop off location, you have to check in everything in/out yourself and doesn't save the customer any money, pay the same rate as a facility with actual people and you can get the extras that one may need.

Norman MI can't rate it. I picked up the rental in a lot at the end of a really rough driveway. I had to call a phone number and be guided to the truck. It isn't a "location", just a phone, and lock box in a field.

Thomas T100 % dirt & gravel junkyard looking place. A disgrace to the name U-haul. Even after explaining the situation via my fee dispute after dropping off the truck, the guy still charged me for additional mileage which I was incorrectly quoted for. Again, shows me how unfair & dishonest U-haul is. I will never use U-haul again.

Robert LDon't know why i was charged for extra miles? Rental pickup location was 5-10 miles from location, and drop off location is less than a mile. I got charged for extra miles. Doesn't make sense.
Richard SConsidering I had issues with the pick-up of the U-Haul - I had to change my drop-off location from Wilton Manors to Palm City. I was told by this drop off location to call because Ican be charged dropping it off at another location without U-Haul knowing. I called the Wilton Manors location to mention 3 to 4 times that I needed to change my drop off location which she asked me each time what did I need as I repeated over. Hung up on her - called back, got the next customer service rep and she heard me fine when I told her I needed to change my drop off location. She had it done in one time me mentioning it but she did have a attitude.

ARTHUR BThe drop off location is an unpaved road leading to an unmanned parking lot. I did call the number on the contact and the lady was very friendly and helpful!
Chris GIt is off of a dirt road but there are many signs pointing you to the lot. It was very well maintained and easy to park.

Ali AThe moving blankets were unsealed and spread out on the cargo area. I left them folded and stacked Alison return. The moving dolly seal was also missing when I first entered the cargo area at location of the move. I worry I may be charged for either or both when I did not need to use.
MARK Jit was just a bit confusing that when you pull up no one from Uhaul is actually on site, you have to call a number and wait for a call back.

brian sThe location is not the problem , customer reservation Is the problem , they reserved a tryck for me that the oruginal location never had. I had to go 2 cities away to get the truck I needed. Horrible experience.

merry struck was not ready when we arrived and then had to drive to another location 20 minutes farther away from where we were headed. A total waste of time. There were other UHauls closer but they would not allow us to use.

Roberto HIt's a mowed lot in the middle of a field. You have to drive on a road that is just the lawn and filled with deep holes. I have a small hatchback and bottomed out a couple times

Angelica CWe had to drive down a very bumpy not paved dirt road that when we return the truck was not lit up with lights I ran into several ditches with my car there is no office you are just talking to somebody on the phone you really don't know where they're from I think the whole thing is strange I would not rent from this location again now the woman on the phone Beth was pleasant but again I prefer to rent from an office where I see the sign U-Haul... Should consider putting lights and better directional signs at the entrance because you have to get off the main street that is paved and you have to get on this long dirt road that's dark when you come return the truck.

Robert KDidn't get the dolly which was required for me to move the refridgerator. Had to pay two kids standing at a bus stop $20 each to help me move it. Explained this to customer service, haven't received a refund or discount at all.
Michael MTruck was only at 1/4 of a tank when picked up and was dropped off at 1/4 of a tank and I have timestamped pictures of the fuel level before leaving and when dropped off. I was charged for fuel level being lower than what it was picked up with. There's no actual office building as well so everything must be done over the phone.
Steven VMoving pads and equipment dollies were not on the truck. Choice Auction was very responsive when I called for support!
John LEmpty lot with no help. Called me twice to tell me they could not check me in till that afternoon. Will never go back !!!

Paul wThis guy didn't have the truck number on my contract and now I have two separate charges, for way more than my rental price. I did everything I was supposed and UHaul has not. Please fix this immediately or I'm reporting to the FTC.
Brian PI made reservations to pick up the 20' truck in Hobe Sound Fl. (Half mile from where I lived) I had to go to Palm City FL which was a much greater distance. This added stress to my move as my driver had to leave work to go get it for me. As a senior citizen I should have had the truck available as reserved in Hobe Sound. Also I had to call Uhaul in Inman SC upon arrival to arrange for the truck and trailer to be brought back to the same Uhaul dealer instead of two places 20 miles apart as you all set up. I asked your person when I rented the trailer the day after the truck to have drop off same place. He stated he couldn't find a place. Thirdly as an elderly person this move was stressful enough with all the hassle from uhaul. I moved to be by my son. I feel Uhaul should have explained more correctly truck sizes. My loaders measured my truck and including attic the truck was under 17 feet. So I had to rent a trailer so I could bring all my contents. I certainly feel my situation with all the above, I am a senior citizen, that Uhaul should reimburse at the very least half of what I paid for truck and trailer . I am a disabled senior and this move was very difficult financially to say the least but need to be by my son. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in my matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon
JOY VI was apprehensive when my GPS brought me to what appeared to be a vacant lot. The dirt path across the lot had signs that said to call for assistance so I did. The person who answered guided me to my trailer, made sure I was comfortable attaching the trailer to my truck myself, and reviewed the photo of my connections. He even offered to drive to the pickup location to assist if I needed. In the photo I sent him, he noticed that I did not tighten the hitch coupler adequately and made sure I adjusted it properly via photos and text. In less than 15 minutes from the time of arrival I was hooked up and on my way. Drop-off was similar, just as easy, and actually even quicker.
MICHAEL HThe truck pick up was ok with the exception that we had to drive ten miles to pick up a dolly and furniture pads for our move. Other than that, everything was good.
Larry BI've never seen a uhaul business run by phone service only. This was just an unmanned drop/ pick up location. I'm a woman and had to fine someone to go with me to hook up the trailer because this 6x12 trailer had no tongue jack and sitting on ground. No discount for doing the work ourselves. Uhaul should not allow an unmanned rental lot. Poor poor service.
kathy tNo one was there- empty lot with small sign with number to call. Told to just drop it in this empty field. Finally got receipt thru email 5 hours later.
Bradley SMy overall experience was less than acceptable. From the initial reservation which I made a week in advance I requested a local provider. I was given a location within 3 miles from my home. Then throughout the week, I received 3 more texts, one was pretty much threatening to cancel my reservation if I did not confirm, then I needed to add all my information including payment information, then the day before pick up it changed to a location 20 miles away, when I called to ask why the rep told me it was because the item I was renting was in high demand and that was the only location that had them. Upon arrival I called the location which is a parking lot with no office on site, I spoke to Mike, who advised me which one of the 2 (High demand) trailers on site I was reserved for. While on the phone verifying information, I asked if I had to come to the office to sign anything and pay, I was told "Oh no I already got your money" which meant he had already charged my credit card without letting me know he was doing this. By far this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had and for these reasons I probably will never rent from Uhaul again. I am deeply disappointed with this company, whoever changed these processes has created a terrible experience for the consumer. Good luck in the future, you are not the only truck rental business out there, I for one will be looking elsewhere first and only out of desperation would I consider renting from Uhaul again.
Mary RNot easy to figure out how to access the truck keys. Called U-Haul and they didn't know what to do. The app said I was in the right spot when I was standing next to the truck. When I dropped off the truck there was no instruction other than to drop the keys in the lockbox. Later I noticed a email asking for photos of the truck and miles etc. Well, that was a little late since I had already dropped off the truck and left the area. Communications and instruction needs to be better and more defined.
Tim TI-haul changed the location for pick up the truck, this location is hide. They charge me 20 usd for gas when I put gas on the same level, I send the picture with the gas level but they never answer back with solutions. Never use this location.
