While the local people did their best to reserve a trailer for me, it was not immediately clear if there was going to be a trailer available at my location or not. â€œA representative will call the day prior to let you knowâ€¦you may have to drive to another town to get one.â€ A trailer did become available, but there was billing confusion at check in, and again when dropping trailer off. The $ amount due changed 3 times from original quoteâ€¦seems like the process is too complicated and each individual at local location comes up with different amount based on their view of that process. In the end, it all worked out, but way too busy a process for something as simple as renting a trailer for a few days.Richard B.

I couldn't utilize the phone app. The verification procedure required me to leave the verification page to get the verification number, then I couldn't get back to the verification page. So, I ended up using the staff at the pick up site.Brian B.

Bypass the online reservation/pickup. It is not user friendly and ended up using a uhaul representative at the location to get the rental process completed. The representative there was excellent! Very friendly and helpful.Dave M.

This is for U-Haul as a company and not the locations I rented and returned equipment: Maybe don't call them reservations and the force a customer to drive an hour away if they want to use your service and then not have the ability to get all the equipment they needed and reserved. I won't be using U-Haul for me next move after that massive mistake on the company's part. Additional for how massive U-Haul is your website and app are garbage. The User Interface is confusing and unnecessarily complicated. The app also doesn't work properly and doesn't even have the option to select certain equipment. Returning the truck I rented required a phone call to customer service because you arent actually able to use the app for anything more than browsing some equipment. 0/5 stars for both.Corbin A.

Not entirely sure who actually runs the U-Haul portion of this establishment. Tried to drop off the keys twice and no one knew what to do with them or who I should turn them into. Eventually received a phone call from the regional office inquiring as to when I would like to turn the keys in, and explained my dilemma and situation was handled by the regional office. Never actually met or saw the person in charge of the U-Haul at the Chrome, and never fully had that closure if the equipment was turned in or I just dropped it off in a parking lot. No confirmation, nothing.Adam C.

Once I got on the road after loading the uhaul for a 17hour drive I noticed the uhauls AC was NOT Working!! After numerous calls to uhaul and the place i picked up and I was to drop off I kept getting the run around! So I made the miserable 17 hour drive with no AC. It was 90 degrees in the cab of the uhaul. Very disappointed with customer service and from the run around and no one taking responsibility I will definitely think twice about renting from uhaul for future needs.Bailey G.

I was charged $817 more than a month after I returned the rental trailer, with no notice, a fee on a $208 rental for having returned it to the wrong location. When I call U-Haul, they say to call U-Haul rep Mike Agnew at the Truck Stop, when I call the Truck Stop, they tell me Mike Agnew does not work there, and upon pressing they provided me with his phone number. After two days of messages left by UHaul and myself, he has not returned my phone calls. The hard truth is: when they have your credit card info and you are an out-of-town customer, the local affiliate feels they can charge whatever they like. Suffice to say, I will never provide credit card information to U-Haul again, and I strongly urge everyone not to endure the nightmare I have.John W.

At this location it took a long time to check in due to computer issues. The lady waiting on me bounced from the computer, IPad, to a phone. It was the longest time to check in, probably over 30 minutes all due to computer issues. I've used Uhaul several times over the past ten years and never had such a long check in. Someone from the IT Dept needs to go to that location and figure out the issue. This is the only issue causing them not to have an excellent rating. It was frustrating for us and the two workers trying to figure everything out,Stephen O.
