Have used U-Haul dozens of times. This was a terrible experience starting with the panic that my car hauler pick up time was 1:00 "because we close at 3:00!", then the first trailer had a broken jack that didn't work without a ridiculous fight and they wanted me to take it anyway. The second trailer was "reserved" but we got it as we were there first. This trailer was all beat up, broken light dangling, fold-down fenders damaged and hard to latch. The equipment had obviously not been checked or repaired and should never have been rented. I have a disability and assistance is needed, having only workers that were barely able to assist was not helpful. No offense, but need to be able to handle the equipment. Will never use this location again. Gives U-Haul a bad name.
Joseph AldersonThe mobile go app was not very user friendly. I tried for almost an hour to get the pickup process done. I lost the first hour and had to extend the rental to get the job complete. Had difficulty when returning the vehicle as well. The app just did not want to work on my phone for some reason. Luckily, it did work on my friends phone so I was able to complete the process.

Chad FairchildI wanted a cart and furniture dolly, along with some furniture pads, and none of those were in the truck when I picked them up. I will call to make sure I wasn't charged for them, but it is inconvenient to ask for and pay for these things only to not receive them.

Thomas McGuireWas charged for fuel after drop off, what a load of shit uhaul has been, would not recommend. Will go elsewhere next time. I returned it with more fuel than I got it and they lied about the miles and fuel it had when I picked it up. No paperwork at time of pickup only what they said after I fueled up and was loading the truck. BS I don't need.

Mary SchmidtWhile the local people did their best to reserve a trailer for me, it was not immediately clear if there was going to be a trailer available at my location or not. "A representative will call the day prior to let you know…you may have to drive to another town to get one." A trailer did become available, but there was billing confusion at check in, and again when dropping trailer off. The $ amount due changed 3 times from original quote…seems like the process is too complicated and each individual at local location comes up with different amount based on their view of that process. In the end, it all worked out, but way too busy a process for something as simple as renting a trailer for a few days.

Helen SchulerI couldn't utilize the phone app. The verification procedure required me to leave the verification page to get the verification number, then I couldn't get back to the verification page. So, I ended up using the staff at the pick up site.

Roger KorfBypass the online reservation/pickup. It is not user friendly and ended up using a uhaul representative at the location to get the rental process completed. The representative there was excellent! Very friendly and helpful.

Mariah PavonThis is for U-Haul as a company and not the locations I rented and returned equipment: Maybe don't call them reservations and the force a customer to drive an hour away if they want to use your service and then not have the ability to get all the equipment they needed and reserved. I won't be using U-Haul for me next move after that massive mistake on the company's part. Additional for how massive U-Haul is your website and app are garbage. The User Interface is confusing and unnecessarily complicated. The app also doesn't work properly and doesn't even have the option to select certain equipment. Returning the truck I rented required a phone call to customer service because you arent actually able to use the app for anything more than browsing some equipment. 0/5 stars for both.

Barbara StenceNot entirely sure who actually runs the U-Haul portion of this establishment. Tried to drop off the keys twice and no one knew what to do with them or who I should turn them into. Eventually received a phone call from the regional office inquiring as to when I would like to turn the keys in, and explained my dilemma and situation was handled by the regional office. Never actually met or saw the person in charge of the U-Haul at the Chrome, and never fully had that closure if the equipment was turned in or I just dropped it off in a parking lot. No confirmation, nothing.

danielle allenOnce I got on the road after loading the uhaul for a 17hour drive I noticed the uhauls AC was NOT Working!! After numerous calls to uhaul and the place i picked up and I was to drop off I kept getting the run around! So I made the miserable 17 hour drive with no AC. It was 90 degrees in the cab of the uhaul. Very disappointed with customer service and from the run around and no one taking responsibility I will definitely think twice about renting from uhaul for future needs.
