You unrealistic people reserve a 26'truck for me in your Langley location the phone me one day before my move and tell me there's no truck there for you but we have one on Hope. Terrible business practice for sure. Now the lady tells me all we have is a 20' truck in PoCo so I'm stuck with that and I needed two days to move my household from Maple Ridge to Chilliwack. Now the best part is when I take the truck back to the location you provided me which was Yarrow. I get there and they want to charge me more for the wrong location. Somebody in UHaul is fucked in there minds for sure. From now on it's a different moving company for sure. It's sad UHaul can't run a business never mind customer satisfaction! The office was a bit messy but the gentleman was helpful and friendly. They even pulled the truck out of the icy lot for me out onto the street so I didn't have to struggle with the snow and ice.Julia B.

I and the agent went over truck. We checked all lights where working. They were. But we did not check high beam. One was out. It was a strains experience driving in rain and fog That brings me next to the wipers. Dried out and almost useless. The agent was great and efficient.David K.

UHaul website still down and so could not return truck by cellphone as "location" of truck could not be verified. Had to wait for City Tire to open to return vehicle; making me an hour late for work. I returned the vehicle on time. The clerk in the location was busy with other customers and told me to give him the keys anand he would take care of it. He then processed the return when HE got around it it, which was late, and charged me a extra day for late fee plus coverage ($60) without my consent. I have now called the number twice and no one has picked up and there is no voicemail.Leah T.

I rented a dolly and when i picked up i asked specifically if the dolly is in the truck the guy said yes when i got to my place it wasn't there when i called to ask they say i need to pick it up again i only had a couple of hours reserved for my condo elevator so i was pressed for time and couldn't , not impressed with this at all.Edna P.
When I booked the rental I asked for the Langley location but the pickup was in Port Coquitlam. I was sent a notification that the Port Coquitlam store opened at 9:00 am but it doesn't open until 9:30! Also they did not have the appliance dolly I requested so I had to go to Langley to get one and when I arrived at the Langley location, there was a 15 ft. truck in the parking lot!!! why couldn't I get the truck where I wanted? the excuse I always get from Uhaul is availability at time of pickup but this is clearly not the case in this instance! I wont be renting from Uhaul again as customer service does not seem to be a priority!Tracy Z.

This Location was Great. Originally thew truck was to be picked up at 13425 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC. The staff at the Surrey location were great as well. My Issue is with how Uhaul Deals with equipment (Truck) availability. I was contacted 2 days prior to pick up with a confirmation guaranteeing a 26' truck at 7am the scheduled time, I confirmed this further by visiting the location and getting face to face confirmation, then the day before pick up I received a telephone confirmation TELLING me that my 20' truck would be ready for pickup at 830 am...The Real Problem is that I was Not contacted letting me know there situation and presented with a list of possible solutions. there solution of a smaller truck later in than originally scheduled would not work for me because of the sale of the house. I had to confront the call center, the location, and then the call center again before getting any possible solution. I was told at one point by the Surrey location staff (Who also said they couldn't look up truck availability at other locations) that there were no 26' trucks available in the entire lower mainland, this turned out to be false. The call center eventually found a 26' truck at City Tire (Who was relieved to get rid of this huge truck since there were 2 26' trucks sitting there using up all his parking). My advice to U-HAUL, when you have a truck scheduled at it breaks down or your scheduling changes for some reason... Call your customer Explain your situation, apologize for the inconvenience, and present options to your customer, work WITH your customer, to find a reasonable solution that works for everyone. In closing; U-Haul customer service/scheduling did find a solution. Getting to that solution was painful and didn't need to be, there was a truck available not far away.DALE E.
Next time someone reserves a truck for a specific time and date, try and make sure you actually have a truck for that person at that location. We had to go out of our way to pick up and also lost our movers because the truck was 6 hours late.Brent S.

I wanted to return to imperial storage they were quite rude and said not here. Did not even tell me the direction to go. The drop off has poor signage closed. No direction where to leave the truck. Not happy with drop off.Andrew L.
The fellow helping me at the Broadway PoCo location was great and the truck worked as expected. I was hoping for tie-down straps which I understood were included. Actually trying to arrange the truck using the on-line system and customer service was horrible - I booked on-line, confirmed the booking face-to-face with Uhaul in Port Moody and 2 times over the phone with Uhaul customer service and they still got it all wrong. I had two calls from Uhaul customer service AFTER I dropped the truck off asking me where the truck was...a very frustrating experience. Glad I don't need moving trucks often.Randall M.
I would NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone. I will never be using the service again. I was not told that the rental of the truck is not guaranteed and that the pick up location could be anywhere within 5 hrs of original location, or even confirmed location. I called the pick up location as we were leaving to confirm the truck was there, and they told me that the truck was not there and it was in Victoria so there was no truck available to me. If I wouldn't have called, I would have shown up there, with my 3 kids, ready to move my house and there would have been no truck. This is completely unacceptable business practice and has huge impacts on people lives. If customer service wasn't able to find another truck on the busiest moving weekend of the year, we wouldn't have been able to move. This would have impacted our closing date, our finances and the school start up for the kids. Absolutely unacceptable, considering I reserved 3 weeks prior.Michael H.

The sales person should spend a little more time with customer. We were actually charged for rental of 5 furniture blankets and received none. Didn't even realize until the fellow in Maple Ridge phoned us to ask where they were. Upon looking at receipt we actually realized we had paid five dollars for five blankets but were never given any. We had ordered 20 but they said they only had five but they were never given to us but charged on our bill.Rick C.

I dropped off uhaul equipment and he told me i owed 20 dollars more for late equipment i told him i wasnt paying it cause i had this stupid representative that couldnt tell me where it is supposed to be dropped. I had to figure out myself. They just took it anyway straight from my account...i have filed a claim against them. That was so wrong to do when the company is so disorganized and we have to pay for that. Disgusting...CHERYL M.

The express check in i had to wait 20 minutes while Gentleman on the phone with tire inquiries, which is what the site sells. I know the weather was much to be desired but i am patient. i finally said i have people waiting to assist in the move and need the truck. I booked a truck to be told the N Van branch suddenly went out if stock! I was given choice of N Delta or Port Coquitlam. I chose the latter. The Indian man promised he'd give me some free mileage bcoz I had to drive back 40 km to my place of moving. Upon return he refused to give any free mileage. Cheater.kamran V.

The location was great. However the U-haul booking service was terrible. I booked a 17' truck online on a Sunday. It was accepted and I even did the advanced online check in. I got two voicemail's on the Thursday two days before my pick up date saying there was no 17' trucks left and I would have to settle for a cargo van. Absolutely terrible service with such short notice. I ended up having to do double the mileage with a much smaller van. I didn't even get a phone call back about my complaint and I will consider looking at other companies in the future. I'm not sure I can recommend U-haul to friends and family after this let down.Patrick C.

This location was helpful and the owner was great. Uhaul as a company I'll never use again. I reserved my truck a week in advance for uhaul Langley. I arrive at 715am to be told I switched my pick up location to port Coquitlam the night before. So apparently I decided to change my pickup to 30 minutes away from my house and in the opposite direction I'm headed. And clearly I forgot because I still went to my reserved location for 715am. I had movers and cleaners coming at 8am. But because I now had to drive 30 minutes across 2 bridge tolls I lost my cleaners. By the time I'm able to get my truck drive back to cloverdale it's many hours later. Then the next day when I'm unloading my truck I get a call that I'm late returning the truck. You change my pick up location, make me lose my cleaners, have the nerve at Langley to tell me I'm the one who changed the location then say I'm late returning the truck, charge me for it and then also charge me for gas that I refilled and have the receipt for. $250 total for thr worst experience I've had with a company. $90 extra charges. Absolutely brutal. Worst can't express how terrible my experience was with uhaul.Karena T.
Dont change the pick up location on the last day.. Be informative...let customer know about which vehicle is/are available at each location. Im not happy with the way uhaul is doing business... My pickup location was changed on me at the last minute. I booked more than 3 weeks out and confirmed my location with Port Moody and was told that I would have a 7am pickup on Saturday. I was called at 230 on Friday and told I could not pickup until 10am Saturday in Poco. I said that this did not work for me. When he called me back he said he had a truck for Friday night but I had to pick it up by 5. He told me to drive out and take a cab back it would only be 50 dollars each way. He gave me no options and to be treated like this as a customer is unnexceptable. I have rented fro Uhaul many times as you can see but this was a complete blunder from the start. The gentleman told me that they do not confirm the reservation until the day before. So why do you allow people to go online and book so far ahead it is rediculous. I will have to think long and hard if I rent from you again based on how I was treated. Sorry to be negative but this was a very negative experience. The person I spoke to on Friday afternoon was rude and offered no real solutions except to tell me it was my problem. As the customer and a consumer that has options where I spend my money. This experience was a very negative one that cost me much time and money. I would like to hear your response as I work in the customer service business and I'm interested on how this is dealt with. When you give a cash deposit so your credit card doesn't get charged then have to argue to get your change ( which I never did get the correct amount back) and credit card still gets charged and it takes a week to get it refunded that's bullshit I say !!!Shawn M.

On the day of pickup, they had no furniture pads or a moving dolly even though we had reserved these items weeks earlier. I had to go buy a dolly. The truck was in terrible condition and the battery could barely hold a charge. Would not recommend this site.SHANE L.
Please check on the trucks, maybe disinfect once in a while; I got myself a new tenant in the form of a mouse after using the truck; it came with it. U-Haul charged me for the fuel and they should not; I had fax-ed the proof that I have returned the gas tank with the same amount of fuel; I was told I will be reimbursed but it didn't happen, yet.MANUELA T.
