I had the vehicle booked for 10 am, I was called at 9:55 by the location to let me know it was not there but would be there by 12:00. At 11:55 I missed a call from the location but when I tried to call back the phone went straight to voicemail four consecutive times. I arrived at the location at 12:00 the truck was still not there, the man helping me wasn't answering my questions and stared at the computer while I asked if there was anything available. He was not clear with me at all and his communication left a lot to be desired. I was told there was not a truck for me and he canceled my reservation. As I scrambled to find another truck after noon on a Sunday he eventually called me at 1:00 letting me know that the truck had in fact arrived. Once I arrived at the location if still took an hour to get the truck ready and get my reservation redone. This location was the worst Uhaul experience I've ever had. I was supposed to have my vehicle at 10:00 in the morning and didn't end up getting it until around 2:00. I understand delays but the way the location handled the situation was unprofessional and extraordinarily frustrating.

We only needed a 10' truck to move some outdoor furniture from our house in Warrenton, VA to my parents in Moorefield, WV. It cost us $500. for a 2 day rental, for this reason I would not recommend Uhaul.

The local store and employee I came in contact with were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately this was not the location or time I originally wanted to rent from. About 2 days before my move I received a call from a Uhaul customer service agent saying that the truck I was going to rent was not available and I needed to go to a different location 12 miles further away and pickup a truck 1 1/2 hours after I wanted. I already had movers confirmed at the original time and ended up paying movers to wait until I returned with the truck. For the additional 24 miles I drove the truck and inconvenience I got a measly $50 refund that I haven't seen yet. I asked for a supervisor to call me back to discuss when one was available and never received a call. I called back and spoke with someone who was less than friendly and could use additional training on customer care.

First he is extremely rude and barely speaks English. The big problem I have is that the transport I rented had no brakes!!!! I was on a tight schedule so it's not like I could wait for a different one. My route has lots of mountains and everytime you needed brakes the trailer would slam forward as the brakes simply weren't there. I actually got down and felt all 4 brakes completely cold. When I complained and requested compensation I was told to take it up with the place I rented it as it their job to inspect them..

We received excellent service at this location, and even though he was alone with non-stop customers, he was polite and patient with everyone, while managing to assist everyone quicky and competently.

The trailer was great did the job well and very reasonable, The issue I have is I was about an hour past 24th hour of rental and was charged for 2 days even though I returned it the next day very close to the same time I had picked it up. The extra day isn't going to break me but I thought it was pretty petty.

Location only had one employee. He was running the convenience store, gas station and U-Haul Center by himself. Service was slow and disorganized. I was listed as returning the trailer a day later than actual resulting in late charges.

The trailer was in good mechanical condition but cosmetically it was looking rough; peeling decals etc on all sides. I really don't care but it doesn't do anything for U Haul's image to have trailers looking so rough. That said, the trucks I saw at this location all looked fresh and professional. I'm accustomed to pulling trailers but a newbie might have appreciated a bit more input at the moment of hook-up. I was on my own at that point. The email about recording the condition of the trailer at pickup arrived after I had left with it so that was a bit weird. These trailers seem to be in demand. In the end I had to phone U Haul to actually book one. The website said there were none available, but the the operator hooked me up no worries. The website is glitchy. It would be easy to use if it worked smoothly, but it didn't (for me anyway). A good experience all around. Not complaining at all, just giving feedback.

This was are second rental and the first one went well but on the second rental the cab of the truck was very filthy and disgusting. There was food crumbs on the passenger seat and floor and food in driver door. With all the COV19 going on we would hope U-Haul would have better precautionary measurement for cleaning truck before handing them out. Truck would not go over 75 mph too. Was missing review mirror with back up camera.

With our family farm being sold & real estate settlement several days away, Peter at the Broadview Warrenton, VA location accommadated our needs within an HOUR!!! On a Sunday afternoon, Peter set us up with a 15' Truck which was exactly what we needed to complete that one last load, and Rental Truck was returned at 7pm that same day. I was impressed with how Uhaul has streamlined the entire rental experience for all.

Peter Cheon and his team do a great job. I needed my rental truck for two hours longer than I planned and they allowed me to return it with an after hour key drop box. There was no extra charge for this convenience and I'm very thankful for being allowed to return the equipment this way. I'll definitely rent from this location again.

We had a 2day reservation and our paperwork clearly indicated that the truck and blankets needed to be returned by 5 pm on Sunday July 26th. We arrived at the Clean car Wash site around 11am on July 26 and the representative tried to charge us $112 for and extra day of rental for the truck and pads in addition to the mileage overage. I had to argue that my contract indicated 5pm on July 26 and I would not pay anything but mileage. (I disagreed with the reduction from 136 miles allowed to 110 miles allowed when our pick up site was moved to the Richmond site but that was not his doing). He reluctantly credited my credit card for the $112 and rerung only the mileage. I really did not need a hassle at the end of a long move. Renting this truck was not a pleasant experience. From worrying that I would not have a truck at all, to having to drive nearly an hour to pick it up, an hour back to have it on site to load before the 2 hour trip, to the hassle at drop off- not the best experience at all.

My issue is primarily by the general model of Uhaul in the first place, rather than the specific location. What is really a $1 per mile charge is price gouging. Uhaul virtually has a monopoly over the moving industry, by doing so takes advantages over its customers with charges to that degree as stated above. Considering that the customer pays for the gas as well, that is ridiculous.

hire additional worker, one person running gas station, convience store, and uhaul was not efficient. especially with people calling for uhaul assistance, we were sympathetic but the wait is not fair to any of the customers.
