This was the most frustrating U-Haul experience I have ever had. The online rental experience continues to get more frustrating and difficult. I have been using U-Haul for years now and have done around six moves. It was to the point I had to go in the store to get the truck because online(even chatting with an agent) was not working.
Trevian AMy experience with U-Haul customer service, particularly with manager Luisa over the phone, was exceptionally poor. Despite reaching out for assistance with my reservation from Hinesville, GA to Ocala, FL, Luisa's handling of the situation left much to be desired.Communication with Luisa was challenging and unhelpful. She appeared uninformed about my reservation details and was unable to provide clear guidance or assistance. Her responses were lacking in professionalism and failed to address my concerns effectively.When I encountered issues during the rental, including damage to my vehicle, Luisa offered no meaningful assistance or resolution. Her dismissive attitude and lack of accountability further exacerbated an already frustrating situation.Overall, my experience with U-Haul's customer service under Luisa's management was deeply unsatisfactory. I would caution against relying on this service for any rental needs due to the poor communication, unhelpful attitude, and lack of support demonstrated by Luisa and her team.
Jhonny AFriendly service The only thing I wish that Uhaul would do is offer the rental of dolly's for moving. I've never rented a Uhaul and assumed the dolly's came with the trucks. When I made the reservation nobody said anything about no having dolly's . When I went to pick the truck up and I asked if there was a dolly they told me dolly's don't come with the trucks and I asked to rent one they told me they didn't have any. Had I known that at the time I reserved the truck I would have reserved one then.

ROGER OWhen you enter you have to search for someone to help. There is no counter, just offices and no one greets you and ask you to wait while they are helping others.

Al HThe company should honor the customers that take time and do reservations with time in advance. I did mine a month ago and hours before my day the reservation location was changed to one 25 minutes away. I was OK with this in some matter but when I got there the person didn't had my reservation in his computer and either a truck to give me. The available truck was founded another 30 minutes away which was actually an hour away from my original reservation spot. A waste of time and a very frustrating thing for me that had already a moving day scheduled for different tasks.

My final receipt stated I returned the truck with 1/4 a tank less, and I was charged $50+ in fuel charges. Next time, I will be sure to walk out with the rep to verify fuel level. Very disappointing.
steve tMake sure the previous customer left enough gas in the truck. After picking up the truck and driving for 5mins the truck ran out of gas. We were on the way to the gas station but we're unable to make it there. We broke down in the middle of the street which caused a block in traffic. The police were called and we had to purchase a gas can plus gas! Today was such an inconvenience all because the previous renters did not leave enough gas in the truck. Never again.

KEITH LThe employee seemed to intentionally trick me to fill up gas on an empty-tank truck by marking the gas at 1/4 while giving me the key and the paperworks. I drove it off the site right at 4:30pm, which is the same time they're closed. 5 minutes later I got to the gas station and noticed hmthe discrepancy but I couldn't do anything; my mistake for not walking to the truck with her and verify that information, but she was definitely not honest. I filled it up and did my trip and dropped it off the same night at 1/4 gas mark, to realize they tricked me the second time the next morning by re-marking the required gas at the marking higher than 1/4 and claimed that I did not put enough gas to the original level. I was overcharged the "made-up" amount for 4 gallons of gasoline for $16,2 and the associated fuel service fee for $30.00. I got business out of town early in the morning and I do not want to make a scene, plus I have my own mistake of not verifying initially; therefore, I did not complain and still pay the amount shown with all the made-up overcharges. However, the truth will still be told to warn other people and to improve your service, so there is this honest review.

chris mThe customer service was great! The only thing that I'm not pleased about is that I was told the gas was at 1/2 tank. When we got in the truck it was not on 1/2 a tank. It was more like 1/4 tank. We didn't go far…just cleared a storage unit in town and delivered contents (also in town). We refueled the vehicle with $10 worth of gas, which placed the fuel over how we received the vehicle. However, I was charged an enormous amount for fuel upon returning the vehicle. I take full responsibility because we should have shown them where the gas needle was prior to leaving the facility that morning. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Candance DBetter Wi-Fi at location to be able to complete after hour key pick up from lock box. Trained customer serve agents to better assist you pick up time was at 5:30 I was there until at least 7:20 because the location on my phone would not grant permission . I was transferred five times to different people I had to keep starting over with to try and get my location to accept . The last person I done to Tammy took her two minutes to help me after I stood outside for hours in the cold and dark trying to get the key out of the lock box. I let her know I really appreciate her as I was very upset after a long day of work and thinking which should have been an easy process lasted two hours. Also the next day to my destination my drop off for the truck location was changed to Savannah GA something I did not authorize but customer service helped with that part .

roslyn sLocations seem to never have trucks. I needed an appliance dolly, believe I was charged for one. Got to the location and it was closed. Had to do all these extra things just to get it. Never did a check out by phone, had to list two references, it was a lot. Couldn't find the correct box to get the U-Haul…. It's easier to just go when a place is open. And when did rentals change from 24hours??
Evian KThe employees at this location are the best but the truck was not. I called road side service twice because the truck wouldn't start and I wasn't able to load or move my items. This caused me to waste money and a whole day because of this issue.

Well lite and bright lighting throughput the facility so you can actually see where your going. This facility makes sure it's customers have easy access to their unit and has large dollie's available for easy transport of your belongings. Staff here are always polite and available.
