The customer service was the worst! The operator was not supposed to close til 7p but left to go to his son’s baseball game and faulted me for it having the lockbox code that I was told I didn’t need. He didn’t have the furniture cover I requested for purchase and what he had was filthy and wasn’t anything I could use. I could not close out my rental via the app. I tired to call the operator all day on 7-6-19 to complete my transaction and he never showed up to work. I went to the location twice! Another worker in there called the operator. After expressing my concerns, he said in was nothing he could do because he was a his son's baseball game and wouldn’t be around for about another two hours. That was about 4pm and he literally just got back to my at about 7:15p to close out my rental. I’m dissatisfied with the way this rental occurred. The customer service was the absolute worst! The part that upset me most is that I paid to be on a schedule but instead I was inconveniently on the operator’s time. He failed to uphold his end of the agreement and I was subjected to abide by his schedule and his lack of care for my dissatisfaction I’ve had with my experience! It’s completely unacceptable as a customer

Worst pickup experience I've ever had. You should remove this location. I was told my "preferred" location was not available. I then had to take an Uber to the south side of Chicago where my U-Haul was in a vacant lot with waist-high weeds and wouldn't open until 11am. After waiting 40 minutes, I knew this location wasn't going to open on time. Just as I was getting ready to spend another $30 to take an Uber back to downtown Chicago and call off the entire move, a U-Haul service truck rolled in, made a key for the truck on the spot, and was a life saver. But U-haul call-in customer service and coordination was a joke. I won't use U-haul again for my cross-country move which is now from Indianapolis to Orange County, CA. It was beyond frustrating.

Tell customers it's a barber shop, not a standard U-Haul store. It was difficult to find because of the lack/size of signage indicating it as so.
