I rented the U Haul truck online from the 5201 Denton Hwy, Haltom City, TX 76148 location where my things were stored. I received a call the following day to inform me that I would have to pick up the truck from another location 3,3 miles away. The person that called me said they only had this truck at the new location and that I didn't have a choice. When I got to the new location, it was a "head Shop". Filled mostly with cannabis pipes and pictures. This was totally offensive to me!! The attendant rang me up and the cost was almost $100 more. I immediately called a U Haul rep and they changed the price back to what I had booked it for 2 days prior. This took around 30 minutes and now I'm behind my time schedule. We arrive at the storage facility and there are 3 26" trucks just like the one I rented sitting there 2 of which we completely boxed in so I know they hadn't just arrived or were being readied for departure. My overall experience with this whole situation was horrible and I will not be renting from U haul again and I will advise others to do the same!!

When I arrived I was told I needed to pull the tow dolly out myself from the back of the store. There was almost no room to menuever my vehicle. I had to manually pull out the dolly, drag it to my truck and hook it up my self. Then when I returned it I was told i had to put it back myself where it was. No help from anyone. I've never had a rental where I almost threw out my back because I had to move the dolly by hand. To top it all off I was charged for am extra day because I was late. I will be reaching out to.customer service. No one should have to go through this.

This location did not have someone who was trained to remove the equipment and we had to use Youtube to figure out how to remove the equipment. As a customer, this is not my responsibility to remove the equipment.

Worst uhaul location ever. Located in a small old strip mall with storage in back. Access was by a long twisted drive. They wanted me to back the trailer on the driveway to a small storage area. I said NO. Insisted they move trucks and equipment so I could drive in frontward. Still not enough space after many attempts to unhook the trailer. In frustration I dropped the trailer in the middle of the storage area and told them it was their problem. The rental location is also a smoke shop and not very comfortable. Who knows what all they were selling. Bad bad bad!!!!

The guy said he would send me a receipt to my email, I asked "that's it"? However I advised I would need to know how much I would be charged he insisted he would email me but I stayed. Still I didn't know how much I would be charged. I got the email 30 mins after I left. The charge I felt was outrageous without explanation. Will never use Uhaul again.

Shady part of town. Truck cargo area was grease and smelled of smoke. The guy was nice, helpful. Really upset the appliance dolly was not advaiable even though we requested one during booking in the app. Also the" hours" did not match the actual locations hours according to the guy in the weed shop. He was helpful and nice, gave us a 50$ gas voucher because the truck was totally empty. But I put the whole 50$ in the tank and then some so when it was returned there was about a ¼ tank left, so you got your monies worth with me.

Has no “after hours” drop off… was charged 2 days because this location has a locked gate that you can’t enter drop off equipment after hours… straight trash and will not be back to this location!

The service is good, but the location is hard to find. Also I wanted to ask many questions that I normally ask at a UHaul center but I couldn't because the smoke shop don't have all the equipment on the stand, it just have the trailer. On a good note, I was so happy I was able to return the trailer earlier than expected because they shop is open until late hours!!, that's awesome, it so I am giving 4 stars for that extra service.

The owner/manager was nice and very helpful but I was uncomfortable renting from here because I was unaware this location sold drug paraphernalia.

Make sure to include the equipment rentals with the truck! The truck was great and has made me consider a life of driving one, so thank you so much for your help, either way!

The whole experience was amazing and so much simpler than I expected. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. I plan to use this location and refer friends to this location as well. Them being open later is a super helpful thing.
