Uhaul on inside was clean. Outside was filthy and all marked with C’s from damage. Even the lady at the Uhaul pick up said it was in bad shape. The process for pick up was not bad, but a teenager, who didn’t really no what to do, checked us out until an adult came and took over. Probably will never use Uhaul again. Also, reserved two trucks charged for one at pick up. Not charged for second at pick up and had no idea what we were paying. Went to return trucks, dropped off keys at Colby’s no problem. Went to drop off second truck and there was no record we even had it! Thank goodness we are honest and called to find out! The rep was shocked we had had a truck for 3 days! She didn’t know what to do. Transferred to another rep who ‘checked us in’ even though we had no rental. Randomly got a debit taken for the truck with no reservation. Not cool. Would have preferred to know up front like the other truck. Not my best rental experience. Back to Budget we go! We know better now. Thought we were making good rental choice...not so much. Hopefully, the second truck is fine. We may never know. Uhaul never checked back with us.

There was no one to walk me through the process or anything. I specifically asked to go inside a uhaul location to talk to a rep to go over my lease agreement and go over everything. When I get there I had to do everything mobile which I DIDNT WANT TO OR REQUESTED TO DO. So after I picked up my rental, the gas was on empty I filled up (but since no one told me that part about the agreement is that if you fill up you don’t reimburse the unused gas) I basically gave you guys a FREE tank of gas because I didn’t even use that much gas to begin with. And on top of that the rental was missing my dollies which I had paid for, so I had to go back to the main location on Arizona ave and thankfully after 3 phone calls someone got us something useful because you had “run” out of dollies. My whole experience was AWEFUL and I will NEVER be renting from U-Haul again! Specially that I am not going to get reimbursed for spending more than I had to on gas

Had I been given a choice, I would not have selected Coby's when there is a uhaul rental place in walking distance from my house. Thought it could be a gas station where I could fill up. Instead I had to drive extra to get gas. Then charged $7.64 for extra miles. Turned truck in 40 hours before due. Where's my credit for that?

It took us over an hour to pick up the truck. The location had taken the keys inside behind the counter. They didn’t speak English, so when we couldn’t find the key box and asked the ripple inside they weren’t able to communicate. Then we were on the phone and messaging trying to find the key box. It wasn’t until my wife went into the store and searched around and spotted the key behind the counter that we got somewhere. Next she had trouble telling them we needed the key. After they finally gave us the key, we left. The location was a bad area of town. The whole thing was horrible and uhaul should pay US for having to go through it!

I did not receive any phone calls, voicemails, text messages, or emails requesting me to turn in my equipment. Then one day the truck I rented was towed without notice with my entire home inside of it. "Coby's" lied and said they called me and they did not inform me of anything for the three weeks I had the truck. Why? Because they wanted to collect more money by me possessing it longer. I would have easily and gladly returned the equipment if I would have been notified, rather than pay more charges, be blacklisted from U-Haul, inconvenieced with Chandler Police, and have my home put into a storage by someone else when I could have done it myself, in a storage I chose. My phone number is 254-350-9587, in case Coby's tryed calling a different number because they typed it in wrong at acquisition. I want at least 50% of the total charge dropped for everything. If not, I will sue Coby's and/or affiliates. This entire experience has been an unecessary hardship, a waste of time, and money. My wife and I are both Veteran's of the Iraq War, and homeschool our four children. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I reserved a truck that was 2 miles from my house. The day before I was supposed to pick up the rental UHaul called me and switched it to a place in Gilbert. While I was on my way to the place in Gilbert Uhaul called again and switched me to another location which would be Kobe’s. When I arrived there was nobody there to rent the truck and I had to wait over 20 minutes. When she finally arrived and rented the truck, she took a copy of my ID and then failed to return it. So I drove all the way to California for 400+ miles with NO drivers license. Nobody bothered to look it up in the computer and let me know or send it back. I had to follow up and I had to ask if it was there!! NoW I’m driving without ID until it is returned! I was also charged for insurance that I did not request. In fact, I specifically stated more than once that I did not want insurance. This was the most complicated and inconvenient U-Haul experience I’ve ever heard of. I was not on the road until after 3pm, had to make a 2 day trip out of it and my family was not available to help unload the next day because of this mixup. I have requested that the insurance charge be refunded but have not received any updates. I would never recommend uhaul to anyone based on this experience

Good luck. You'll need it here. No hablo English. Drop your keys off, take lots of pictures of the fuel gauge, exterior, interior and hope for the best. I would follow up with a phone call to the customer service with U-haul to provide a electronic paper trail of your transaction also register with their online service.

Merchant did not have me sign a contract and handed me the keys without going over anything. I even had to ask which truck was mine. I had the truck for just a bit over 24 hours and even though it would not have been rented till the next day I was still charged for another day. I won't use uhaul in the future.

I rented a dolly too and it was not in the truck nor anybody handled it to me, I had to go back to get it from the rental place. Parking the truck at that place was not an easy task because there are cars parking there too.

Jasmine was WONDERFUL to work with. However, the other employees at this location didn’t speak ANY English. Making phone calls to arrange pick up was impossible. Jasmine was patient, helpful and kind. She was easy to reach on her cell phone and drove down to the place just to help us out. Thank You Jasmine

He called me on my way to say there was a closer location to take it and i didn’t need to bring it to him. After calling U-Haul to find out said location and traveling through the desert waiting on hold for 10 minutes with my phone cutting out with no service i gave up and took it there. He was “surprised “ to see me and said he was getting ready to close. That was rude. Especially after trying and trying to find somewhere else to take it. He said there’s somewhere closer to you you could’ve taken it. I told him i tried, I’m in a new town and don’t know where anything is and overwhelmed from driving.

They seemingly had no record of my pick up appointment even though they text me to confirm the day before. Had to help unlock the padlock on the backdoor of the truck because the clerk didn't know how and asked me to do it for her. After trying it several times myself the clerk's manager asked to speak with me on the phone and told me he didn't want to come over just to help me unlock the uhaul in an irritated and rude tone. After doing it myself before he arrived, the clerk asked to take pictures of my ID with her phone which seems sketchy.

I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 8am. The person that works at the location did not show up until 8:10am. Then when she got there she had no idea how to handle the U-Haul transactions. So she had to call in another girl who then took almost another 10 minutes to get there. When she did show up she was in her pajamas. Then when I was returning the truck two days later at 8am., again at 8:05am there was still no one there. So I just left the key in the drop box and hoped for the best. I really wanted to hand the key to a person so I could make sure that it was all handled correctly. Especially since the initial experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Thankfully I was charged the correct amount, however I will NOT be going back to this location ever again.
