AUTUMN PEARL LESSEYmy truck was changed to a size that cannot fit in my driveway, no one informed me of this. By the grace of Jesus the size I wanted was at the location, but not checked in as of yet. They had to redo my entire reservation. PLUS, I keep having my pick up locations changed and have to put extra miles on to my already expensive move. Uhaul must hear constant complaints about the mileage. What happened to unlimited miles, or at least going half w/the customers? I was promised extra miles for the last minute changes, but I dont see it reflected this is now twice.
Michael LevineThe furniture is I added in were terrible smelling and smelled of mold, mildew and the personnel at my drop off location described as "smells like rotting radishes". They were also wet, so I'm thinking the bag was not secured and it was rained on. Not a huge deal, I was refunded immediately and everyone was very nice, professional and most of all, polite. It's nice to be respected !

Menachem SugarThe whole experience was very positive. I really enjoyed the convenience of using the mobile app. It was quick easy and convenient. The only suggestion I have is that I wish the 10 foot U-Haul. I rented had a ramp. Other than that I give Uhaul 110 %. And I will definitely use Uhaul again.

douglas beaneI had to run arround to find a truck in 3 location after being told on a phone that the truck was there. At the last location phone operator at uhaul promised a $50 credit to be subtracted for running arround, but newer did! Overall im happy with my move!

simon feisenbergerWhen I originally called this place they said they had no trailers available when I wanted one. A different location made a reservation for my trailer here which seemed strange. When I returned the trailer the employee was not able to get in the building so I waited a while for a jack. Eventually another customer arrived and easily lifted the receiver off the ball and I left.

Alberto RodriguezI would recommend another location that has more equipment available. When I contacted U-Haul to extend my rental by 24 hours I was told this location did not have an additional truck, and had to have my truck back at the time specified. Having more equipment on hand would have alleviated this issue. There were plenty of smaller trucks available. Not being able to extend the rental caused difficulties.

I actually rented from Port Jervis but read the horror story reviews and determined it was worth the extra few miles to rent from Matamoras location and so glad I did! Even on her sprained ankle, Rebecca walked me through the process and was helpful when I had a question over the phone. She was friendly and courteous - it was a very stressful day of moving for me, and she made the rental process pleasant and stress-free. I am very grateful! Great job, Rebecca! I would definitely rent from this location again, if need arises!
Eugene MosesThis comment is not for the location but for corporate concerning the plastic fenders on the tow dolly. My dolly had many areas that had X sticker's but one area was cracked and the crack began to get bigger as the wind passed through it. I ended up using some tape to prevent it from getting worse. Please consider replacing the fenders more regularly.

Amber CookThey where excellent ! Interesting how you don't ask about the actual U haul employees you talk to when you call U haul. From customer service to their supervisors you must train people to be this rude and uncaring because that kind of talent is not native nor does it occur naturally. U haul is one of the most pathetic and unprofessional companies I've ever encountered... do you really read these and follow up on these issues ? I seriously doubt it because it takes a long time for a customer service business to fall to this level of disfunction
John TrojanTest drive trucks for Saftey first practice. Clean windows and trucks for driver Saftey. Also general cleaning during these times should be a given.
Dawn MayfieldThe gas guage is incorrect and caused me to lose over 15 dollars on gasoline. The guage was on Full when I rented the truck but the tank was not full. I filled it up prior to returning it, after driving only 36 miles. It took over 6 gallons of gas!! The resulting gas guage was above F. The truck was very clean but I question the maintenance. In addition to the incorrect gas guage, a dashboard light in the shape of a trailer came on.

I did mention this to an associate who said they would call the owner to move it over. It was never moved. Otherwise I was satisfied with storing my RV there. Close. Convenient, affordable, accessible. I will use this facility again in the future if needed
