The check in instructions advised to check the vehicle for cleanliness, we did not realize that meant inside the storage portion of the vehicle as well. When we got to our storage unit to load up we discovered that the inside was filthy: broken glass, Q-tips, used fake eyelashes, and just dirt in general. Pretty gross.
Ivan W.I could not get the key out of the lock box because I was given the wrong passcode and then while trying to solve the issue I was on hold for 2 and a half hours before finding a different number to call. Also tried to use live chat and they're just as lazy, leaving the chat as soon as you don't respond in 60 seconds. I will never use U-Haul again.
Nakyra N.After cleaning cat litter and cat shit out of the back of the truck at pickup. Telling the cashier upon return the cashier said we apologize let me apply a credit to your bill all I have received has been collection notices for $22 wtf. This is outraged and disgusting never again stay away from renting from Voss storage. I am paying the 22 but under no circumstance will I recommend Uhaul or this location ever.

I had to go to home depot and get me a doll . Second my drop off location was far even tho i told them to put it where I was located at I got charged for extra miles .

MICHAEL P.The truck was the worst one I've ever rented ! The tow equipment button was on, the truck only would go about 20-30 miles an hour and when you tried to take off it was pulling back. I did not even go 1/2 mile and had used 1/4 tank of gas. The battery lite was on the entire time. I only did one errand and was exhausted so back I went got gas and when I got back to u haul there was a moving van blocking the entrance. Around the block using more gas & miles for no reason. I was only gone for about 1 1/2 hours so quite an expensive trip. I called the store to let them know what was going on and was told if you break down we can not come help you. Every experience there has been good up until now. But today a total Waste of my time & money!

DAVID CHARLES P.The light in the interior of the cargo area did not work and I had to load the truck in the dark. The latch of the rear door got wedged above the rubber stop at the top of the rear opening. It took me 30 minutes with a crowbar and hammer to get it unstuck, otherwise I could not drive the truck after fully loading it. I reported the issues to the rental location and they acknowledged the issues were legitimate mate, but said they were not authorized to make any adjustments to my bill for the inconveniences. I am not sure I want to rent from U-Haul if they will not stand behind their product. To do nothing was quite offensive and cavalier.

RAMSEY C.When I picked up the truck, I was told that I have 3/4 of gas in the truck. I returned it back with the same , but was charged two gallons of fuel! Whoever there that reads the fuel gauge , should have very good eyesight! I did not like it!

Delayed our move for a full day and since that we tried to call endless times to file a complaint but the line will hung up after the recording instead of transferring to a real person. Awful
Hussam F.The pick up time 9 am was changed to 9:30 am by Uhaul in the morning of pick up. Moving help arrived to my apartment at 9:20am, I told them to start the clock. The location is actually not opening before 10am. One employee decided to assist. The truck was parked in a snug/tight fashion, I was afraid to break the mirrors. I had a stressful experience.

Kevin P.Issues with mobile phone app. Pictures on system outdated. Unreported damages on system. In attempt to log damages, system froze. When reported was instructed not to worry about inspection and to take truck. No assistance was offered to walk to manually inspect vehicle with me. Truck had sluggish brakes. During middle if rental, had trouble starting truck. One last comment, do not like new segmental rental terms. Felt rushed. Terms did not seem fair and felt like uhaul taking advantage. Negative experience. May effect my utilizing uhaul in future.

Kathleen M.I don't know if I've EVER received this poor of customer service. When I arrived at the location, the online check-in wasn't working so I had to go inside and check out my truck/equipment manually. I waited AT LEAST 40 minutes before I was even helped by an associate. By the time I was finally assisted, I had to convince the associate to adjust my rental time to allocate for the HOUR time difference for which I actually received my truck/equipment vs the time I had actually rented it for. The equipment was supposed to be in my truck waiting for me but after I was finally helped, I had to personally take the equipment from inside the location and put it inside my truck. ALSO once I was given the keys to the truck and I asked an associate where it was parked (they had been walking other guests to their trucks and assisting them in their initial inspections, etc), the associate had the gall the shrug her shoulders, tell me to look for a "boxy truck" and then walked away from me. I will never go back to this location again.

Mohamad S.Did not have my reservation in system even though I had an email verifying it. The Uhaul website for scanning my drivers license didn't work. I hate Uhaul. I've used Uhaul several times over the years, and I've literally never once had a smooth, problem-free experience.
